  1. Nice little build, I like the wheel!
  2. @Goliath, I agree with Gideon! I'm a fan of small builds, a sweeping majestic one isn't necessarily the best one. Just start throwing bricks together and see what you get!
  3. Very cool, love that tree, and the colour scheme is great!
  4. Nice little scene- would've preferred the goblin figs, but I totally understand if you've not any!
  5. Intercepted Rebel Transmission: I view SONE in a similar way to GoH, in that I'm aiming to improve my building in a sci-Fi environment, and discover new techniques. It's a community, and I think that a collective attempt to help each other produce the best builds, and to stretch each other should be something we consider. Although I do like the competition! Rebel transmission ends.
  6. Thanks guys! Regarding the githril, perhaps that could be a regional name- perhaps the Nocty name for it, as it's where Daeran first came across it? And thus we could come up with another name? And kabel + mc, oops didn't mean to start that!
  7. Excellent idea using a face in the chest! Love the walls too- great colours.
  8. Thank you guys! With regards to the base, I was experimenting- trying to make it different to my usual base styling- with the feedback I think I'll try something different. It's only my second go at a outdoor desert build, so it's an area I want to improve, and I need more tan plates!
  9. Freebuilds: Githril Shopping in Ruadh / Lord Vladivus / Nocturnus Old Friends. / Lord Vladivus / Nocturnus Making Alliances / Lord Vladivus / Nocturnus Challenge Entries: Challenge 4: Captured! / Lord Vladivus / Nocturnus Challenge 4: Nestlands Skirmish / Lord Vladivus / Nocturnus Challenge 4: Unsuspecting Ulandian / Lord Vladivus / Nocturnus
  10. I built something in Ruadh! New freebuild!
  11. A vibrant and colourful town, Ruadh attracts customers from far and wide to it's many shops, which sell a variety of items. One such shop is that of Daeran, who sells finely crafted golden trinkets, weapons and armour. This is no ordinary gold however, as it is githril. Githril is to gold what Mithril is to silver, but far stronger and rarer. It is rumoured that only the greatest artisans in Historica can shape this metal. Daeren first discovered the metal whilst travelling in Nocturnus as a young lad, and is now a consummate artist, creating items that shine with with such artistic beauty, that they are worthy of display in the richest of collections. This is not all, for Daeran's wife is a master enchantress, and bestows enchantments upon Daeran's creations. These range from simple luck charms, to wards that shield the bearer from harm, or weapons with elemental effects. Today, the shop has visitors, of a couple of different kinds. There is a vampiress and her man bat guard here to peruse the wares within the shop. This has made Daeran's wife and the other visitor, their son nervous, as they are unsure of the monsters motives. Daeran's son is a cadet in the Barquan city guard, and is visiting home on leave from his gruelling training schedule. Inside the shop, Lady Sithanna makes her purchases- a golden breastplate and a warhammer, both made of enchanted githril, as a gift for Lord Vladivus. C+C welcome! I built this to practise my Kali building, and also because Ruadh is a pretty awesome place. Thanks to SarahJoy for letting me build in Ruadh!
  12. Damn that's awesome! Amazing build!
  13. Damn. GoH is losing one of it's best members. I shall be sad to see you go, but stay safe, and I hope we see you back!
  14. Nice posing, and cool fence!
  15. Didn't think there was a burp there, so good job!
  16. I hope Beaver still enters the comps, even with just freebuilds. Similarly with MK! Their contributions to SONE are part of what made me finally join. Congrats to everyone, some fantastic entries all round! And time to upgrade my character. I might actually get around to adding a photo for the index now. And lastly, I'd like to claim the tag!
  17. Nice build! I like the figs, and the snot-work isn't bad. The shaping is good, but fewer colours might be an idea! The story is cool too!
  18. Very cool LD! Nice parts usage!
  19. Nice job with a limited collection! In terms of improving, an irregular base or a border would help the presentation. Try not to make the trees so blocky (I struggle with brick-building trees myself!). Rocks are better often with slopes, and snotted. Look to bricklink to expand your collection, you can pick up plenty of bricks at a cheap rate- sets are often a expensive way to get bricks! Hope that helps a bit! Looking forward to more!
  20. Beautiful build! Love all the different plants, and the irregular base is spot on!
  21. Nice posing!
