  1. Good that this has been closed, I just despise people that do those kind of things! A real AFOL would not even think of it anyway! Most of the discussion is/was probably done by children that have not yet established proper moral values! And appereantly they do not seem to realize TLG could be surfing these boards as well, and announcing or telling they have done it into the past, might even bring themselves or others into serious problems. Also if TLG continues to read things like this they might think it would be better to close this great program. Yes, IMHO its a great program for people that actually didn't get a brick, a damaged one, or lost one. I fully support ImperialShadows' statement, and hope that this will never be discussed again on Eurobricks!
  2. Hello there Victor, Welkom op het Eurobricks forum! And enjoy your time here!
  3. I love it! Especcialy your office chair, bin, pc and note board turned out great. You get a double from me.
  4. Someone has an Evil Twinbrother or sister...
  5. Musket as well! People of the Shipyard, this would make a great poll-article for CP! EDIT: Erdy is on it. Thanks mate!
  6. Personally I love the ketchup (please tell me it IS ketchup you used as blood!) And I love these snowy scenes a lot as well, good job !
  7. Wow that looks fantastic, . Where are the times I used to play Half Life every day after school, hours and hours...
  8. Yes that's very cruel, especcialy if its about that much money and such. I hope that, if it was a joke or "sabotage mission", the people that did it will get more then a "non-payer" strike on their probably never-to-be-used-again eBay account! I just hope the builders were smart enough to not start celebrating immediatly after the auction ended...
  9. 2009? 99% change of nada, nothing, rien and nikske! 2010? Perhaps, and hopefully! I would like the ship to be bigger then the Imperial Flagship! As large as the BB would satisfy me, knowing that dreaming of anything larger in the normal Pirates line will always remain dreaming and nothing more ...(unless its released as a Special or something).
  10. Done! I hope this will be a succes!
  11. The natives look amazing in this MOC, and I just have to love the cross! Combining the Imperial Armada with these Indy minifigs was, looking at it now, just bound to happen ! Now I want some of these Indians too (hell, their prizes on BL are going to raise I'm afraid .)
  12. ABout 50, 40 of them are used as a Landwehr unit into my Napoleonic Army, I count them by torso as well. They are still quite cheap...so great for armybuilding IMO!
  13. Happy Birthday guys, btw, KimT, I noticed you received my Birthday gift?
  14. Very good matey's! We'll inform you of our decision early next week.
  15. Looks good, mister Bricks, and yes, it does remind me of Pillage the Village as well! The wooden pole with the skull on top looks great and the burning rocks would make the Viking sweat at an amazing rate, straight till his last drop of fluid has left his poor body... (cruel dead I imagine, would be proud! ). I do doubt however the "men of the North" still looked like that (like Vikings) in that time of age .
  16. Amazing pics Tom ! I'm sure you guys really enjoyed yourselves on Texel, I wil try to make it next time...
  17. Well done Wouwie! I always believed you would do a good job (look at your title), and you have been a mighty fine help! Ok, fellow Pirate Scums , let's focus ourselves on who can join the dreamteam next! (Joining means you will become a volunteer for the first month, then a New Recruit and from there the promotions start!).
  18. For those that want to know or see more of the real Batavia, click here for a virtual tour! I agree with Bonaparte about not putting it on the poop deck because of the longer cables and fewer protection it would offer, but then again we cannot ignore history. Can someone (Sire Jipay?) please change this traître à l'Empire's name into Lord Nelson or Duke of Wellington please ?
  19. I voted for good old Redbeard! The new Brickbeard looks more like a Ballet-dancer and Ironhook has something from a beggar/ a since longtime schipwrecked pirate, which doesn't really plea into his advantage .
  20. I love how you (and some others) managed to incorporate those magnificient large stone-wall sections. It is a fact I will try to include some of them in my very next Bricklink order ! Your shiphull looks good too, I am really looking forward to see the port (ship incl.) completed!
  21. Redbeard is one of the most Iconic minifigs ever produced IMO (I got about 50 of him, most of the torso's serving in my Napoleonic Army by now as Auxilliary forces). But as Mister Phes says, Brickbeard does look a lot like him, and I really believe he is an updated version of him, just too many similarities! After all the new redcoats are also updated versions of the old redcoats, commanded by a Governor and such.
  22. I love them! My favourite must be the Roman, fighting with the native warrior! Close second is the execution! Good work, .
  23. Zorro

    Stinkbug

Wow, that looks very good mate! The legs look good and functional but the real masterpiece must be the 'head' I think!
  24. Welcome to Eurobricks, I hope you will feel right at home here!
  25. I love it! Some elements are a bit futuristic IMHO (like the bathroom and daughters bedroom), but the details are extra-ordinary! The staircase, the kitchen, the maps- and chesshall... Another BIG improvement!
