  1. Sorry, what new Arkham? I'd love a newer one if this is true, I'm still kicking myself about not buying the 2013 set.
  2. Picked up the Green Lantern vs. Sinestro set at TRU for 20% off. Also made a Bricklink order and got some parts for CWverse characters I'm working on.
  3. My thoughts exactly. I was building the Green Lantern vs. Sinestro set yesterday and I was thinking about how 2015 was definitely the best year of DC Superheroes. So many different heroes and villains. The 2016 sets are nice but they're only movie sets and Batman sets, which is what next year will be too. Comic JL waves like winter 2015 would be great in 2018. (Though I would love some sets based on the CW universe too. )
  4. Great as always Oky. That Arrow one is too true. (Also jealous of that Zuko! Did you put an updated hairpiece on him?)
  5. Woody's arms and legs would make a great Mr. Fantastic. Or Kamala Khan Ms. Marvel.
  6. I don't even watch AT and I think those minifigs look great! Odd that the new Voldemort is missing the nose slits.
  7. Those are some great suggestions! Only thing is I was going to use Star-Lord's head for Oliver Queen. Is there one that suits Oliver better? EDIT: would '66 Catwoman's head work for Black Canary? Right now nobody sells just the head on Bricklink, but I'm sure someone will eventually.
  8. Ah. Looks like I need to read a little better instead of just looking at the pictures.
  9. Would this head work? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=146930#T=S&C=90&O={"color":90}
  10. Amazing! It looks like the Keatonmobile, the Arkham Knight Batmobile, and the BvS Batmobile were all combined.
  11. That is definitely the old Yoda UCS set.
  12. Good ideas! For the hair I think I'll use the Sleepyhead hair in dark brown.
  13. Those running effects look great!
  14. I'm working on some CW figs right now. Any ideas for the following: Barry's head, torso, and legs Caitlin's head, torso, and legs Eddie's head Iris West Joe West Diggle's hair Felicity's torso and legs Black Canary
  15. Sorry about the bump. Do you happen to have LDD files for any of these? They look fantastic!
  16. Watchmen. Would never happen, but it would be so cool.
  17. Ugh. I was really excited for DC Girls until I heard minidolls. I was really hoping for minifigs.
  18. Yes. It's a pretty neat feature. BTW, didn't that video say TTG is getting a Level Pack and a Fun Pack? That means unfortunately only 2 characters. I'm guessing Beast Boy in the Level Pack, Raven in the Fun Pack, Cyborg has his new costume, and Robin will come with the Lego Batman Movie and also have a TTG costume. Which means no Star.
  19. Wave 2? Sweet! Also on the point of Wizard of Oz minifigs, wouldn't a CMF series be cool? Probably the only way we'd get the rest of the characters.
  20. Only problem is what would these characters do? They need some abilities to be viable characters. Claire: haven't seen JW since it came out, but the only thing I can think of right now is Illumination with a torch. Plus I think she wasn't chosen because they didn't want to have to hire her actress to voice her, since they didn't have to track (ha, puns) down Pratt because he was already voicing Emmet. Companions: drawing a blank here since I've never seen Doctor Who... Velma: I can only think of Tracking and Illumination, which would make her the exact same as Shaggy. Maybe she could have Technology as well? Marge, Lisa, and Maggie: Marge I can't think of a single thing. Lisa would have Mini Access, Sonar Smash, and Technology. Maggie would have Short Access. The only believable one is Lisa, and they don't even have rights for her actress. They did have rights for Krusty's voice, hence Krusty. Plus he has Plant Growth, Hazard Cleanup, and pie throwing, all useful abilities. Dorothy: I really want Dorothy too. But the problem with her is while she is the main character, she doesn't do a ton of actiony stuff that translates into game abilities. Hermione: for one, she could still be revealed. We haven't seen everything yet. But I have a feeling we won't see her or Ron, and here's why: magic. The description for the Team Pack says that Harry has some spells and Voldemort has some Dark Arts spells. Which unfortunately means any other witch or wizard from the series would feel pretty samey. Batgirl: literally just a Batman clone. Believe me, I want these characters as much as you do. But I don't think it's "corporate misogyny," I believe it's just that they want unique characters. EDIT: also Sonic looks super cool! Is he coming in 2016?
  21. Welcome to Eurobricks Ohnoto! Huge fan of your work in the LD subreddit. Thanks for updating this!
  22. I think Phase 3 will be pink. The first Keystone has three portal colors: light blue, yellow, and pink. We have light blue and now yellow, so I'm guessing next is pink. While I strongly agree about more female characters, there's a difference from normal Lego and Dimensions. In normal sets, you just make the character and people buy them. But in Dimensions, they need special abilities to make them useful in the game. If they don't do anything in the game, who's going to buy them? Now, the case with Supergirl is a special one. I was hoping she would be playable (mostly because of the TV show) but I thought it was impossible because her abilities are the exact same as Superman's. Green Arrow is the same deal, a character that I really wanted, (again because of the TV show) but seemed pointless because he's almost exactly like Legolas. Promos are perfect for these two characters, because they might not be considered unique enough for a retail release. It might be the only way they get made. In other franchises you see this problem with abilities too. I don't know a lot about Scooby-Doo, but it seems like Daphne (and for that matter, Fred and Velma too) would only have Illumination and Tracking, which makes them all carbon copies of Shaggy. I wonder why they didn't just make them all playable as part of Shaggy like the Ghostbusters and the Doctor reincarnations. And as much as I want Eowyn, especially since she never even got a minifig, what abilities would she have? The only one I can think of is Stealth with a Rohirrim disguise similar to Scooby's disguise. I'll get to Simpsons below. Simpsons is complicated. Because simply, the characters don't do a lot of things in the show that translate well to unique abilities. This is part of why I think Lisa, Marge, and Maggie were not made. Not because they wanted to focus on male characters, they just couldn't justify those three. My guess for if they actually came out would be: Lisa: Sonar Smash with saxophone, Mini Access, and maybe Technology. Marge: can't think of anything. Honestly. I have the list in front of me and none of them seem to fit Marge. Maggie: she's literally a baby. I don't know what people are expecting from having her playable. Mini Access. Lisa seems like the only one of the three that could realistically happen. And even then, we run into another problem. No voices. The only VA they could get clips from was Dan Castenella, which I think was a big factor in why Krusty was made. Dan doesn't voice any of those three, so they'd be silent. And Bart is already one of my least favorites because of this, we don't need any more silent characters. I'm surprised they didn't announce this at E3 along with Nexo Knights. After Ninjago and Chima, those two would be the next logical steps for original Lego themes.
  23. Great MOC! The use of the SW Planet is genius!
  24. That new set looks great! Definitely the best Spidey yet.
  25. These all are hilariously awful. But I my favorite on there is where they just literally put the Attack on Hoth D2C there with the official description. Shots fired!
