  1. Sure, but development and the decision to go through with production are two different things. Just saying it won't surprise me one bit if he gets another version of his ship and that Lego was told ahead of time if it happens.
  2. I have no inside knowledge, but if Lego is making a UCS Razorcrest then I'm going to predict that he gets another one in Season 3.
  3. Love that the cockpit rotates on landing. Nice work!
  4. Would not want to be on their bad side!
  5. Love that you picked a deleted scene! Great job with Luke's hat.
  6. So glad you were able to enter!
  7. It's fine to tell people to search on Instagram. Just don't link anything. You can track where a click originates from. And if EB gets associated as the place where people click from to see leaked images it'll jeopardize our relationship with the company.
  8. I for one am glad the service is still there. I hope TLG gets their act together and we get a better part selection. But for now we can still buy some parts in bulk that you can't on Bricklink because the piece hasn't been out long enough yet. That's reason enough for me to be happy that B&P is still around and not discontinued altogether.
  9. Looking forward to it! I'll see you there.
  10. Thanks for sharing! I've been looking forward to this contest
  11. I'm going to quote the rule from the Summer Joust (which inspired many elements of this contest): "Border is included in the 12x12 size limit, so if you want to include a border, the whole build still needs to fit on 12x12 studs." So if your border includes a plate or grille tile SNOT'd out from the base that needs to fit within the 12x12 limit.
  12. If you're adding a plate/tile to the edge of your 12x12 I'd say you're pushing the rule too far. If you have a plant that happens to overhang that much then you're fine. The idea is to build within that size restriction. Not to push the boundary for sake of pushing. If you post an example photo or PM it to me I can give you a better answer.
  13. Wow, and I thought Lego SW fans were passionate! Thanks for all the feedback. I just have a couple battery boxes and motors right now. I haven't done any coding before, but I'm a quick learner if I go that route. It doesn't turn me off at least. What I'm most worried about is being locked into an app. What happens if they stop support it? What if I don't want to have to use my phone? I should also say that I'm less interested in getting a car to drive and more interested in movement in general. I'm trying to expand into some Technic to 1) engage more with my kids and 2) add movement to my MOCs. From what has been shared so far sounds like I could do all that with the Power Functions instead of being tied to an app with Control +.
  14. I'm considering getting the 42129 4x4 Mercedes-Benz for the RC feature. What is everyone's opinion on the new App RC vs the old handheld remote RC?
  15. Seems to be at least a few "newer" pieces. Or did all of these come out last year? I thought some at least were from the Jan wave.
  16. @R0Sch I removed some of your pics. Then realized some where official so I put the Andor one back. Haven't seen the sandcastle Vader one on official channels yet so I'm leaving that snipped. To everyone: please be careful about posting pictures. If Lego hasn't sanctioned their release that could get us in hot water with TLG.
  17. As a reminder, please don't talk about the Obi-Wan show until others have a chance to watch the episode. I'm going to shorten the time to 1 week. Please use spoiler tags or better yet, don't talk about the newest episode for 1 week after it drops.
  18. I was at the Northbrook store.
  19. Hit jackpot here in IL! Got a bunch of new parts including the new castle torso.
  20. The legs look a little spindly, but I really like the rest of it!
  21. Maybe it's because the fake minidoll version looked so good, but this version of Taun We looks off to me. Too chubby in so many ways. Feels like a let down. But that Scythe! Wow! Lego Star Wars perfection.
  22. For this year we're going to stick with the English Alphabet.
  23. Actually the brick-built droid is supposed to count as one of the figures. So right now you have 6 figures. Since one is a brick-built droid we can count him as background MOC. Or you can remove 1 figure for your entry.
