I don't think seven counts as countless. Also, none of those sets were terribly common/easy to obtain/popular/cheap etc.

Maybe it fries electronics? It's corrosive? I dunno.

The Mahi were perfectly buildable. Well, unless you mean they weren't buildable with exactly the right colors... or without cutting a Matoran arm slightly... =P The background characters in Hero Factory are buildable, everything is with LEGO, but they would certainly take a lot of System pieces...
-
I believe Millennia's head is just painted, like many (all?) chrome pieces. So that's why the color changed. I guess the paint boiled off... =/

Oh, oh, I qualify. Like 97% of my posts are here. =P Edit: Oh look I already have one. O_o

Just listened to the "radio". Funny. But I noticed the DJ called Stringer "Riff" at one point. Wasn't that his prototype name?
-
These new guys look very cool, I can't wait to get them all. My one problem with this series is the terrible weapon arms... but I get the feeling they'll be gone from the next batch of Heroes. LEGO wouldn't keep releasing terrible molds like that, would they? Thanks for the review and the pictures of Stormer. Man, that helmet is awesome.
-
I got Mutran and Vican for $15 USD... was that a sale?
-
Not sure, but I think I'll try for Surge and Rotor first. Then Breez, Stormer, and Meltdown. Not sure about Meltdown though.
-
If there weren't, they couldn't replicate and the species would die out. Greg's probably just gonna pull the age old "Bionicle physics" stuff. I think it would be cool if Mata Nui succeeded but instead of fixing things, the planet totally explodes and only the GBs escape to start anew elsewhere. Granted, it would require all of the characters we know and love to die, but it would be EPIC CLOSURE.
-
FINALLY. When Greg writes it slow it can be really good... and Shamad's Tale I am enjoying. None of this universe hopping or random character teleportation. This is good.
-
No, he's one of the three Heroes I plan to buy, along with Natalie and Preston. The others... do not appeal to me. And Preston's arm is a big letdown. =/ I also plan on getting Rotor and Meltdown. I'll probably end up getting a lot more than just those five... for pieces or 'cause they end up looking cooler later.
-
Just tested it: Ben 10 legs and Bionicle legs are fully compatible.
-
I agree, that's probably my favorite drawing of his. =P I kinda like Sayger's style. When he tries, that is.
-
Anyone else notice that they changed the 3 axle with stud from bley to dark tan? I gotta say, I love the new box style. Of the little guys, Mark, Preston (despite the arm/tool mold...) and Natalie look pretty cool. Von Nebula looks like he has some cool parts, build wise and piece wise, but... the overall effect is very... poor. Rotor looks soooo cool. He better never get eyes. Drop Ship and Furno Bike look alright. Dunno about the price, though... Of the larger guys, Meltdown is the only one that looks really cool to me... I'll probably end up liking the others more as time goes on... But seriously. Best. Boxart. Ever.
-
Uh... the 03 Rahkshi's arms were connected via staff as well. Or did I misinterpret? I just got this set yesterday. It's pretty good. Probably my second or third favorite Star, after Gresh and maybe Piraka.

Now that we have some at least kind of decent pics of these guys... Thunder: New color Stars feet is good... too bad it's silver. Can't tell much else, really. Except that zamors are being used once again. Not that I really mind... XPlode: He's posed so poorly I can hardly tell what the set is supposed to look like, so the only judgment I'll make is... why is his chest dark red when the rest of him is bright? Also, I see he's using the new Hero Factory torso. I guess the other villains are, too. Corroder: Again, the posing is awful. Can't tell much about this guy. He uses Avtoran limbs, though. >_< William Blaze: Ugly helmet. This is one of the little guys I'll probably skip on. Mark Surge: Lookin' good. Can't tell what's going on with the weapons, though. And after how brittle the Bohrok Kal's joints were, I am ever wary of pearl silver sockets... Drop Ship: I like. Don't see what it drops, though. =P Blaze Bike: Some cool recolors, like the orange Bitil wings. Von Nebula: With such a cool name I thought this guy would be awesome, but he looks like the worst of the bunch. I never liked that mask, not even on Hydraxon where it looked ten times better. Is it just me or do his arms look like they have no elbows? I'm crossing my fingers and hoping they just built him wrong. Though, he does look pretty otherwordly... maybe he's just supposed to be an elbowless hunchback. Interesting that they recolored the Tridax pod. Also; lots of gunmetal. Rotor: If this guy is as cool as he looks like he is now... he'll be the first I get. Lots of great recolors, including orange ankle guards, pistons (look on the back of his legs on the box... though maybe they've come in this color in a non-Bionicle line... they seem familiar), Inika shoulders and Mistika jets. I can't spot any eyes, and it'd be cool if he remained eyeless, IMO. === I like the new Bionicle logo, with the Mata Nui in the background... looks very cool. Unfortunate that it's tacked onto Hero Factory, which I wish would remain... Hero Factory. I mean, we never had SLIZER tacked onto Roborider boxes, or Roborider tacked onto Bionicle boxes. Anyone else notice the stats that are on the boxes? I can only locate them on Rotor and the smaller villains' boxes, but I'm sure they're on the others as well.
-
Because the actual scale is impossibly and ridiculously huge.
-
But only eight count. The four medium sized sets, the two titans, and the two vehicles. The others are negligible. =P
-
Those molded weapon arms are... nasty. Real nasty. Currently, I'm only interested in the little guys for their faces and feet. Rest looks... bad, even as far as them just being action figures is concerned. I'm very pleased with the look of the bigger sets, though. I hope they stay cool as we get more pics.
-
I kinda like these guys. Those feet are awesome. I wish we had pics of the other sets, too... "Hero Pod"? Makes me think that the canisters will once again have story importance. *waits for someone else to post them on BZP* ~Bunda
-
They all look black to me. Of course, I still can't tell what shades of red and yellow XPlode and Meltdown are... so it could just be the lighting. I hope not, though. And honestly, it would make sense for them to cut back on the silver in most sets, since that's now the color of Strength.
-
With Silver taken up by "Bulk", doesn't that mean we won't have much silver on the rest of the sets? Awesome.
-
These look great, actually. The small sets I am iffy on, due to the H on their chests and the terrible names, but the larger ones look really good, even though I can't tell anything about Von Nebula and Rotor due to blur. A pity the arms aren't articulated, and it doesn't look like the legs will be either. The legs still look very cool... The bodies on the little guys are so darn huge, though. I hope it's for a reason like... the brains of humans are in there, controlling the robots. Or something. Hence the awful names. Still can't figure out what the heck Jimi Stringer does. Kinda strange that there's no Water, and instead we have Strength and... Stringer. But maybe Preston can control Water as well as Ice. All the faces on these things look great... I am especially fond of Preston's and Meltdown's. Wasn't William Blaze the name we saw for the red guy earlier? 'Cause I can see the word Blaze on the Furno Bike. Actually, it just looks like they changed Blaze to Furno for the French release or something, 'cause you see both interchangeable... Anyway, it looks like Will is on the bike and Mark is on the Drop Ship, which, BTW, looks fantastic. Tan or yellow, I can't tell. I hope tan. :3 These can't come out soon enough. Edit: I just noticed that all the Heroes have different bodies, not just recolors.
