  1. thank you for the post, just2good. All the sets are above my spectations... Thank you, I will prepare my wallet for this great collection. I think I will pass only the Microfighters and droid carrier... 15 years collecting and after the 2014 winter, I though that I could pass for more sets... Now the rebels are going to bleed my wallet.
  2. Question out of topic: Does anybody knows the utility of the printed number piece? I thought it was a code for the videogame but I was wrong....
  3. I is also showed in the Lego Movie Videogame, plenty of times BTW. My daughter celebrated when she saw her set in Finnn´s box and in the game. I went to Florida 2 weeks ago, I just bought the LAST Benny´s Spaceship at Downtown Disney... I searched for it in all Orlando, and NOTHING. I had to call the Lego Store, on monday, 10am and made my reservation. At 3pm, I grab it and they told me they are gone for a long time, months perhaps
  4. It reminds me the old case of William Swanberg and his $600.000 in stolen legos... BTW, I bought from him 1 week before he faces the police.
  5. Hello I am in Florida for vacation , do you know where can I find the summer collection????
  6. wow, great set and review, much more than I spected, incredible mini figures... I am really impressed
  7. great review, thanks! I am waiting for this set since They showed the ship in hands of the father, in the end of the movie.
  8. SNOWTROOPER COMMANDER?????? BLAST!!! after 15 years collecting these sets they come with a different mini figure and with a commander??? I can´t believe that I will have to buy my 3rd AT_AT....
  9. I am very disappointed with the Dewback in the Cantina. I have the previous and was expecting the same body, more articulated than the new one. I was expecting a new head, color and printing... the rebels look great. Someone saw the Snowtroopers in the AT-AT??? The first from left has a different legs and printing.
  10. in 2005, you could buy it in the darth vader transformation, $7 at that time... I am dissapoited because 2014 is the 15th anniversary of Lego Star Wars... I was waiting for something more exclusive like Chrome Vader in the 10th...
  11. This post is an invitation for ou to show your first minifigure and his story. Dear Fellows, I present you my first mini figure. 30 years ago my Aunt, who lived in USA brought me one set of Space (in Brazil, there was not Lego on sale in Stores). I do not remember which year but I do remember its box and where I did open it. I was 4 or 5y-o (1979-1980). It was the set 452 - Mobile Ground Tracking Station. From that moment, this was obviously my favorite minifigure. He used to fight against the horrible big heads gang with a cannon in their fist (I removed the firemen (218) hands). Years later my adorable aunt gave me the second Space set, 6881 - Lunar Rocket Launcher. I had my adventurer fellow and a friend. All changed in 1986 when Lego Company opened a factory in Brazil. That Christmas my father gave me 2 amazing sets: the FX Star Patroller and the Inter-Galactic Command Base, my best Christmas ever. My relation with Lego Space lasted until the early 90´s, my Dark Age. In 1999 TIE Fighter & Y-wing brought me back. So finally I show you the bravest adventurer in my collection: My first minifigure As you can see, the helmet is broken in the chin, a predictable accident that only happened after years of use. I used to remove the air tanks during his travels, and the repetition made the head loosed. I had to attach the head to the torso with paper. Because of that, it was hard to remove the head. The head marks are consequences of it (teeth involved sometimes, of course). The torso had the printing gone in the first years. The hands still have a good clutch and broken arms appeared only in the lasts years of "service". My first minifigure and a brand new one The Hips and legs… these pieces suffered the action of time. During the lasts years of intense activity, the legs could not clutch in the vehicles anymore. My friend was loosing his Swooshability. He used to fall off from any opened vehicle. The studs did not make pressure over his tired limbs. Hands, hips and legs, front view. View of his back, note the paper on his right hip articulation. For years I had the question: to clean or not clean my friend. As you can see, he was used intensively for a long time, his scratches and dust do not denies the time. I have decided he must stay how he is. It shows me the time has passed and we cannot clean all we have been through. Also he shows me who I was and encourage me to don´t loose the virtuous human been I used to be as the time is always trying to make me forget. Framed display were he is in exposition, in my bedroom.
  12. This is my first minifigure at The Lego Movie. He is more than 30 years old and was very excited in the beggining. All that We could say at the end of the movie is that the AFOLs must go alone, at risk of crying in front of your relatives and public, AFOLs, please, go to the cinemas. It is beyond any expectations. Really.
  13. Gosh, I almost cried during the movie... It is far beyond the reviews and comments I did read along these days... It is a must see for all AFOLS

  15. hello!!! Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil thank you and merry christmas!
  16. Cookies !!!!! Printed!
  17. Hello I have a question. One of the points of Disney princesses are the dresses. How are the dresses of them?
  18. I am very excited to see the pictures of this new collection. I hope this sets disassemble my daughter´s will of hte terrible and ridiculous Monster high. If we analyse the girls toys, even a very top commercial like this one will be better than BArbies, Pollys, Strawberries and Ponys... I know that some of you are very angry with TLC, but, believe me as a parent, this is better than any other collection
  19. the problem will be the big set of the 2014 winter... must be a huge castle, cinderella maybe...
  20. Can it be "Sophia the First", a new cartoon based in the Disney junior... Anyway, I am going to bankrupt next year... 2 girls at home...
  21. Hello I did last year, so I have to tell You to do not worry about The transport itself. I just recommend that You do not declare the insurance in a low value for Your belongins. I lost few hundreds with this
  22. Sorry for this question in this topic, but were can I Maksym some MC exchange? I have plenty of the series1-5and none from the 8's....
  23. I agree with you, I have all the snow speeders (4 differents and I am thinking if the new battle of hoth worths to be added in the collection) And the first one is the bigger and very accurate for the time. Following your thoughts, the darth Vader's Tie Fighter and the Y-wing were very accurate too, I only have my reservations with the first Millenium Falcon... BTW, in the end of the 1990's, one of the rules to the Lego designers was to make sets with the best variety of bricks to be used by kids in others constructions. That is one of the reasons of the NOT SO ACCURATE design of the sets. This order finished in the 2004 crisis, leading TLG for the search of profit. Just compare the number of Technic pieces in the sets before the crisis. and of course the development of building technics by the AFOLS, spread by Mocpages and Brickshelf helped adding details in the sets.
  24. I have this one stored I dont know where... I really loved it and recognized that Boba were one of the best inifigures in that time. In the early 2000,s this Ship and the first X-wing are the more accurate sets of the "romantic era" of Lego Star Wars
