  1. Avalanche takes a remedy from the back row. "Nur, Althior can only raise enemies, I thought. He can't bring party members back to life, right?"
  2. What do the Afraid- and Slowed- effects do? Avalanche stumbles backwards, his head spinning from the after-effects of the tin can's attack. He felt woozy and almost unable to stand, his ears ringing.
  3. "Bleeding fool? I just saved your life, idiot. Do you want me to leave you down?"
  4. You can't call me bloodthirsty- I just asked the Wizard of Oz cast one question and then they attacked me! Temperamental much... Blame Sarge and Eric.
  5. Sorry. This is my fault. I did take out Skinny Joe though. Avalanche grins as he hacks the scarecrow into small pieces and spills his stuffing across the docks. Then he notices Throlar on the ground. It's my fault he's down. I should have gone for the tin can. Avalanche uses a Phoenix Essence on Throlar. "Throlar, I'd suggest attacking the werelion after I get you up."
  6. Why couldn't Throlar attack him then? He's a lower level than me so he won't deal as much damage to the enemies. Avalanche changes his attack to Loewe the Coward, still from the back row. "Throlar, why don't you keep the tin can busy?" He snarls at his opponent, "I'm surprised you haven't fled yet, Coward. Tell me, how does it feel to be a spineless worm?"
  7. Avalanche scowls, realising he's only scratched the tin can's armour with the tip of his halberd. He switches his attention to Skinny Joe, swinging the halberd at him from the back row. "Eric, maybe you could attack Tin Can here? I'm barely able to hurt him at all." OOC: If you want to I could keep on attacking Sir Tinkerman, but I'm only dealing one point of damage here so I won't be able to do much. Skinny Joe has no SP so I'll probably have more luck with him.
  8. Sarge, how did you not get the Wizard of Oz reference?
  9. "Seriously? These people are really touchy..." Avalanche levels his Bone Halberd at Sir Tinkerman from the back row, "Come on, you rusty lump of tin! Let's see what you're made of..."
  10. Having had no luck with the children, Avalanche approaches the group that Sarge is talking to. "Are you mercenaries then? Sellswords?" He hoped to alleviate the tension.
  11. Avalanche says farewell to Jaws and then leaps off the boat. He approaches the group that Sarge is talking to. "Are you mercenaries then? Sellswords?"
  12. I like the guy with the Master of Laketown face- very evil! And the purple-haired guy- I can see why Darth Vader doesn't like him!
  13. *gives a hearty applause* I feel really bad for MkJoshA, who entered all three categories and didn't win any of them.
  14. "Well, yes, it has taken some getting used to. But I haven't wandered the snowy steppes of my homeland for many years now." Avalanche's eyes darken at some old memory rushing to the fore. "As for visiting the other locations, count me out. I have no wish to converse with the undead, rather to kill them, so if that is what you propose doing, I'll come along. And I never want to so much as see a mutant again- not after what happened..." He groans and shakes his head, trying to dispel the memories. Avalanche nodded respectfully to the Captain and his first mate, then looked on in awe as the magical blue orb propelled the ship forward. "Pirates? I agree with the Nord. Let them come." His hands grip the bone halberd slung across his back.
  15. Avalanche sighed at the bickering between the soldier and the dwarf. He walked up to Nur. "Hello. I don't believe we've met before." "And I'm not too keen on visiting anywhere except the Tower and maybe Vega. I don't feel like meeting any more undead or worse yet, mutants on our travels."
  16. I thought you might be a newb townie-which was what you were- or a scum trying to blend in.
  17. I read all three Baltarok quests. My favourite by far was 89, followed by 90 and 88 in that order. I liked them on the whole.
  18. Dead and gone in Excalibur Mafia School

  19. "I think Dim Haven is our best bet, would prefer to take the Bonaparte ship since we're guaranteed a return journey. As Eric says, we'll easily be able to pass as common mercenaries- that's really what we are anyway."
  20. Thanks for having me! It was a blast. That treestump rocks.
  21. "Well, the Falconer is one of the Veterans of Heroica, and I don't think she has anything but our best interests at heart. But if you won't get on a Bonaparte ship then we should take Squidraken's ship, as we can't just leave you behind." "Those Auroras sound pretty useful then. Do you know if the Keeper is friend or foe, and is he/she aligned with the witch?"
  22. Avalanche says to Nur, "It seems that our other two present questmates wish to stop at Vega on the way to the Tower. So going the quickest way might be unpopular with the party."
  23. Avalanche arrives at a run, a sack filled with his recent purchases from the Marketplace slung over his shoulder. He looks around at the party. The other three heroes from his last quest made up half the party, but two were strangers to him: the old, one-legged soldier and the tall Evoker with the strange hat. Looks like we're in for quite a ride. He listens to the Falconer outline the mission. "Guys, by the looks of it we'll be encountering some Sirens if we travel to Port Taboo, some smugglers if we travel to Dim Haven and some sea monsters at the Wailing Wharf. I vote for Dim Haven. I'd rather take on smugglers than Sirens or sea monsters. And I think we should take The Homefinder. How do we know the other ship isn't full of Wolfgang spies? The Falconer is our employer and a Veteran of Heroica. I say we trust her." He turns to the Falconer, "I have a few questions for you. First, who is the Keeper of the Tower? Is he on our side or Baba's? Secondly, what is the Aurora Nornalis? And how will it help us on our journey? And finally, could you tell me all you know about this Emerald Emperor? Curious to know who he is."
  24. Awesome! Your builds are really good
