  1. Yes. With plain minifigs, it still would be a Hook and Ladder 8 D2C. I would still buy it, and then modify the inside to look like the Ghostbusters Firehouse.
  2. Ghostbusters HQ. Ghostbusters is a classic. People will always want it. Plus it's minifig scaled. And it fits in with the Modulars, which are extremely popular.
  3. Have to say, I'm not looking forward to the reboot but the set looks nice. Opening doors, room for all four, new equipment, printed GB bike piece, and those new hair pieces! Only parts I don't like are Melissa McCarthy's faces and Leslie Jones' alt face, they seem a little too exaggerated.
  4. It's bad enough that the Wii U version won't get DLC, but they can't get Finn either? Now I have two options: buy the Special Edition, sell everything except the fig, and buy the Wii U version; or buy the fig by himself for ridiculous aftermarket prices and wait till the Wii U version hits $15 on Amazon like Lego Batman 3 did.
  5. Personal opinions on all of these: F7A Hornet: I think if this was an original idea and not from a video game, it would pass no doubt. It still has a good chance IMO. I'd buy one, it would look good next to the Exo Suit. Brickbuilt Adventure Time figures: I don't know anything about the show. I've heard it's pretty popular though. No doubt lots of fans would buy the set, but Lego might want to do traditional sets with minifigs for this one. Caterham Super Seven: No. It's too big. Plus Lego already has a big car set out right now. Modular Library: Love it, but too big. Though I could see a library Modular in a couple of years. (After people forget about this project though.) Lothlorien: I would love this to death, but it's simply too big and it is from an existing (well now you could say past) license. Would be great if this showed Lego that demand is still there for Middle Earth stuff. Lego Physics: Personally I'm not very interested in this. And they'd have to make a big set to make something cool. After the Marble Maze I guess it's possible. Stay Puft Marshmallow Man: this will not pass for the same reasons as Lothlorien. Though, I hate to say this since I'm a huge fan of WetWired and what he's done, but...kinda hoping eventually Lego makes their own. Indominus Rex: Too big, existing license. Enough said. Rivendell: I feel a sense of deja vu. Little Prince: maybe. I feel like not enough people know about it to be successful.
  6. Glad that gun piece is coming back, I really like it. I gave some to Black Widow.
  7. They took away all the heads from the Kwik-E-Mart. Wouldn't be such a big deal if Snake wasn't exclusive to that set. Thankfully the Maria Hill and Nick Fury torsos are still up.
  8. I don't think Ben and Spider Woman have webbing on theirs. Just the white eyes.
  9. Using the Millennium Falcon microfighter cockpit for the mask was genius! I love this MOC!
  10. I would say Simpsons has more potential, but in its current state (no voices except Homer) the future looks bleak. Speaking of future... The realistic part of me says there's nothing else to do for BTTF, but the BTTF nerd in me desperately wants more. Lego, give me Biff, Lorraine, George, Clara, Jules, Verne, Jennifer, Einstein, Libyan Terrorist, Clock Tower Lady, Griff, Marty Junior, Seamus McFly, and Maggie McFly or I demand a refund!
  11. well said. LegoDalekbuster523, remember that Doctor Who only has one Lego set at this time. Be glad that there was a Level Pack and a Fun Pack, that's more than some other franchises got. Maybe TT will just make a straight up Lego Doctor Who game, but there's no way all those characters are coming to Dimensions. With that said... I'm really curious to see what Phase 2 will be like. I'm guessing there will be sort of a mini-Starter Pack with two or three new characters and a vehicle, like the original Starter Pack but no disk or portal. They would unlock a second storyline like how now characters in Level Packs unlock levels after you put them on the Toy Pad. (After an update where the second story is added of course.)
  12. Honestly that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the set. I was surprised to find out Lego doesn't make many taxis. Now I'll have one for him to drive around.
  13. The team who are making the Marvel sets are on a roll this year! These sets look amazing! Ghost Rider set- We finally get a Ghost Rider minifig, and he looks perfect. Love that new flame head piece. And I'm pleasantly surprised by the bike, after initial reports I thought it would be comically over sized. It's a little too big, but I think it really fits. Hobgoblin looks quite good, as well as his little glider. The street corner looks like a bigger version of the one in Karai Bike Chase from TMNT except bigger. Spidey's web piece is wonderful, but I'm disappointed that he doesn't have dual molded legs. I'm going to need to order a ton of those off of Bricks and Pieces when it goes back online. Doc Ock Mech set- I'm a sucker for mech sets. And this is no exception. I love how huge the central section is, along with those tanks on top. The arms are a little small, but they kind of fit Dr. Ock IMO. Speaking of Dr. Ock, I love the classic look he has. Along with those dual molded legs, I'll need to get another pair for Iron Fist. Happy about White Tiger, but I hope she gets ears by the time the set comes out. Likewise, Vulture is perfect except he needs that frilly collar piece. Lucky I accidentally got about three of those minifigs back in Series 8. Love the little cop boat with Captain Stacy. Spidey: love the new web piece, hate that he still has blue legs. Bride Battle: Holy crap this set is good. The bridge itself looks very good. That taxi is cute too. I needed a taxi for the Taxi Ghost from the GB Firehouse. Love love all the webbing. Nets, traditional rope webs, new webbing pieces, and classic spider webs. We get three Spideys as well. Ben Reilly has his signature hood and web shooters printed on his arms! Spider Girl looks accurate as well. Stupid normal Spidey still has blue legs. Kraven and Scorpion are great to finally have and look great too. And classic Green Goblin has finally been perfected. Love that glider too.
  14. Great list! One small thing I wanted to point out: it's Janine, not Jeanine. (for Annie Potts' character in Ghostbusters)
  15. I love these! My favorite is Scared Bart. Can't wait to see more!
  16. Gah. I was going to use a $25 Amazon gift card to get the GB Level Pack from Amazon, but it went from $22 back up to $30. Will they put it back on sale soon?
  17. This is great! I love how each minifig has their own little home.
  18. I don't know anything about Doctor Who, but this is one cool looking robot! Nice job.
  19. Just caught up with the thread. -2099 Spidey sounds awesome! Excited for White Tiger too, I was hoping the phone would finish the team. -That polybag is straight up bizarre. I need one. Or two.
  20. I think the sides are good as is. I would raise the middle by adding one light grey stud below the lever base. Also, welcome to Eurobricks Brick Moranis! I'm a huge fan of your other Lego GB stuff over on the GBFans forum.
  21. I really like the parts usage in this. The chair, the blinds, and the storage cabinet are great.
  22. Great MOC! I love how you used all of the trans color pieces.
  23. Put the blue arms back on, they look better. Keep the new legs.
  24. Jokerland, Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas, or Darkseid Invasion would all be good choices.
  25. Or they could actually offer the Curiosity Rover for sale.
