That is looking great. I like how you designed that little crane.

Very good work indeed, I like how it appears to be perfect size compared to minifigures. I have never seen a grader completed in lego form because I assumed it was too tricky and the shape hard to accurately convey. But this is great and to me perfect!

Tour Perret from Auguste Perret (update in 1st post)
Midnight replied to lego-maniac's topic in LEGO Town
Wow... That is looking amazing. I have never tried to build something of that scale before, because of the sheer time and cost. it will be great to see how this eventually turns out. Good luck! -
That is a bit of a shame as I thought double VIP points started on March 1st. I guess I will just buy Palace Cinema on February 14th as I want it as soon as possible, and the points were the incentive to wait

The castle looks especially great and beautiful, but I can't see myself getting all of the others. It is really interesting how after collecting for a long time you end up with so many factions and kingdoms. it still never gets boring.

Lego Technic 2h 2013
Midnight replied to sama's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I am loving these new technic sets. About a year ago I switched into city style sets but I think that the mobile crane with all it's sheer size and glory will draw me back to technic.- 902 replies

This sounds great, an iconic piece of Australia that is in a large scale to put on the desk for display . I will be looking forward to this and I am quite intrigued to how they are going to design the roof, as it is quite a hard shape to capture in a big lego set. Let's hope they get it right, because it will make or break the set.

I am really looking forward to getting the cargo plane. There are so many support vehicles and they even contain those 'miniature' lego boxes like in 3221 Lego city truck. Additionally there is a lot of versatility and the main components look really good. This set is great, especially as I was about to pay several hundred for the earlier lego cargo plane. As for the other cargo sets, the heliplane looks great but the rest of the theme does not attract my eye. As for the Coast Guard sets, I feel every single one of them is beautiful. Also looking forward to the City starter set as I don't yet have a propper minifigure scale ambulance.

I cannot wait for the lego Aviation Adventures. From the looks of it two minifigures can fit in it and i will definitely buy at least one.

Collectable Minifigure Sightings & Availability
Midnight replied to mo123567's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Series 9 has hit my local shopping centre near Sydney, Australia! Unfortunately while sorting through the box I discovered half of them to already be open. It's a real shame for the retailers as many of those packets may not be sold, and may stop them from stocking future series. Out of Series 9 I only really need the Judge, Waiter and several Policemen so I may just order them over the internet, even though I personally want the satisfaction of finding them myself. -
This is by far one of the best themes for 2013. It has nearly everything for both Western and Historical fans but also large playability for children. I really feel The LEGO Group has outdone themselves. As for the sets individually, I will definitely purchase 1 or even multiples of the train, and considering sources say it comes with a full circuit of track it seems like a bargain. Additionally I will also get multiples of the Cavalry Builder Set as it is the perfect set for army builders like myself and can be used in Civil War MOCs. I'm sure to get these as soon as they come out. Thanks once again LEGO!

I am really amazed with this next modular building and will definitely buy it when it comes out on March 1st. And after a while of staring and gazing that limousine is becoming more copable and I am really quite fond of it. On a down note, I looked on the LEGO website at the 360 degree turn for the model and the roof just looks very, very messy on the other side. I guess this shouldn't matter but it still makes me cringe a little.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 10 Discussion
Midnight replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I am really looking forward to getting these minifigures. I especially like the Revolutionary Soldier and Roman Officer, and just hope that when I buy a full box of 60 minifigures the new distribution will help me out, and give me a decent 6 of each. Though I am not at all fussed by this 'Golden Minifigure' unless I can sell it for $50 and buy other sets.- 1,076 replies
