  1. Cool - although a bit messy. Reminds me of "Resident Evil" ;-)
  2. I think this doesn't have to stay open...
  3. Aren't you an Exo-Force set? Cool to have a set as member. Looking forward to hearing some inside stories. How is it in those production halls? X-D :-P Welcome to EB!
  4. Huh... that blue dude can walk on water... I agree with sne, not an exciting set as such but surely interesting for pirate people to stock up their "army". I always like the soldier sets better. So, I give it a 3 for the walk-on-water dude and the nice island setting (which I've always liked with Pirates sets).
  5. Now what? Trafo or battery? That train is 9V, you don't need batteries for that. Speed Regulators (i.e. Trafo) you can find on ebay or bricklink. And this is the wrong thread to discuss this, I'll make a new one...
  6. Funny, finally the variety of City sets grows, yet I won't buy any of them: I have 2 fire stations already (6382 and 85), 4 gas stations (2 Shell, 2 Exxon), 3 garbage trucks (1 yellow, 2 red), 2 ports (6541 and 42), and 2 7823 Cargo Cranes. No room for more. And I like this cement mixer better and will try to "rebuild" it (minus the motor): (Click image for gallery) Still, it's good to see the City is growing for those coming to the best theme ever just now ;-)
  7. .at, you can set delivery to "Worldwide", though, then people from other countries will see it, too. If you put it on .at people from Germany will see it, too, and there's quite a big market for trains. Even those...
  8. What?! Where?! :-P It's rare since it's from the 1990s, but it's not one of the most sought-after sets. If it's complete and comes with instructions and box you might get something but don't set your hopes too high. Cargo trains like 4563, 64, and 65 are more popular. Here's some auctions. As you can see many want buy-it-now. For my taste they ask for too much. You could watch these auctions and then you'll see what you can expect. I'd say the success of this set strongly depends on its condition...
  9. :-D :-D :-D I'm gonna call my sister-in-law's daughter a kraken now, I'm sure she'll love it X-D
  10. I saw that on 1000steine the other day (she's a member there, too). Interesting idea and again proves the value of playmobil as source for ideas. Now only TLC/G has to go the same way ;-) Thanks for the links!
  11. Hmm... dunno which one I like more... Firstly, I like the color scheme. Period ;-) Secondly, I see them as different MOCs: The first one looks more deserted and could be a broken down, forgotten hotel in a forgotten city. No one there anymore, and those who are are dead. The second one looks more "lively", probably because there are more minifigs and an interior. It looks like part of Zombie town. OK, compared to the first the citizens technically would be dead, too, but... not really... you know what I mean. And those who are still alive are in for a treat for coming down the wrong way at the wrong time...
  12. Wow, very nice! I like the roof and the details on it. Your "inside" shot looks pretty "real", could have been a real church if it weren't for the plates on the ceiling :-P Impressive work *y*
  13. That's nuts. It's not even MISB and vital stuff is missing. Makes it look like a hoax auction... then again, there are crazy people out there *wacko*
  14. Uh... who? You know, spelling mistakes happen, but this is almost blasphemy (especially since he's a member here since recently) :-P X-D
  15. Those technical issues pointed out by 3D LEGO and hinckley are nice'n all, but in the end it comes down to this: I don't care. I am the customer that still has to pay top Dollar/Euro (more Euro than Dollar) for LEGO but I get lesser quality. Lower the prices or up the quality, I don't really care which (I prefer the latter, of course), but right now TLC/G is not delivering what we have to pay for. Period.
  16. If I didn't know better I'd say you sound like a 60 year old :-D :-D :-P
  17. I like that store, too, although it somehow has a bit of a Viking cabin touch to me...
  18. I like all those lights. Nice details on such a small set *y* I'll move this to T&T.
  19. I don't think they can explain it. But they probably could relay it to TLC/G...
  20. Not quite, they had doors back then ;-)
  21. Plumbing Hardware Dispatcher - excellent :-D :-D
  22. I like it better, too, that's why I'm gonna mod it to 6wide and leave the new one in the shelf for others ;-) You mean 6668? I have two of those, it's an exellent set! It probably wasn't remembered as a garbage truck because it didn't have the classic "garbage truck look" with that container...
  23. It never is :-) Excuses, excuses ;-)
