  1. Thanks for the heads up, I hope I can get one, I've been wanting that set for a while.
  2. What's that word Lego took up recently and has been using it in a storm? "Constraction figures"?
  3. Maybe we should set guidelines on what "mature behavior" means, to alleviate any confusion? I guess the guidelines we have already kind of lead us on that. Then again a suitable level of maturity differs from person to person, as TheBrickster states above. I mean the "stricter" 18+ rules is just simply ignored in cases, but then completely freeing it would open it up even more. Eurobricks has been growing constantly, and as every new season of sets rolls around, we get a new influx, which I see often over in the Bionicle forums [Hey, it's how I initially discovered EB. >.>] The best method, in my opinion is a direct PM conversation between the member and staff, discussing the problem, and if they don't change, a simple ban or suspension. I have no clue how suspension or banning works right now, and if that's how it goes. Then again, as more people know bout EB and the rate grows, it'd be awfully hard to do all that, even with all the reports I bet. =/ The more implausible and perfect way is interviewing each and every member as they register . I feel like I'm rambling, but what I'm trying to say is that we should get some guidelines on maturity, since people can take so many twists and turns on it. EDIT: Oh and I agree with what Davey said. By keeping the 18+ rule, all TFOLs enter and register at their discretion. When I signed up, I knew what I was getting into, and it seems that some people are just registering ignoring the rule completely. You got offended? Well you signed up for EB in the first place so that makes that point moot. Of course that doesn't solve the problem of the immature adults...
  4. I mean, with that stance, Bionicle doesn't look like itself from the past, which is true. Each year, we've had a different style. While the original Toa had very geometric and blocky shapes, the Toa Nuva smoothed them out and gave organic masks. towards the end we got the technological look as well as more flow. Oh and on the bendable limbs, ya'll just wish. $500 on them not being bendable.
  5. It still probably is made by an MOCer, maybe some of the employees there.
  6. It was a third party doing the animation, wasn't it? Like Tinseltown toons or something like that has done the latest Bionicle Movie and the Clutch Powers movie. Didn't see the movie, so I didn't see the credits, but I'm assuming.
  7. I like how there's been not much added or idea of what's going to happen.
  8. Ick is right. Looks like a couple of these weapons are all attached to those prebent arms... Without a symmetrical lefty/righty counterpart. ;-;
  9. Depends on what you do with them. Years ago, I just had them on display and played around with them, aka just to look cool, and that went for every set, not just the small ones. Now that I have MOC'd it's almost all for parts.
  10. Lol biotoakid, totally uncalled for. And did not see the H in their chests til now. Mind just got blown.
  11. Tell that to Primus. He's been making some nice MOCs with those pieces. Makes me want to get one.
  12. Pretty. And also pretty funny at times. I hope someone uploads it online later; I don't have cable to view it. =/
  13. You're only limiting yourself Just because it's hard doesn't mean it's impossible. Totally looking forward to those leg armor pieces. Winner.
  14. ^Top Thigh-like part. Gonna go ahead and assume there's an axle hole there.
  15. Mmm, story is better than I thought it would be. Maybe we don't see all 6 v 4 [or 5 or 6, depending on if Rotor and Von Nebula are bad guys], and see a couple of them dispatched to each villain? Naming team totally dropped the ball though. Every single time. -.- At least cutting down the characters at one point could make there be more interaction? Maybe? I hope? And a Non-fire leader. Woot. But the personalities use the same words over and over. "Competitive" appears a lot. Make these 6 fight each other in a competition against each other or something please. D: Stringer, Bulk and Surge look good, as long as Stringer and Bulk's weapons aren't as cluttered as they seem. =/ Just realized the Leg Armor could have some sexy uses in MOCs as starfighter wings or something like that Motorcycle piece.
  16. Ewwww. Looks like his weapon goes over his prebent arms. i.e. extremely hard to use piece. Feet are new, silly armor over prebent limbs are also new. But silly
  17. Ohgodno. We had enough of those in 2008. [And they sucked] Ohgodno. I doubt it, I mean, no more Bionicle labeled sets. Although we'll see MOCS of them in Stars Form. D: [-TA-]
  18. Totally sounds like Captain Planet. What's with the ruins and black hole though?
  19. Preston is what I'll name my first born son. Well that's what we have this year. Oh and hey, does Thunder have a black Thornax launcher? Or is it just the shadows? And I still think there's some sort of disk holder on the Canister sets. Like on Thunder's huge weapons, both of Meltdown's hands and both of Corroder's hands as well.
  20. Haven't you learned economics? Specialization is good. Jokes aside, I don't see what's bad about specialization. The old sets had it [unique weapons, colors, masks, builds in some cases, and other small differences]. And for the parts, well, using them in a MOC just makes it that much more impressive. :P Plus for MOCing the various parts and weapons from each set are absofrigginlutelygreat.
  21. 7569: Claws are nice. Figs are nice. Horse is nice. Skeleton is sad. 57 pieces for $10.99 is sad.
  22. I hope so. But looking closer it could just be armor over some Av-toran limb. That would suck. First word that jumped to mind was Megablocks. Lovin all the new masks. Small sets are pretty much good for their masks and weaps, waiting to see lower legs. Looks like disk launcher on Thunder? Maybe they shoot the chest parts on the small sets? One piece torsos, like Ben10 makes me sad. The canister sets will have... what, roughly 30 pieces each? >.> Thunder looks boring. Xplode and Corroder has some cool pieces. Design is kind of eh though [What's with the 4 oversized blades for Corroder? Meltdown has like no pieces, but recolored [it better be marbled like that] PM drills, tentacles, and a nice pack of 4 yellow mantax claws. Creepy Pridak face and yellow metru legs. Von Nebula is too blurry and dark. Rotor: I see Inika pads, brutaka blades and a jetpack. And minimal orange. :[ Furno Bike looks okay? Orange Bohrok shield. Mr. Blaze suffers from Crotesius's monochromeness. Dropship. So hot. Design is great, color of blue rider and yellow ship is great. Looks so goooood. And backgrounds/Overall box designs are amazing. [Especially dropship]
  23. It probably could. Just imagine it like the Rahkshi star. Change that head into a new Bohrok head meshed into one piece, with a socket. Take away axle. Done. [shudders] I'm thankful they didn't do that. >.>
  24. Dear Lego, Please be a hero and make the dropship for figs, but absolutely huge and in Technic. And make it for the figs inside all the canister sets. Bulk and Vapour are totally cool names. That is all.
  25. We've seen, what... Fuzzy thumbnails of some sets? And the possible names? And we're assuming whether we're gonna get one or not, and even more, that the story might suck? It also might be the next big epic story. It might not have a story. How can we tell anything from these pictures and names? On another note, I personally enjoyed the serials, but they did get out of hand. I lost track of the story starting around late 2007. There was a lot going on. >.>
