  1. Very nice, I like the stream it good to see people working on HSS... Maybe I should start someday.
  2. This is incredibly detailed!
  3. A visit to Carn | Carson Haupt | Avalonia Countryside Shrine | Carson Haupt | Avalonia
  4. This is really good! I like the colors and the pump as well as the wooden sections.
  5. Very nice! The figs (especially that philosopher) are great, and the Joshua tree really makes it feel Ruadhic.
  6. Nice! The ground is a bit patchy though.
  7. Thanks! Thanks! I'm glad you think it's good.
  8. Thanks! And yes, many people trying to see the newcomers! I agree about the horses, it ended up larger than I was expecting. Thanks! Thanks! I'm glad you like them. Yes it does! Although, if we're basing GoH roughly off of the medieval period, it has always been a big part of life. I'm glad you like the wagon, and that's exactly the idea! The way you describe the Architechture is exactly what I was going for, I'm glad it translated well. And yes, it can. That's the first thing I made sure of. Thanks! I'm glad it feels like it belongs in Carn.
  9. That looks loads better! I think the green worked well on the forest scene however.
  10. Thanks! Glad you like it. Fine by me, I know I stole it to begin with! Thanks! I was inspired by different paintings I've seen where the main figure was surrounded by saints or Angels. Thanks! And don't worry I understand. I was under the impression that the rakes were just the edge of the roof. Thanks for straightening me out. Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like the details, they're always my favorite part to work in. And yeah, big and little can both be great if you utilize you parts the best you can. Thanks! That's the feel I was going for. The piece in the middle is a 1x1 round tile. The clips just clip on to the sides. Thanks! I might subtract that claim as that seems to be the general consensus.
  11. As part of a widespread campaign, the Faith has begun sending priests to all corners of the continent in order to spread their message. These priests travel in many ways, depending on the path to their destination. Some walk, some ride horses or chobos, some simply go outside, and others travel in large wagons. Thanks to the high quality roads in the more civilized parts of Kaliphlin, the man assigned to Carn was able to use on of these. Some are less than happy to see the large wagon rolling into their town... ...while others look on eagerly. A few of the city's older institutions aren't exactly thrilled about this developement. Hopefully the guards will catch on to the tension and defuse the situation. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Visit to Carn by Carson Haupt, on Flickr Here's the build without the cart, it lets you see how it's laid out a bit better. Visit to Carn by Carson Haupt, on Flickr And here's a great example of overestimating your collection! Visit to Carn by Carson Haupt, on Flickr The wagon was the first thing I built, around three months ago, and I really like it. It was based in this: http://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Volkmar-the-Grim-on-The-War-Altar-of-Sigmar although it changed considerable during construction. I was definitely channeling Gideon for this build, I hope you don't mind and I hope I didn't butcher your style! I would also like to claim the following credits: Roofing (for the grassy roofs) Life in Kaliphlin City Scene
  12. I've got a new build up, here's the link: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=101156 And another: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=101160&st=0#entry2028796
  13. Dotted across southwest Avalonia are stone shrines, built by the wandering orders in sites of beauty, need, or miracles. These shrines are ignored by the majority if Historicans traveling through, but in Burnby and a few other places, it isn't uncommon to see small offerings of flowers or gold laid on the statue bases. Due to their reputation as holy sites, many have small cemeteries nearby where the faithful can be buried. ____________________________________________________________________________________ I've had this built for quite awhile (as you can probably tell by the dust- oops), and just got around to taking pictures of it. I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out, even if it is rather simple. I'd also like to claim the fI'll owing credits: Roof rakes Countryside scene
  14. This is a great build! The under sides of the arches are great. So are the various angles on the tower. I really like the signpost as well.
  15. Nice! The backgrounds work well on all but the last build.
  16. The wooden detailing is really quite beautiful.
  17. The multicolored tree is gorgeous.
  18. I really like this! The red roof is beautiful, and the blue works well. The chickens make it seem more lifelike.
  19. I like the layered design.
  20. Very nice story and good builds! The first one is the best, but the training yard could use some more detail.
  21. Here's one I've done: Clue 060 by Carson Haupt, on Flickr
