Annienal blocked various oncoming bottles with her shield as she tried to focus on the fight. Hearing Aldieor's command Annienal nodded her head as she moved forward and struck Mob D with her Hollowed Flagpole from the front row. "Go home, please!" She shouted at the mob. "If anything, please don't make this any harder than it already is!"

Karie stood up, looking her detractor in the eyes. "Clearly you're out of your element. Back off, before I turn you into a newt." "Well, your friend certainly isn't leaving a good first impression, now is he?" Karie responds, her question mainly targeted at "Germ". "As for what I've faced, I cleared out the entire Academy of Enlightenment from demons. There was a book demon, a water demon, door demons, a grim reaper looking fellow, a fire demon- heck, I'm more than positive I've faced off against an arch demon and lived to tell the tale, so there's that. I actually send demons back to the void, seeing as how that's the only way we know of to defeat them." Karie continued to glance occasionally at Germ, trying to get her point across of not messing with her.

OOC: I'll also note Annienal is not with the Sungold Alliance and should not have the Medal in her inventory. "That... doesn't really answer my question, but I'm going to take an educated guess and assume the Alliance is forcing the poor to work for the Bonapartes? That doesn't sound incredibly intelligent, if you want my opinion." Annienal responds, looking over her scroll. She notes the man who was speaking to her seemed to be in disdain towards her. She looked through her scroll at a quicker pace, hoping to get his gaze off of her.

Annienal smiles greedily. "Thank you, kindly, um... sir." Annienal wasn't sure what to make of the two men currently bickering. Aldieor seemed far too stubborn to get a conversation out of, and Heckz... rubbed her the wrong way. Perhaps it was the way he dressed, or perhaps it was his vanity. Needless to say, Annienal made deliberate attempts to avoid eye contact with him. She felt oddly naked in front of this new group of strangers. No Vind. No Warlen. She had seen Miderun or Bobby in ages. She heaved her breath, a visible plume of smoke rising from her mouth. Annienal watches in confusion as the various dockworkers surround the group and helplessly watches as Lane falls into the water, only to have Aldieor follow him in an attempt to save him. "Um... wh-what's going on? Does this have something to do with the current house war?" Annienal asks the rest of the group, hoping for a response. She casts her Scroll of Water Warding on herself from the back row. OOC: I assume the Hollowed Flagpole gives everyone +3 SP despite me casting a spell this turn?

Karie laughs half heartedly. "Look, I'm going to ignore what you've said if you back off. I've spent entire days sending swaths of demons back to the void. A word of advice: sit down before you fall down." "I don't believe we have. My name is Karie Alderflask-Cour. I've been around this hall for about four years now. I apologize if I came off as rude, I merely have a particular disdain for demons. So, would you mind telling me about these demons you've fought?" Karie asks, moving her chair closer to the table of the man she was speaking with.

Karie straightens her posture and brings her guitar around. "Are you sure that's in your best interests?" She begins to play a small tune, focusing her eyes on the oncoming challenger.

OOC: Pretty sure in-game market value tends to go for about 100 gold per gemstone. Annienal squints her eyes and thinks about the offer. She pulls out the Aquamarine and 100 gold. "Will, um, this suffice?"

OOC: Stats look good, with the exception that I seem to have forgotten to add my Grogmas gift to my inventory: Scroll of the Dragon's Roar (Causes Stunned and Burning-5 to the target 50/50 chance of success, costs 2 ether) Other than that, thanks for having me on board! It feels like it's been an eternity since I've been on one of your quests. Annienal lugs herself to the docks, looking tired and groggy. It had felt like forever since she had put her armour on last, it's weight bearing down on her. She had forgotten how heavy it could feel, but reminded herself that at least she was accustomed to this. She remembered the first time she put a full suit of armour on and nearly toppled over.. She noticed the strange hooded man on the docks along with Captain Lane, both of whom she promptly greeted. "Um... you said your name was Captain Lane? My name is Annienal Anavir. It's a, um, pleasure to make your acquaintances, the both of you." Annienal looked around the dock before something caught her eye. A glint of ore reflecting off the sun light. The hooded man seemed to have something on his person. Something shiny. "Um... excuse me, sir? Hi, um, I was wondering if you were willing to part with that Mythril Shard of yours."

Noticing her name on the board, Annienal quickly excuses herself, but not before noticing there was no one around her to excuse herself too. It was a moment of solitude that Annienal felt lost in, only to remember that she had a job to do. Annienal heads out of Heroica Hall. --- "So, have you actually fought a demon while with Heroica?"

Okay, so apparently I was wrong and season four is in the works. Whoops. Anyways, I'll echo sentiments being said here. "Trials of the Darksaber" was fantastic, and the one month hiatus sucks. After the hiatus we get more Mandolorian stuff in "Legacy of Mandalore", which is always fun, and that's followed up by "Through Imperial Eyes", which sounds like our friendly Rebel Fulcrum agent might be finding himself in hot water very, very soon.

I think the crew of the Ghost won't be together by the end of the series. Something is going to push this group apart, and my money's on Ezra doing something stupid/selfish. Sabine will probably begin spearheading a Mandalorian resistance, therefore meaning she can no longer be involved with the crew, Rex and Zeb are, in my mind, dead men walking at this point along with General Sato, and Kanan will probably go into seclusion. The only members of the crew left are Hera and Chopper. I can see Hera biting the dust at the Battle of Scariff, although this is coming from someone who hasn't seen Rogue One yet (I know, you can ready your throwing arms, I await your vegetables). Honestly though, I'd like to see the Ghost crew survive for the most part, if only because there's more in my mind that they can do alive, especially Ezra and Sabine, seeing how they're at an age where they could feasible still be active around the time the First Order first appears. We know after this season Rebels is over and a new show will take it's place. I'm honestly hoping for something between episodes Six and Seven, since a lot of it is uncharted waters, and there's a lot that could be done in that thirty five year time frame. Whatever happens though, from what I've heard about Rogue One, Rebels is building up to something, and it won't end well.

