I'm trying to build some dwarf statues for my contest entry. But I have done much large scale character building before. Anyone have any suggestions or tutorials you'd recommend?

I finished building the Bad Batch Shuttle yesterday. It's a nice build and I love the techniques. But it does not hold up to the 3-year-old-boy test. The side panels keep falling off. And it drives me nuts that you can't hold it by the top fin! Love the figs though. My copy did NOT come with an extra Wrecker armor piece. Anyone else have that?

I would like to give a special shout-out to all the CorSec players. Four of them made it into the top 20 XP chart. @karmajay was the top Cat A player. @Jody Meyer was one of only 3 people to go for Cat B. And @jansued was the top player for Cat C! You guys have made Factions a great place. Keep up the great work!

Speculating about figures for an upcoming set is walking a fine line. Most of the time it turns into wishlisting. If you can keep it from being a wishlist then it's ok.

As expected, not a whole lot of new parts available yet. But I was happy to find these:

*Stuartn's entry has earned 9 XP (5xp, plus 1/3 of the average of all of the builds)* *Jody Meyer's entry has earned 10 XP (6xp plus 1/3 of the average of all of the builds)* *MKJoshA's entry has earned 14 XP (10xp plus 1/3 of the average of all of the builds)* The might of the Empire had been sent to Hoth. The Rebels prepared to defend their base until the transports could jump to hyperspace. They gathered their forces and mounted Tauntauns. Known for their hardiness in cold weather these creatures had been perfect for the rebels to get around the planet without drawing too much attention to themselves. (Built by @Stuartn) But against chicken walkers and AT-ATs the tauntauns had not chance. The Empire was slowly advancing on the shield and power generators. So the Rebel Alliance sent out their speeders to try to talk down the walkers. More shots: (Built by @Jody Meyer) With the shield generator destroyed, the Rebels mounted one final defense. The last of the transports was loading and the Imperial ground troops were advancing into the base. The Rebels laid down cover fire to keep the Imps at bay while the last of their forces fled the planet. (Built by @MKJoshA) These are a set of Era Builds for CorSec with IP going to Tatooine.

The city street is what really steals the show here. Thought ships are really nice re-colors of the A-Wing and Y-Wing

I like the use of earth-tone colors! Though you might want to try some color blocking next time.

Now that's an ingenious way to catch an Imperial! I like your 2x4 panel outside the door. Overall the building seems a little plain. Maybe add a sign off the side, some pipes, or even some SNOT work to mix it up.
