So i was curious about new lego stores opening in my area and i found the official list of scheduled openings for 2013 on the lego site. 2013 Openings: West County Center, Des Peres, MO - Grand Opening Date: May 10 - 12 North Star Mall, San Antonio, TX Fashion Place, Murray, UT - Grand Opening Date: June 14 - 16 Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Toronto, ON Southgate Centre, Edmonton, AB Freehold Raceway Mall, Freehold, NJ - Grand Opening Date: June 21 - 23 The Westchester, White Plains, NY - Grand Opening Date: June 28 - 30 - This is being heralded as the opening of the 100th Lego Store! I wonder if they will have any special promotions going on...

Just got mine as well. They had them out on display already in the NYC store. I must say it looks great in person. Looking forward to the build sometime this weekend.

I confirmed the early VIP promotion at my local lego store last week. They said they will only have a limited amount of the sets in for the early release so make sure you act accordingly if you want to guarantee getting one. The rep i usually interact with when making purchases said they would have around 35 of them available.

Thanks for the Merge Rick! Im thinking that with the addition of the newest modular that the fire brigade must be in its last days, so to speak.

Whats up everybody. Wanted to get your thoughts on this.... I love the Modular Building line and am well aware that we are on the cusp of the release of the newest addition, the Palace Cinema. This makes me excited, for obvious reasons, but also weary because I know the impending discontinuation of the oldest still running Modular, The Fire Brigade, is near. My question is when do you think they will be retiring the Fire Brigade set? Do you think LEGO will give any notice as they sometimes do on their online shop? I am thinking about buying another to expand my current set BUT am concerned that with the release of the Cinema comes the dimise of the Fire Brigade. Thoughts?

I completely understand and respect that, Kristel. You are certainly a talented and creative artist with this lego stuff and you should give yourself a pat on the back for conceptualizing such classy mocs. Thank you for offering your assistance and if I come across something that completely stumps me i'll definitely PM you. :) You certainly have inspired me to create my own 16-wide modular town house after seeing what you've done. I used to live in a thin townhouse that would serve as the perfect guide to creating my first Modular building moc and I cant wait to get started. Ill make sure to post up pictures and stuff once its done but it could take a while lol. All the best Kristel, and keep building :)

Kristel, your Modular MOC designs are amazing. They have blown me away so much that I created an account on eurobricks just to tell you how awesome they are! Are you open to sharing the lego designer files? I would love to add a few of your buildings to my collection. Im really impressed with the use of interior elements, esp ones from the "friends" line. Well done!

im a little surprised by the design and the limo is weird but I will definitely be buying it when it becomes available. I know it will grow on me.
