RESULTS INCLUDED: Book II- Challenge 1- The Battle for Nocturnus.
MKJoshA replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
Well I for one was hoping for more time to build-up my greenary collection as well as my green baseplates. Oh well, it'll challenge my building skills which is a good thing. -
Yes, and we hate him for it. He's become the next George Lucas.

Thanks! This was a first try for many different building styles for me. My first go at a round tower, stained-glass, and cheese-slope roof. I'm glad it all flows As for Halloween MOCs, I'm not a big collector of "scary", Monster Fighters, CMF monsters, etc. So I think it would be challenging to build anything appropriate outside of Nocturnus builds. Thanks! It took much longer than I anticipated because I kept running out of cheese slopes and having to incoporate more tiles instead!

I'd really rather they didn't make a D2C Mithas Tirith, because I want to be able to afford one. All I can say for want I would like to see is Gondor, Gondor, Gondor! I really hope there are more LOTR sets being produced over the next couple years than just what's rumored so far.

I was actually thinking the same thing... maybe we will have to fight a duel for them if Peppermint can't decide what she wants to do

I know we are in Nocturnus, but please, that's too much of a nightmare to think about! -
Yeah, can someone say "obsession"?

Reminds me of the old 8-bit theater comics. And that's a good thing!

Sorry about that! I looked around but I didn't see anything. Don't know how I missed it Thank you to everyone who answered me though! I really appreciate the response! -
Great details! The wips as vines are great, the purple spiderman piece fits well and the green swamp water is fabulous! It'd be nice if there were a top to the tower, but I understand running out of time, running out of bricks, or both.

Book II Challenge 1 (Category B): Reclaiming the Fort

Love the continuation of your story! And the way you have the brick-brickes going up into the arch piece is very nicely done. -
A long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away...), I mean here, in this galaxy, Lego made that Flash Speeder from Episode 1. See it here on Bricklink: Flash Speeder. It was before Lego started doing flesh tones for minifigures so it's pretty dated. But, at least it exists. As for sets Lego hasn't made. There is still the Naboo Starship The Naboo J-Type Cruiser Bail Organa's Speeder The Kaminoan Aiwha From the Clone Wars there is still Asajj Ventress' ship the Ginivex Class Starfighter Lego has done a number of them, but there are still all manner of Pod Racers they haven't done yet Lego could get a number of aliens in with a Senate Pod set They could make a scene from Dexter's Bar I'm sure there's lots more, but those are the ones that stand out to me. There aren't many I'd be personally interested in buying. Like many others I'm pretty much done with the Star Wars line. Depending on the price and minifigures included I might be interested in Bail's Speeder, Asajj's Starfighter, The Senate Pod, or Dexter's Bar. But again, it all depends on how much Lego charges for these premium licence sets.

RESULTS INCLUDED: Book II- Challenge 1- The Battle for Nocturnus.

All right, just barely in time is my Category C entry. I know the plot is a stretch in matching the guidelines, but I think it still fits. -
See the previous parts of the story: Wyndor's Saga Part 1. Wyndor's Saga Part 2. Category A. “All is prepared?” She asks. “Yes Lady Edea, this potion is guaranteed to brainwash even the strongest willed Mitgardia.” Varl replied. “Good,” she said, “this slave cost me enough; he had better serve his purpose well.” Lady Edea takes the potion from Varl and moves towards Natolyth. Do you know why I support the Black Spire slave? Lady Edea asks. “Your petty civil wars are no concern of mine and I refuse to be your slave!” Natolyth spat. Edea continued as though Natolyth hadn’t responded. “Even though Nocturnus is notorious for housing any who live on the fringes of the acceptable, those in authority still had to be answerable to the king. The particular religion I practice didn’t sit well with the king and Ssilyrrlith persecuted us into hiding because of it. Now, with Lord Raavage about to take control we can come out of hiding and begin to once again claim converts for The Denizens of Darkness.” Realizing he might be in bigger trouble than he imagined Natolyth asked, “And do you brainwash all your converts or do you having some other evil intention in mind?” “Oh no,” Lady Edea replied, “I wouldn’t waste my time trying to convert you. What good is a brainwashed disciple? I need you to be a surrogate spell-caster. Many of our rituals require complex spells that take their toll on the caster. I will use you to perform these rituals without personal harm to myself, at least, until you no longer posses the strength to be of any more use to me. Then you will prove useful in other matters.” “So what will you cut off of me first? My hand? My toes?” Natolyth inquired. “Now you are beginning to understand.” Lady Edea answered with a smile. “I have been capturing Mitgardians who were foolish enough to live on the border with Nocturnus for some time now. I bought you because I needed someone special for a spell that will help Lord Raavage win this war. Consider yourself, and all of your tribe converted to my needs!” OoC: I ran out of time to finish all the details on this before I had to post it. But, I will be updating it and finishing the inside to continue Wyndor's story in a later freebuild.

I am still fairly new to EB, only having been active for about a year now, and I often see members with tags. You know, those little, colorful icons underneath peoples profile pictures? Well, I've been fortunte enough to earn 1 myself already, but I was wondering, how do I earn more? Is there an index of contests that will allow you to earn a tag? A second question I have is about the "titles" (not sure if that's the correct name for it) underneath certain people's profile pictures. I've seen it for new members as well as old and I was wondering how those are given out? Does something just stand out to an admin who then gives a user a "title"? -

Last minute question. For category C, does it have to be a Nocturnus tribe being recruited or can it be some individuals from Mitgardia, for example? -
