Yes. That someone is the owner, by the way. BS is a one man operation. He posted that once when the forum at zerostuds.com existed.

MOC Forum Regulator, Restructurement of EB
Hobbes replied to Jipay's topic in Forum Information and Help
Since EB is growing we have decided that the message boards need some restructuring. Lego2000's promotion to Regulator is the first step. Lego2000 will take care of the MOC forum by updating an index of MOCs that have been posted in the theme forums (except Pirates). He's not a full mod (so don't bother him with questions about it) but has enough powers to keep the MOC forum "tidy". This won't affect where people post MOCs! Everybody can go about posting MOCs as they did now: theme MOCs to the theme forums, "generic" MOCs to the MOC forum. Lego2000 will just update the MOC index in the MOC forum so it can be used as a "starting point" to find MOCs and thus serve its actual purpose. He might also move one or the other topic to a theme forum if he thinks it fits there better. The second step of the restructurement process will be the rearranging of the forums and categories. Don't worry, though, it won't be huge, the forums will all have the same names (more or less), they just might appear in a different order or place. The handling and "overview" are supposed to be easier and clearer. I hope we succeed in that. There won't be hard rules on what to post where, the "free spirit" of EB will not be affected by it. This place will stay the same, just look a bit differently ;-) -
Definitely mutants. Just think about what LEGO's been doing with their themes lately. They need a reason to put their shooting thingies in the sets, hence all those dragons, dinosaurs, or, in the case of AR, mutant sea life. Reminds me of the monsters of H. P. Lovecraft... A SW MOC? How boring... >:-) >:-) :-P

Short Off-Topic: Everybody can set their own board time. Go to "My Controls", on the left under "Options" you find "Board Settings". There you can change your board time. If you set your time zone chances are it's still off by an hour. I don't really know why that is yet. Just fiddle with the time zone and DST until it is correct which at the moment is the only workaround. Now back to congratulating again :-)

Happy birthday, guys! That's exactly what it is. The board calendar reads your board settings. And if you've set it to ET then, of course, you're 5 to 6 hours "behind" Europe. And the congrats threads were started by Europeans, hence the confusion ;-)

The Locomotives of the Texas State Railroad

I'm not that a big steam engine fan, but what I like about your models is that they're in classic 6wide *sweet* I've seen many steam engines on brickshelf, great models no doubt, but mere display models. Yours can actually be used in a layout without looking awkward in the curves. Good job! *y* Oh, and welcome to EB! Hope to see more of your work. Why not introduce yourself in the Community Forum ;-) I'll move this to the T&T forum... -

My wife supports me in my hobby. She "hunted" them all down and told my family and friends what I like *wub* Yep, I know that site, thanks. I just haven't had time to build it yet ;-)

Thanks again, everybody! How did you know??? 8-

Willkommen auf EB :-) I've seen your MOCs before, great to see you find your way here. You're using the same "shelf/storage system" in your LEGO room as I use for my layout "tables" ;-) Enjoy your stay! ... and don't listen to that little irish brat >:-)

Sorry to revive this old topic, but this fits here best. Here's prove TLC's nose for their dreamliner indeed is crappy (pic is link): Gallery: Lotsa decent modelled planes

Set up the tables and then (re)build the layout ;-) I said that? Actually I prefer the tables. Sure, the floor doesn't have boundaries and you're more flexible (as long as you still can step somewhere) but I have a few Divers and underwater sets that I will set up under the tables, so I kinda need the tables ;-) OK, that would take lots of tables. That's a base for quite a huge town :'-) -
Thanks everybody :'-) Time sure flies, this is my 2nd birthday on EB... 8-

I merged prateek's and dillthepill's review threads so we don't have two threads about the same thing ;-)

Today in my mail: one 4883, one 4884, and one 8416. S@H had them on an almost 50 % sale in almost all European countries *sweet*

Not quite. At least I am not complaining about the poster being bionicle but being not good. And about the magazine being kinda... thin...
-
Presentation is everything. Imagine this without the nice background ;-)

I'm not that big a SW fan but I love this sort of scenery! Very well done *y*

Not that strange, just rare. Has been discussed here once...

I received it yesterday. Not just the poster's a disappointment, somehow I felt there's nothing in the magazine itself apart from that poster. I browsed through it in 5 seconds *wacko*

Yeah, he's back "in there". The "Congrats" thread was the reason. But we'll leave it at that. No need to delve into this any further ;-)

LUGNET offers such a "service". You have to register, though. I think it's free but they ask for a small donation, the amount you can choose yourself (last I know). Here's my list for example (not complete, a few small sets are still missing) :-) -
Nothing, as long as you "behave". If you don't arouse suspicion no one will check. Both. You have to differentiate between external and internal IPs. Your external (the one you get from your ISP) is the one that registers here. If your ISP uses DHCP (i.e. your external IP changes) then yes, you show up with many IPs here. If you have a private network (i.e. more than one computer) and use DHCP for that but you have a fixed IP from your ISP that IP won't change and you'll always show up with the same IP here.
