  1. Stop shouting, that's impolite. If you go about it that way you won't get many people to sign this... whatever that means anyway...
  2. Hi and welcome to EB! I saw this show from a link on the ILTCO website once. Impressive layout. Thanks for the pointer, Steam Engineer :-) How about yourself, any Town or Train MOCs/models/builds you can share?
  3. Happy birthday! Have a great day, tons of cake and even more tons of the L-toy :-)
  4. Hi Aaron and welcome to EB! My collection is about as big as yours so I can relate with you money-wise ;-) Enjoy your stay.
  5. Nah, sorry, I didn't attend the MilAk, just my 8 months GWD with one cookie ;-)
  6. Yeah, yeah, I got it (and I saw your oxymoron comment, too) >:-)
  7. Just ordered 7776 The Shipwreck *sweet*
  8. This guy's ingenious when it comes to small things: Brickshelf gallery This tells the story of his visit of this year's event at Frechen with his daughter. The rest should be self-explanatory ;-) Check out the rest of his gallery (especially his Things), it's worth a look-see 8-
  9. It seems to be available at S@H Europe for EUR 19.29: 7776 on S@H The price seems to be a special price, too, and at 19.29 you pay the lowest shipping if you decide to just buy this set *sweet* Edit: Just noticed this is the 127,000th post (including deleted posts). Congrats EB *y* ;-)
  10. This isn't really on-topic, is it? Try to cut your sarcasm a bit (although I have to agree with the fig). As for SW, I don't really have a favorite, but tons of stormies lined up make quite a nice picture :-)
  11. Happy birthday to youyouyouyou, hope you get lots of those rattling presentspresentspresentspresents! *sweet*
  12. I use ebay internationally (mostly .at, .de, .com) and all work(ed) fine. Maybe it's for the same reason MSN kicks you out periodically >:-)
  13. Unfortunately those sets are mere average without the stickers. Nice model, though...
  14. Welcome to EB! It isn't, and even if it was it wouldn't be possible technically. He created his account at 8:48pm ET yesterday and obiously had forgotten about it one and a half hours later already when he posted his introduction...
  15. When looking for information for our next vacation I came across the Rocky Mountaineer and "fell in love with it" instantly ;-) I like US-style trains and because it's basically the BNSF and the Santa Fe cars in different colors I decided to give it a go and try to build it. Since I own the BNSF and SF and the colors of the RM are basic colors it should be possible even for me to come up with a decent version ;-) Unfortunately the roof piece doesn't exist in dark blue so I'll have to go with regular blue. That's really something I'm looking forward to. Won't work without bricklink, though. It's always amazing how many bricks you still need despite having 50k+ already *wacko*
  16. :-| It's getting old and annoying by now... How about we just go with the standard IPB skin? How's that look? Better? It's not only the image that needs to be changed, there's also a skin attached to it. We have one person in charge of that and he's busy at the moment and after a hard day's work just doesn't always feel like maintaining and customizing a message board. So, it will be changed, when there's time. End of discussion.
  17. Hi and welcome to EB! :-) To make it short, I like it. It has a classic look, it fits with the current scale, it uses parts from existing sets and it's a straight-forward build without fancy SNOT technique except for the front. You also thought about the little "ramp" to support the front wheels of the towed car (at least that's what I'm guessing it is). I like the round transparent-white lights, too. Makes it not too modern looking. I agree, the red doesn't fit in the front but I guessed it's just temporary. And maybe the back could be less yellow and more gray, but the design is ok. *y* Oh, yeah, doors would also be nice but that's a current design problem with City sets ;-)
  18. Damn, this is addictive... Thanks for sharing *sweet*
  19. Write in black! Patience, please, it'll be changed, when we find time.
  20. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Excellent *y*
  21. That looks like a brick-built shelf... I'm sure that auction is fake... :-P :-P :-P
  22. Thanks for the pointer, this is already being discussed here :-)
  23. Anybody seen/know this? "Please don't sue me!" :-D
  24. Stop posting pics of my sets :-D
  25. Not only this, all of his sets sold for quite a bit... a certain "coolshapiro" spent quite some money on 'em... This one I was able to get for a mere 30-something Euro, also MISB *wacko*
