Hello, Here are all my trains as on 17-2-2013. From now on I will place every new train I've made here. Some of these aren't actually new. 1. my first American diesel container train. propulsion: 2 M-moters and a big batterybox. SCRAPPED 2. my second American Diesel propulsion: none, powered boxcar with train motor. 3. An German Electric engine based on an Siemens ES 64 F4 . propulsion: 9V trainmotor 4. A small shunter propulsion: 9V trainmotor 5. A bigger Diesel shunter/MOW engine Propulsion: 9V train motor Not completely satisfied about this one so comments and crtitics very much appreciated about this one (comments and critcs are alwyas welcome ) 6. German steamer (my first attempt at steam) propulsion: 2 9V motors, one in the tender and one in the first wagon I will keep this updated with new MOCs when I have them. Older pictures can be found in my photostream

A quick WIP Picture I don't have plans to move to the USA neither do I have plans to bring this layout to a convention there. (money and time) It will stay in The Netherlands for while, perhaps Germany, Belgium and the UK one day. BTW: I'm taking this layout on februari 24th to a modeling exhibition in Goes [Dutch link], I will take some pictures there.

LDD MOC : Korean Diesel trains. (1980'~1990')
UrbanErwin replied to daystar's topic in LEGO Train Tech
They look nice, do you have reference pictures it does. -
Interesting idea. are you going to build it like your other creations?

The Idea of boxcars came into my mind when i was building the red and white diesel engine, because I had to power it and there was no space in the Locomotive itself. So i decided to make a Boxcar with the powerfunctions elements. What I meant with the wrong guess is that I love steam engines but I lack of skills. (the steamer shown is mine) I hope this makes everything a bit more clear.

I can't wait to see some progress, it looks very interesting I think you meant this with your link http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=59250&st=150&hl=+bulb%20+pneumatic%20+tractor#entry1448215

Wrong guess but that might be an Idea for later, It hink I keep it this way for a while.
-
Good idea but ( yeah again) i mainly designed them for a powering function. And an American diesel with a pulling/pushing steam engine looks a bit odd to me. I've thought about it again but wheel-coverage is hard with those wheels. And it must look uniform so it will require modification of all bogies.
-
True but I don't have the space for that. And than I am again stuck with a PF-trainmotor
-
Yeah If TLC just made one axle motors.
-
What you could do is mod the locomotive to use 6L technic axles.

The first two are done. Both are orange. The first one is driven by PF. (they are shown on 9V track because I was too lazy to search for PF track.)
-
This might be interesting. It is done by Bricktrix.

Cool. Plain yet very effective en goodlooking.

Best bass solo ever
-
It is looking really good. My only change would be to stop the Ballast in the shed. Instead I would make a flat floor.
-
Thanks for all the comments One of the boxcars will be motorised and push this engine. I will build at least 3 boxcars.

This looks really usefull.
