I did build my Harry Potter´s train and train engine shed this holiday with my daughters after Years... And after this news, I will leave my SW collection to buy sets for them. Again. If I have to buy a train, hope it works on 9v tracks. Hope it is HUGE. I will have to stop my SW collection anyway, so I want a VERY good reason for that.

I disagree about the cannibalism Star Wars and Space lived together for years, space police is the example I remember now. Also, with EPVII on the horizon and the GREAT expectations about it, I think is possible to have the 2 lines together

about the EP7 sets: I stopped to buy the LSW sets classics and rebels. I am buying only the Battlepacks until the release of the new sets. about the mini figures: it´s to early to know which one will be exclusive of a specific set. I believe we will have to wait until 2nd season of 2016 to discover it

Your daughter belongs to another generation, of those who started to play with regular minifigures. My daughter is 7. Got her first friends at 4yo. All her friends and herself love it. The elfes brings another perspective to their playing: the ludical element added. She will have another story and substract to add in her fantasy. TLC is really checking all the boxes for girls. My daughter and friends have a new collection to follow, the new ones still have Friends, with improved relaunched sets, hair salon is the best example.
