The long awaited "Factions" game, our replace for SoNE, is almost over! To be ready for the final stages of transition we are freezing all SoNE entries. This includes all Freebuilds, BH Missions, and any other build that would earn XP. We will finish up scoring the remaining MOCs and tally things up to be ready for Factions. All existing XP will be rolling over, so if you've played SoNE for awhile it will pay off! In the mean time, please keep building! There won't be the same kind of build limits in Factions so you'll be able to post more MOCs without worrying about limits. You will also be able to earn up to 50 XP for each MOC instead of just 5. So build now and you'll be better prepared to earn tons of XP once the game launches!

It's not super fancy, but it's all I had time for after SHIPtember.

Here's my entry:

It's a time of rebuilding in Mitgardia. Homes that were destroyed by the Algus are slowly being rebuilt. Today the whole town of Dalig Ulv is having a house framing party. Teams race each other to see who can frame a house fastest. Four groups each raise 1 side of the house while some carpenters stand ready inside the structure to nail everything in place. After the main structure is in place other craftsmen will come to finish the structure to make it ready for habitation.

Maybe it's another vault re-release?

These are all rumors right now. We don't have any hard data yet so everyone, please don't clutter the thread with continuous "I wonder if..." comments.

How's everyone's Challenge 1 builds coming? I'm finishing up mine and hope to have pictures up by Thur.

Thank you for the write up. There appears to be some errors with my ships and some of the Faction ships. Most have cargo capacity but don't have any earned DBs. Was this missed during the calculations?

Stop. Both of you. If you want to have this discussion, go to the general thread. For the record, this is correct. Now, no more discussion here about canon unless it's about a specific set. Lego continues to make non-canon sets (looking at you, Freemakers). So you can have an opinion about whether a set is canon or not. But whether it is or isn't won't stop Lego from making non-canon sets.

Yeah, that totally belongs here. Now for the long wait before release.

Keep in mind that CopMike does this for free. All of us waiting on a prize would love an update, but that's no reason to bug CopMike. He'll get us info when he can. Don't ruin this for next year by making him want to quite.

Thanks. I'm not worried about replicating the picture perfectly so the hairpiece doesn't matter. I'm just trying to get the look right for the uniform. I agree that the Resistance torsos make the design better, but it doesn't have any green which I really want to incorporate.

Alright, I went ahead and ordered some torsos. What do you think looks closest to this picture?

Yes, Lego has learned to mark-up the price on pieces like that which they've learned will be in high demand when they first come out. After it starts to show up in other sets the price goes down considerably. The nexo-shield tile started at $0.90/piece for me. Now it's like $0.30. They are from the nexo-knight line.

No, all pieces in the above order were available online. I know the HP pieces have come and gone a bit already. And they are ridiculously expensive still. That's why I only got 4 of each.
