  1. See the previous tales: Wyndor's Saga: Chapter 4 -Grevling Manor -House Raising Party -Survival -Grevling Manor Great Hall -Alistair's Forest Lair -Farmer Gyles Mill -Mitgardian Watchtower of Treacleheim -Gates of Treacleheim -Alliance at Autumn Arbor In western Mitgardia, along the coast, lies the small village of Skaaldoogh. Looking for alliances for his town of Dalig Ulv Wyndor arrived to speak with the jarl. A raiding party had just returned from an expedition into Avalonia. And while Wyndor could not condone attacks on Mitgardia's neighbors he couldn't deny that the festive spirit was contagious. The warriors of Skaaldoogh had brought back much loot from the elves. But despite the victory the blacksmiths were already hard at work preparing for the next expedition. Wyndor hoped to convince them that it should be in defense of Mitgardia against the increasing threat from the minotaurs. Some close-up shots: And a behind the scenes shot: OoC: I have been wanting to build this MOC for about 2 years now. I tried to combine a bunch of techniques that I've been working on into one massive village layout. It's built on 4 64x64 baseplates which can come apart for transport. The water and boat move and the blacksmith forge lights up. Thanks for looking!
  2. I love that GONK droid! I don't think I've ever seen one quite like it and it has such a great vibe! Your photoshop work is also impressive
  3. We are off topic guys. Let stick to talking about parts and not Lego's shipping methods.
  4. That's a lot of greebling! Very effective.
  5. Nice modifications on your TIEs!
  6. Love your carbonite block! And yes, I think the use of that piece is allowed as "overhang."
  7. Fantastic floor pattern! And your stairs match it so well.
  8. A simple but effective tree. And I love the first shot with the photo in the background.
  9. Seems like Lego is accidentally adding parts and then pulling them when they catch the oversight. That's my guess. Why would 1 or 2 random parts show up? I know it's a new system. But every other time Lego has added waves of parts. Not 1 or 2. My guess is the parts aren't being bought up but rather pulled until they get officially listed.
  10. Great to see some entries! Just a reminder that there are only 5 days left!
  11. Let's try to keep this forum for set discussion. We have a topic for Media in my signature you can use for talk about the shows.
  12. I'm wondering if the Lego pulled the helmet visors rather than scalpers buying them up. Odd that only those 2 pieces should up as new. Seems plausible that Lego pulled them until more parts are released.
  13. Yes, I came to the same conclusion myself. I've found another arrangement that is temperature controlled.
  14. Interesting. Those appear to be the only new parts so far. But that bodes well for more parts being added soon.
  15. Order limit is 2 for the US for the 501st battlepack. Got my 2 first thing this morning. Still available at the time of typing. Hope everyone can find a copy!
  16. There, fixed that for you. CorSec stands for Corellian Security
  17. As already stated, we do need to be careful about guessing here. The points made so far have been logical. But let's not devolve into wishlisting please.
  18. If it's foliage or something similar that's hanging over that'd be fine. If it's part of a base or building then you need to make it fit in the 10x10.
  19. That makes sense. I stand corrected!
  20. Do you know this for sure? Seems like Lego waited to produce anything for the BDP until after orders were placed. If that's true then KristinnK's point holds.
  21. I get that. Thor's is a good set and a solid Viking ship. It's not hard to remove the fantasy elements (and fire extinguisher!) to make it look authentic. What really makes 31132 superior is the sail and the figures.
  22. Your elephant is great, but what really stands out to me is the mushrooms on the tree trunk. I don't think I've ever seen someone do that before. And your technique works great!
  23. I'm going to need to store my collection for over a year. My parents have been kind enough to offer their shed for me to use. But, it's not the most weather proof and where they live they see temperatures ranging from -10 F/-25 C to 100 F/40 C. Has anyone stored Lego in temperatures that range from cold to hot like that before? Anything I should be aware of? What can I do to help protect my collection?
  24. Yeah, it has nice presence. Takes up the right amount of space.
