  1. OK, then lets continue this in the other thread :-)
  2. I'll wait for the dozer, too, not just for a sale but if I buy it at all. The other sets I'll buy but I'll look for sales, too. That harvester/combine will be a nice addition to my tractor *sweet*
  3. I don't even wonder about that anymore, it's been like that for too long...
  4. Because that's "Yellow Press", they only care about (would-be) celebrities. Your examples are "just every day life"...
  5. Welcome to EB, rexcal! Indeed you made a good choice by joining this forum ;-) "Dark Ages" is simply a term used for the period of time a person isn't interested in LEGO at all (anymore). Hope that helped. Enjoy your time here :-)
  6. This has been discussed several times before. The board software reads the time of the server, and it seems that time is off. We can't do anything about that, though. So, for now you have to fiddle with your user time settings to set it right.
  7. Look who's talking: Holodoc also posted a link to casewindu's thread about his bus. The link's above the picture. That's what he was referring to...
  8. Corrected.

Could you tone it down a bit? All-caps is considered shouting and impolite. Don't do it. PS: And it's offence, not affence... :-|
  10. Thanks for the review yoda! *sweet* I already have the police boat and will get this one to accompany it. The lack of interior is disappointing but can easily be remedied. Maybe I'll put my Fire Command Craft "on" it... Overall I like it *y*
  11. Anybody seen this? Go Space :-D :-D :-D EDIT by *yoda* : I just added the pic in your post Hobbes for all the lazy people :-D :-P
  12. I actually think that's a smart idea. With LEGO's habit of just throwing stuff in the boxes bigger sticker sheets easily could get dog ears (and bigger ones sometimes do). This way they stay smooth. Great review! I expect my set in the next few days *sweet*
  13. That sure takes some flying skills from the pilot to land on that roof X-D Looks great! I like the slopes that make the window section wider with every level, that's a great idea *y* It looks a bit cramped, though, with the new City models, but that's the new scale. I like the building, something fresh and new :-)
  14. Yes, there will be an "update. Again, when our time allows...
  15. Please continue discussion in the thread Holodoc mentioned :-) @Holodoc: your link was broken, fixed it.

    snow day

    What's snow?
  17. Mentioning your hobby here or there? ;-)
  18. I like the smaller one better :-P I bought a small one in black and then found the brown kit in the Hamburg LEGO store and bought it. Now this is my "christmas train". I think it looks quite nice, even without modifications. I dunno why LEGO didn't follow up with more models. For AFOLs they might not be perfect, but they were a great start to collecting trains or add to your existing ones...

    My new town.

That one :-) Thanks for the pointer. Before I start building, though, I need to rearrange my layout tables... again... *wacko* Cool, thanks *y* *sweet*
  20. ROF... I mean, WHAT THE... ?! :-P :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Nevertheless, you know that I have to chamber you now >:-)
  21. Thanks, haven't seen them before. Funny thing, though: the official sets look so... *cough*lame*cough* next to the buildings used as background...
