The Last Chance Party "Yeah, sure, alright, whatever." Althior heads out and approaches the peculiar looking man. He swings back towards the prophet, his large, reptilian eyes darting about nervously. "Um... yes... I'm definitely alright... but also no... for there is something in that store that I want that has no price..." He sighs longingly, but for what, Althior didn't know. Yet. The rat squeaks contently, recognizing Throlar. The rat darts off, but returns shortly afterwards with a shiny gold coin. It holds it up to the dwarf. The East Gates Party "I see... curious... allow me to continue... I see a ship... sailing across the sea... I see a large, green humanoid, a human, and the rest are half-elves... there's not a woman among you... a see an island, a sight that's familiar to all of you... your attacked by pirates after you land, and your trek inland is peaceful. You find a golden flower, and return to the ship, handing it over to a group of painters..."

Karie hesitantly lowered her glass. The fact that royalty were stubborn enough not to even acknowledge her raising of her glass in good faith irked her. She looked the candy cane handed to her over scrupulously, twirling it through her painted fingers. "What's in these things?"

Annienal repeats her action. OOC: Super busy, super sorry.

"Heartland? I remember hearing something about it from my adoptive father. Don't remember a whole lot though." Karie set her guitar down and poured herself some more wine. She looked around the hall at the mention of it being atmospheric. "You like it? It's a little old fashioned for my tastes, but at least it serves good liquor. My name is Karie Alderflask-Cour. And yourself?" Karie raised her glass, anticipating the queen mother to toast her.

"I apologize, but for the time being I will continue to pursue this tactic, as it seems to be working well." Annienal repeats her action, attacking Brier from the front row with darkness.

Karie continued to tune her guitar next to the woman as she slams her rolling pin into the table violently. Karie scooted over a bit to avoid the alcohol as it trickled down the counter, picking up her playing again as the woman's composure settles in again. "So, you new around here?"

Noticing Reg beginning to watch her movements, Annienal attacks Briar from the front row with darkness.

Throlar makes his way to the Last Chance, passing through small crowds of undead civilians. As he wanders, the mid-noon sun dips as it sends in the afternoon. Throlar finds that he's not the only hero at the Last Chance, as from outside he can begin to see Althior deal with the Clerk. The rat from before looks to Throlar, nodding his head as he examines the dwarf. "That depends." The clerk replies in her familiar bored voice. "What can I get for you?" The Last Chance Convenience and Goods Ether Fountain (When thrown, restores 10 ether to all members of one side of combat.) Costs 40 gold. Party Bomb (Deals 20 damage to all enemies, as well as having a 1/3 chance of stunning every enemy individually. Also spreads confetti and streamers about.) Costs 65 Gold. Tonic (Restores 5 ether to the target.) Costs 15 gold. Grand Tonic (Restores 15 ether to the target.) Costs 30 gold. Remedy (Removes all negative effects from the target.) Costs 10 gold. Neutralizer (Removes all temporary effects from all allies and all opponents.) Costs 50 gold. Tiger Balm (Grants immunity to all effects - positive and negative - for one battle.) Costs 100 gold. Phoenix Essence (Revives a fallen ally with full health during a battle.) Costs 50 gold. Venom (Use on a weapon to make it cause the poisoned by 1-effect on any enemy it hits for the duration of one battle, making the poisoned enemy lose 1 health each turn. Several venoms can be used to increase the effect.) Costs 5 gold. Deadly Venom (Use on a weapon to make it cause the poisoned by 10-effect on any enemy it hits for the duration of one battle, making the poisoned enemy lose 10 health each turn. Several venoms can be used to increase the effect.) Costs 50 gold. The East Gates Party Irisa locks her door as she prepares to use her crystal ball, lighting a few incense candles along the way. "Right here. Don't worry too much. I'll try and confine whatever it is so it doesn't leap away. Remember, I need you to tell me what is incorrect about what I'm seeing through the crystal ball. It will hopefully help me pinpoint what's inside. Let us begin." Irisa closes her one eye as she holds out her hands, each on one side of the crystal ball. She seems to mutter incantations under her breath as the foundation of the building rocks and sways slightly, creaking and moaning stirring from the ancient building. "I see an alley in a large city, behind a place of worship... cradling a brown haired girl and a thuggish looking orc... both are struck down by a figure of authority... both say nothing afterwards, despite momentarily drawing breath... I see you standing over their corpse, Sorrow..."

Annienal draws her cutlass and begins to attack Reg again from the back row, this time imbuing her attack with darkness.

We've moved away from discussion about roleplaying and into stats. If you guys want to talk about the MoG and the AM, I think it'd be better suited for the General Discussion thread.

83's also quite short, taking up 24 days. Although, looking over 41, 83 has nothing on it in terms of it's brevity.

Karie slids the Paper Doll down towards Jinnipher, accepting her 20 gold.

"Alright, cool, thanks." Karie responds to Lind, clearly playing little attention to what he had to say, and gets up towards the "queen". "Clearly someone's never told him to not take candy from strangers." She says to herself in an exhausted tone. Karie makes her way over to the aging woman in red and takes a seat next to her, pulling out her guitar and begins tuning it, before speaking."Hope you don't mind if I sit here?" She says to her, smiling as she occasionally looks back to her guitar.

Karie quickly returns to the hall, handing Lind his Amethyst. "There, everyone's happy." She says with a hint of sarcasm. "Now, Lind, where exactly did you get a candy cane? It's not exactly Grogmas."

Karie walks into the Marketplace and immediately heads to Fabio's. She hands him the Fenerian Robes of the Vampire. "There's an amethyst in here that needs to be taken out. Here's fifty gold." It takes awhile, but Karie's new robes are soon returned to her with the amethyst out of it. (2302-50=2252 gold) She then makes a quick return trip to the hall, hoping she didn't take too long.

Karie hands Warlen her Etherial Cloak and 250 gold, and snags Lind's coinage. "No need to follow me, I'll be right back. Give me a minute." Karie curiously eyes Lind's candy cane as she makes her way out of the hall, noticing others with them as well. She makes nothing of it for the time being and wanders out to the Marketplace.

OOC: Robes. I want his Fenerian Robes.

"Then I'll make you a deal. I'll buy the Cloak off of Warlen and I'll un-imbue the gem for you. 60 gold, and the gem's yours. See, we all get what we want."

"Just so you know, my offer is 250 gold and my Etherial Cloak for your Fenerian Robes. And if Lind wants it, I'll double whatever he's offering." Karie replied, taking a long sip from her drink afterwards.

"That's alright." Karie eyes Warlen's Fenerian robes. "That's a nice set of robes you have there. You thinking of selling them?"

Karie catches the cash and hands Warlen the blade with a cloth covering it's edge. "Don't cut yourself, now. Anything else pique your fancy?" "Hey, bartender, a bottle of Falana Wine. It's been awhile and I know you got a bottle with my name on it!" As Karie's passed the bottle she pours herself a drink and sips away.

Karie returns to the Hall with a new haul of items for sale. She decides to move to the bar and places three new items up for sale, her Ethereal Cloak (SP: +2, Max Ether: +4, suitable for mages, clerics, necromancers, scholars and weather mages; back wear) for at least 190 gold and her Rusty Dagger (WP: 2, deals the poisoned by 10, breaks after 3 uses) at 25 gold. She also reluctantly puts her Paper Doll (immunity to hexed, accessory) up for sale at 20 gold. "Come get my swag while it's still here!"
