I'm trying to make a purist version of a CorSec officer from the EU. Here are some reference pictures: ____________________ ____________________________ For the first picture, I'm wondering if this piece might work. Or do you have any suggestions for either version?

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
MKJoshA replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I generally use B&P for new or re-color parts I want in larger numbers that I cna't find on Bricklink yet. That or Minifigure parts that aren't licensed. I find it very helpful for those kinds of orders. -
I found it randomly placed with the other sets in the main Lego aisle. There was no tag on the shelf to identify it so it's possible an employee put it out when they weren't supposed to. I've heard rumors this might be a future Target promo. Using Brickseek to search for the DCPI number of 204-00-0606 showed me that most Targets in my area have it in stock now. I was at a different Target yesterday though and did not see it on the shelves. Usually a store employee can look for an item with the DCPI number and tell you where they have it or if it's in the back. Glad it helped! And thanks for the front-paging.

I first saw a picture of 40358: Bean There, Donut That on Instagram a couple days ago. So naturally I hopped on Brickseek and watched for it to come in stock at my local Target. At $20 for only 146 pieces I knew I wasn't getting the best in terms of parts/price ratio, but it looked like a neat little set so I decided to give it a chance. That and I knew my daughter would love a Dalmatian. There is a picture on Instagram that shows the box as being more cubbed with a holiday style ribbon. But if you look at the side of the box in that fake picture, you can see that the parts shown are not in this set. Most notably is the door and frame on the fake picture. As you can see from my picture below, the box has the normal retagular dimensions shared with your average set. The back of the box shows the "play" features of the set which mostly involves the barista falling asleep on the job and having to deal with the mess from the Dalmatian afterwards. Inside the box are 3 un-numbered bags and the instructions. By step 5 we've built all the little side builds and have started the base of the coffee stand. The pastry display rotates on a standard turntable piece and looks quite nice. You also can see how many printed pieces there are in this set. And of course, we get a spare of each one of the printed goodies! The end result is a cute little coffee stand much like you might find along the streets of downtown Chicago where I used to live. The inclusion of the blue bike makes me wonder if Chicago was indeed where this stand was modeled after as we have light blue Divvy Bikes all over. I doubt anyone would buy this just for the minifigures, but there is a nice selection included: The doctor/nurse/medical professional uses the new torso found in the new hospital set from this year. The barista uses the same torso as all other baristas before her, except for Larry from The Lego Movie. She shares her head with many other Town/City women populating Lego City these days. The construction worker/garbage man looks like he shares his head with the Grandpa from the CMF line, but this worker isn't as grumpy so it's a slightly different print. His torso normally shows up in Space and Airport sets but looks just as good in this context. The business man wears the same suit as Fred from The Lego Ninjago Movie. All the minifigures have back printing. Only the barista has a double sided head. The Verdict: It's a nice little set. It will fit in any city layout and even provides a decent parts pack if that's what you're going for. The minifigures have a good mix of common and rare parts and all add to the city setting. You get the somewhat rare Dalmatian and a light blue bike. At $20 you're paying a little more than average for the exclusivity of the set. But I would say it's worth it. I give it 4/5.

I'm not discounting anyone's emotions. But those emotions don't belong in this thread. There are other General Star Wars topic threads for that. -

Saw a picture on instagram of the sticker sheet for this set. Yikes! I was hoping more pieces would be printed. -
1) Once Factions officially starts you can do flash-backs with clone troopers. That might get tricky with your Bounty Hunter as he/she would have to be alive back then, but I'm sure you all will come up with some great creativity! For now it should still be Stormtroopers. 2) There are a couple of examples in the intro post, have you checked those out yet? Basically if you don't have a minifigure, just come up with a good story to go along with the build.

Fantastic work! I love the little details like your bounty hunter's normal clothes hanging off the bed and the knife stuck in the wall below the dart board. Well done!

[BH - Iakura] Years Have Not Been Kind to Mimban
MKJoshA replied to MKJoshA's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Thank you! I wish the right hand side (what we see on the left) matched up a little better, but I'm pleased overall. Glad you like it! I actually started building this for a different purpose, but it seemed fit Mimbam so I decided to use it here. -
Akra is a Kyuzo bounty hunter who prefers to be up close and personal with his contracted kills. The years after the Imperial battles on Mimban left it in sorry shape. Imperial patrols were a regular sight, but so where dirty streets. It's here that Akra had been hired to take out an Iakura. Normally he would prefer to use his vibro-knives. But with all the Imperials around a silenced sniper shot would have to suffice.

Looks good now!

Great first BH entry! However, it doesn't look like you've meet the size requirements. All BH entries should be 16x32 or larger.

Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka — Introduction and Discussion
MKJoshA replied to Brickdoctor's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Well the 2nd edition is going to launch in a month or two. So if you can hold off till then I think you will be glad you did. If your MOC just can't wait, any XP you earn from it will still carry over to 2.0. We'll be posting some teasers soon. It's going to be great! My personal excitement levels are through the roof right now -

Thank you all (well, almost all) for listening to the instructions! CC is a 2018 set and can be discussed here. But for now post all your initial thoughts/hates/loves/opinions in the CC thread until the first wave of hype dies down. -

I like the set, I just wish the price/piece ratio were more acceptable. As it is I can't justify paying that much extra per piece just for the figs. -

No offense to the Aussies here, but please stop the chatter about prices and locations for sets in Australia. There's another thread for that found here. And please hold all further CC chatter until we have more info. If you want to know what's already been said please review the last 5 pages. -
No, in fact, we'll remove that rule all together until SoNE 2.0 starts.

Royal Engineer Support for Lavalette
MKJoshA replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Tried that. But I'm tired of swimming upstream. The point of a game is to have fun, not play politics all day. I do enough of that for work and real life without needing to add that to my hobby. -
Royal Engineer Support for Lavalette
MKJoshA replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Sure you say that's fair for Corrington. But when the Sea Rats tried to do something very similar with the Prio ships in their harbor, we were hailed as the scum of the earth. Why does one nation get to be lauded for this kind of action and another villainized?
