Oh man those are some amazing MOCs! I'm honoured to be among them! :D

That's right, I just went through the letters of the alphabet and found this one interesting to give my own interpretation. I've never even seen The Rise of Skywalker (it was not recommended by anyone I talked to who had seen it ).

Thanks for the great replies :) Oh you mean this guy?

Here's a D-Wing Fighter for M4-22. The D-wing fighter was a type of starfighter active during the First Order-Resistance War. A modified D-wing was used by the bounty hunter Seleno Chandro in The Rise of Skywalker.

[COMIC] The Monday Deathmatch Tournament
Aliencat replied to Aliencat's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Thanks! I am still working on it, but it's going a bit slowly because of some IRL issues. -
It sits stable enough with gravity's help, but it's not playable. The whole back half is only attached to the rest of the hull by one hinge plate on each side. Gravity holds it in place, picking it up will warp it out of shape
-
Thanks for all the great comments! Sure, I just took some photos of the sloop by itself. I don't, but I can share some WIP pictures. I started with the shape of the hull, and filled it in from there.

[COMIC] The Monday Deathmatch Tournament

Thanks! Sorry about the delay. Due to a severe family emergency I haven't had much time to build and photograph the new scenes. I've finished a new chapter though (18 pages). I'm just polishing a few things here and there, and then I can upload it. -
Thanks for the comments! It's built in segments, you can see some more of the insides and the segments in this article: https://bricknerd.com/home/a-whole-new-dimension-a-look-inside-an-ancient-gate-5-20-21

So I found this amazing artwork Thru by Gabriele Pala 6 years ago (go check out his amazing artwork at www.gabrielepala.com) , I saved it into my inspiration folder to one day build a MOC based on it, but of course completely in Aliencat-style: It always seemed like an overly ambitious project, but then this pandemic happened and I spent the past year finally building it :) I contacted Gabriele some time during the build to show my process and he was just as enthusiastic as I was! So here's the finished MOC, The Ancient Gate of Qarava, my interpretation of Gabriele's amazing artwork:
