  1. Thats a very clever idea and everything fits in nicely. If this were a real rover would the outside frame be covered in plates for added protection? It would help in harsh weather conditions and protect more fragile componets. My only problem with this is the digging shovel looks like it would be a little akward to use.
  2. I might have to bite the bullet and buy one of these sets for those new black limbs for mecha legs . Everything else is kinda useless though because its designed solely for this purpose.
  3. It's an intresting idea but everything on it isn't balanced , the gun is far too big , the legs are the kind you would use on a quad mech not a biped , It's just kinda all over the place. If you kept it balanced and maybe went with a more theme apropriate colour scheme you could make one badass belville hardsuit.
  4. Tubing only comes in white , silver , and trans blue as far as i know .Well thats the only colours i have at least Knights armour is a little worse because most coloured versions have printing on them. I can however use a photo editing program and just change the colours like that. Thanks
  5. Sure it doesn't have power funtions but that doesn't mean it can't have fantastic written all over it. The semi-circle cockpit goes really well with the ball wheel and i'm suprised you got it all to balance. I know it would be hard because of limited parts selection but i think it would look great in white. nice work.
  6. You really used those bionicle elements to good effect on this. What really makes this moc for me is the solid ruby like head ,it makes the whole mech seem bigger even thouh it's actually pretty small.
  7. It's almost entirerly purist except for the cut tubing , i could however have done it without cutting. The robot is based off the black rabbit minifig and has a similar height too. I made two versions of this robot, the earlier one that was a robo hobo and had no feet and this new one that has feet and better picture quality. Enjoy
  8. I really like this hound knight. Those joints you used intrigue me and i'll have to try them sometime today. The gun in my opinion isn't too blocky and it's design fits the boxy body of this well. Excellent presentation of it too
  9. Pretty neat The body of it kinda reminds me of a boat with that blue bottom and white top ,whitch is a nice look for an exploring vehicle. How is it's balance though? It looks like it stands decently because it's bottom heavy but does it tip with a tap?
  10. Nice work! The broken up cheese slope roof is something i haven't seen yet for post apoc . It makes the roof a lot more intresting. A little more decay on the white building and a few more raiders for that buggy and this will be more than blog worthy.
  11. Mars mission colour scheme seems to work well with that ship design. Did you get instructions from him to build that or did you just build it by sight(a brutal task).
  12. You know you can scroll down right
  13. Last movie i watched was harold and maude. It was intresting , strange but good.
  14. I made a search on flickr for this tower but could not find it. I would suggest searching brickshelf with tags like castle tower , or look for builders who build in that style. Why dare you so intrested in finding it? Edit- I found it tower you were looking for
  15. Its a very pretty and tragic scene you made but what really shocks me is how many of those dark tan plates you've collected
  16. It's a very classic looking scene and the small gentle stream really makes the setting.I appreciate that you used mainly older pieces in it's construction as well as tecniques.
  17. What legitimatealex said before me i agree with. You need to post pictures of the legs you have already been trying to build. That way i can pick a few pictures of mine to give to you as an example. As I've suggested to others take a look at some of the mech on my flickr. The designs are easy and sturdy for most of them and are in a varity of size from mechette to medium assault size. If you find a leg design that will work i can get breakdown pictures ofr you.
  18. I really don't like the jack stone figs just for their look. The faces and bodys look more like regular action figures rather than mini-figs . Their limbs can't be removed and they are very tall making them quite useless for mocs. I found a jackstone fig when my front steps were being replaced and i threw it back as soon as i found it
  19. Thanks More people seem to be into building spider walkers and hardsuits rather than battlemechs , maybe those ones are easier to balance?
  20. The Volker is 14 inches tall and can fit a minifig. It uses the same leg design as the Fleabut is a bit bulkier. It is armed with dual cannons , smoke cannisters , and pulse lasers. Thanks for looking and comments are appreciated
  21. ^ Thats a point i've been wondering about too. Theres so many themes that could be considered sci-fi and so many sci-fi themes that could be considered an action theme.
  22. For lighting I just use my window thats opposite of the background and my bedroom light thats above. Thats all the lighting i use and it seems to work decently. You would get better results however if you went and bought some more lights but the quality should be good enough as it is.
  23. It's the only space theme you've seriously collected so that would mean your opinions are a little biased.New alien molds also aren't the best thing to base a whole theme on. Whats wrong with the jungle? sure it lacked the industrial look of the first wave but it was still an intresting change , it just seemed a little rushed because it was the last wave. You pretty much summed up my whole opinion of space police right there. I gotta agree that having two ship designs in one box takes away from the design of both.
  24. You know whats really easy to use ... T-shirts! If you tack them onto the wall or tacboard and have them low enough so you have a decent hight and base you can get some pretty nice photos. The best thing about it is you can just tack a different colour of cloth over and then rip it off after your are done.. I tried booths made of paper and they don't work so well, so high quality booth or cloth booth are your best bets. You could also possibly take you pictures in your garden on some rocks , that always looks nice enough too Just some ideas for you
  25. I really like it's asymetrical style and although the location of the lower cockpit doesn't make much sense it still looks really cool and unique. It doesn't look too much like an overhauled magma mech seeming that it ditched the lime green and went for a nice minty sand green. Really great work , one of your best! Ps Thanks for ditching the horrid blue drill
