Fraunces replied to Brickwolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
----------------------- Nice build Brickwolf. Octan usage is nice but be alert not to make it too modern... Nice idea though -
I'd like to help as well. Not very digitally skilled but maybe if there is anything to do, let me know.

Oh WOW this is some hardcore Indiana Jones style story man!! Amazing and daring. I really like it. Secondly, oh man you did put some creativity in the build! It is just amazing to see how well it fits into the jungle vibe! I'd like to see more of these kind of builds from you! -

[SR ChIIICatB] Oleonda's First Stable
Fraunces replied to Fraunces's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks man! It was a pain to build as well haha! Yeah I know.. I saw the photos and saw the floor being empty as well. My excuse: not enough time for I was already too late on the deadline Thanks for the kind words Khorne. To be honest you are right. It was an experiment with spare bricks from my Barracuda Bay build, I tried to make it look realistic/more like the weathered look the videogame design has. Thanks for the honesty ! Thanks a lot bro! I forgot about the size completey! I reallt need to start building faster and check the rules more often , but you're a Sea Rat or not right Thanks Darnok for the compliment. While I was building this I thought of your WTC actually! I was hoping you'd not be faster with a horse-based build Right! Thanks Legonaut I always get the classic vibe because I build with my before-dark-age-brick and did not invest too much in new bricks, but I like it that way . I made these photo's quickly with a mediocre camera.. I was afraid someone would notice but you are right. I did have a couple of big blue sheets of paper for this but they all perished along the way .... But thanks for the headsup anyway. Thanks Sir Kingston! I tried to get the medieval vibe from the game and it is nice someone noticed Thanks!! Blackdeathgr you have a very sharp sight haha! I do have it and boy it is a grand majestic set... The best to this date imo. I couldn't help integrating the pig but also those beautiful lantarns! The animals need more attention I think that is why this farm-based build has some of the finest LEGO-molds in them -

While war is raging on in the interiors of the island of El Oleonda, some colonist were afraid the economy would collapse as normal life was now always in peril. Luckily for the Von Fraunces family (a side-branche of the Fraunces family) their busines thrived during the war! Skilled in training and breeding horses since many centuries, the family were on the first immigrant ship arriving on El Oleonda. In a relative short time they found out the island was full of wild-life, including a very strong and fertile type of horses. Maybe this was one of the reasons the Lotii tried to colonize the island? Anyhow, the Carnites proven to be a steady source of income and the family soon had enough money to expand the stable. More pictures under this spoiler. A civilian build, trying to replicate my inspiration for the stable: https://ageofempires.fandom.com/wiki/Stable_(Age_of_Empires_II)?file=Stableaok.png Thanks for watching & commenting!
