I wouldn't say the hunchback is my favorite mech design but your lego version is pretty acurate to the real thing. It must be a little bit easier to make these on LDD because you could have the program and the picture of the mech open at the same time.That and the fact that you don't have to search for one tiny brick in a bin of thousands

Nice to know theres another mechwarrior fan here . The bush wacker is my favorite out of all of them because the scaling of everything on it is pretty acurate , the ryoken is also great Legs on the uziel are too thing I think but the torso looks decent. Make a shadow cat and I'll be your fan.

I never knew Nate but I feel as if i lost a friend this morning , there will be a gap in the lego community without him. I'm sorry for his family's loss.

This has happened to me countless times. Once i sorted through all my lego bins searching for a simple black nozzle brick that you see everywhere .I searched for 3 hours trying to find it and once i found it and built the mech i was working on i found tons of the piece everywhere i looked

I've never seen this set before but i really wish i had . I like the small details and classic look of it too. The cockpit is one of the nicest i've seen in a lego set and from the exterior it also looks good. Thanks for the reveiw

It's very nice for somthing made out of the pieces of only one set. Does it only use pieces from that set ir did you fill in the gaps with your own ?

I really like your style of building. You don't seem to use many crazy tecniques and the constuction of the moc is quite clean , almost as if it were going to be a lego set. I can really respect this Does the boat have any interior or is it plain on the inside?

This is actually a pretty nice mod . Does the back still open up like it did before or is can it not move? If you can still open it you should put the hover bike where the lazer cannon used to be .It's a neat mod i did before and it adds a lot of playability.

Dude that Awsome spaceship must have like 10/10 swooshabilty My spaceship is way better though . I don't have pictures of it yet and I still haven't built it either but it's still Epic! I did a similar thing on my flickr but the moc i used was an old one i actually tried to make nice when i built it

It's a little blocky in some places and i'm not so sure i like that fan thing at the end of the ship. But other thatn those two things the ship is quite nice and i like the swan head.

Looks just like the scene. you should crop the picture a bit though. If you keep doing these you could try using some of houndknights new decals.

Ah April fools day has already started where you live I still have to wait a few hours before i can ducktape my friends locker at school.

Nice review Even though there are a few problems with the design , it is small space bases like this one that make me want old space back.

These are nice decals houndknight and they are also pretty acurate to the real ones in the comic. I wonder what you would use for a tintin hairpiece? What characters will you be doing next? Tintin was probably the only comic i ever got into and i really enjoyed them .I have all but 4 of the tintin books and i've watched all the flim versions

Zellers is also having a 1/2 sale but sadly it's only for atlantis , bionicle ,and ben ten. The TRU one sounds pretty good especially with theire selection. sadly the closest one to me is an hour and a half away.

How do you keep getting these minifigs, is there a store that sells them near you? The wrench i have to agree is a pretty lame choice for an accessory but what could they have used instead?

You know it's kinda funny that the alpha team mech has less weapons than the atlantis mech because isn't the atlantis theme more about exploration and alphateam about fighting bad guys. I just find it intresting how more and more weapons and missles start apearring on sets every year. The atlantis mech almost looks like a giant version of theRiver dragon from exoforce 08.

I wonder how they got this precentage ? What would be neat to know is what precent TFOL's have in lego sales.

Yeah the crawler mode is sorta ugly. These are a little bit similar to the last wave of alphateam sets that could transform between walker and crawler modes.

Those bots are very nice and the tracked one is my favorite. I think you should have used a white background instead of a dark blue one though.

I really love this. I've always wanted to build a lego RC car but i don't have the skill that you and others have. How complicated is it to start building one of these models? Is it a lot of shoot and miss trying to get everything working well?

I agree with you on BBF syndrome . I wonder what other colours could work for castle though maybe white ,tan ,black , or even dark grey could be used. Those colours don't have the kindof clean and shiny good guys look that bley castles have , and tan would make it look like hogwarts in the end

Well i personally wouldn't want ancient history theme to replace castle . i would like it to be like how we had vikings and knights kingdom at the same time. The thing that i'm finding tiresome about the castle themes are the sets are too similar. I would like to have a real mountain fortress set or at least a castle similar to these two castle 1 and castle 2. These set's both have a landscape that also affects the way the castle is built instead of a castle like this where it's pretty flat except for the odd burp inbetween. All these giant seige engines that lego is putting into the castle theme are the thing that has really gotten tiresome for me. All i want is a simple well designed trebuchet or battering ram , not some massive flickfire missle launching battle tower. castle has become a little tiresome but i don't want it to be replaced.

I found the same deal too , sadly i didn't have any money at the time, pretty good price though .