Karie signs up for Quest #157, and removes her name from Quest #156. "It's better than working for Lawrence..." --- Annienal writes her name under Quest #156, hoping to find some sort of employment.
-
Karie hesitantly walked up to the quest board. She examined the notice sent by the Sungold Alliance, grimacing at the entire document. She could picture Lawrence's grinning face as she looked it over. Part of her wanted to snatch it off the quest board and go on the war path. "...but it's work..." Karie Alderflask-Cour takes her time and signs up for Quest #156.

I abstain.

"The Regret... ho boy, where to begin..." Karie replies, pondering on the situation. "The Regret was one of the most vile, evil individuals I've had the displeasure of meeting. He was a Progg, a large, scorpion like creature with a twisted, warped mind. He wanted to either erase himself from existence due to what he considered millenniums of suffering, or erase all life on this planet and replace it with his own dystopia. I wound up being one of the individuals to finish him off, along with the rest of his lot. He did enough damage while he was alive. Trust me, he was one disgusting individual, and we're all better off now that he's dead."

So Annienal can now Dragon Speak? Can she shout people off of cliffs? Seriously though, this is an awesome item, that was seemingly buffed by Word of God. Thanks, Asphalt!

Karie goes to her usual table, sitting in the corner where her name had been scratched into the wood. She motions for Olivia to join her. "Anything you enjoy drinking? Wine? Beer? Ale? If it exists, this place probably has it... somehow. Needless to say, I've got a dozen and one stories I could tell you about what I've done. I've fought demons and dragons, routed out political schemes, heck, I survived the Regret and put him where he belonged, in a hole in the ground. What kind of story would you like to hear?" Karie asks. "Of course, I'm interested in hearing about yourself, as well. I'm nosy like that." "Define "interesting oddities" for me, Vind." Karie asks in a dry tone. --- Annienal looks to the quest board, noticing the update. She'd spent far too long polishing her armour and nosing about in her books studying. She was ready for more adventure. Annienal Anavar signs up for quest #155.

Karie sighed at the question asked of her. Where did she even begin? "Well, if you'd like, we have a bar upstairs. Why don't you follow me, we get the drinks flowing, and I tell you what you can expect. Sound alright?" Karie gestured to the upstairs, where most of the hall's noise was coming from.
-
Karie nodded her head, understanding where the newbie was coming from. She'd been in similar circumstance before, eerily similar circumstances, and felt somewhat obligated to helping out this potential prospect of a hero. "They'll be no need for begging. You've potentially come to the right place. I can tell you from experience that my current job pays out well enough if you're willing to get your hands a little dirty. See, you're in Heroica Hall, we're sort of a questing guild, and the door is open to everyone, for better or worse. Tell me, what is it that you do in terms of a profession? Are you a priest? A student of magic?"
-
Karie opens the door to the hall, inspecting the doors for damage. She'd been away for a few days, and decided to return before festive activities would inevitably consume her. She notices a bewildered stranger speak to herself. "Hello. Can I help you in any particular way?" Karie asked the woman. --- Annienal pondered on the man's words, curiously trying to decipher what he said. "Sent by, um... who, exactly?"

I'm currently hooked on Overwatch. If you've got any love for team based shooters, I'd recommend Overwatch. It's a bit quicker paced than TF2, even though I still adore TF2.

Karie sits down at her desk and pulls out a piece of parchment and some ink. Dabbing her quill softly into the substance, Karie begins to finely craft Grogmas letter in her chicken-scratch writing. Arthur- From one parent to another, Dragon's Hearth Talisman (When worn, the user has Diplomacy when speaking to dragons, accessory) Lind- A reminder to use your words carefully, Sealed Aeolus Bomb (Deals 105 damage to all opponents and deals the sealed effect to all opponents when used, consumable) Jinnipher- For those special nights with Gabriel , The Giant's Tickler (WP: 5, ignores SP. Greatsword) Monk Pretzel- Keep fighting the good fight, mate, Demon Repellent Olivia- An incentive not to do stupid stuff, Grating Stone --- Annienal, having just finished another book, looks outside to see the first snow. She takes out her notebook and begins writing out a letter to Father Grogmas. Vindsval- Wanderer's Blessing (Consumable. When used on a weapon, successful hits on enemies restore 1 ether to wielder, Wanderer's prefix added to the weapon) Miderun- I'd, um, like to see you again. It's, um, been a while... Greasy Sausage (+2 Max Health, consumable) Bobby- I'd, um, also like to see you again as well... but with an improved vocabulary. Book of Proper Grammar (WP: 5, has a 1/2 chance to stun the targeted enemy, Throwing Weapon)

Annienal looked curiously at the bearded man. "Um... well, I find your lack of a clear answer fascinating, and I want to figure out what you mean by that. If you were not born into this world, then how did you get here?" She pondered on the question herself, her scholarly pursuits making think about the man's claims.
-
Annienal placed her current book down in favour for her personal notebook. Grabbing her pen, she opened to the first blank page she could find and looked back at the bearded man. "My mind is, well, um, ready."
-
"Um... are you insinuating that you merely came into existence in your current state? I, um, find that hard to believe." Annienal poked into the conversation, lowering her book in order to focus on the bearded man. "Although, if you did, I'd, um like to know how you did so."
