  1. I'd like to disagree on that point. HoD/HoJ won't be close to relevant around that time. I think Belle Reve or Wayne Manor are the most likely as they are the most prominent to the 2016 movie releases. Or even the Daily Planet as a D2C set would be cool. I wouldn't mind if either of the three were made but Belle Reve is the one I am thinking might take the cake. As we'll be getting more villains for our over abundance of heroes. It'd be a great move by LEGO to do that and include Batman. I could see it working really well. As LEGO has built jails before at that price range. But it's sadly a 25% chance on my table as there are three chances at what it may be and the fourth option could be just giving the D2C set to Marvel.
  2. Idealistically, I think a $12 set might be Batman v Superman or something Lexcorp related. The $29.99 set or $39.99 set will have the Batmobile. Based on what details we know from filming. I just hope we get a D2C Belle Reve next year with "Task Force X". I would've loved to have gone full blown wishlist on BvS sets but I do think those two are the most likely based on the things we have seen. Actually, one more might be when we saw Ben Affleck in the streets saving people. I have a feeling that'll be a cool action packed sequence. We have also seen Lexcorp and Wayne Manor so those are also possibilities but I hope Wayne Manor isn't the D2C because I'd hate for them to miss out on making Suicide Squad sets. Agreed as we haven't seen much that aides to the plot other than what I had listed above (aside from the Wayne tombstones and a Superman statue.)
  3. It's not funny when the new post convergence costumes are actually crap. I liked all the costumes in the New 52 for the reasons I stated a while back. That's because they never strayed from the actual costumes and traits in the character. All the designs support diversity of the hero. All of these new ones look like the origin of the hero + something odd. There is an inevitably noticeable difference between both sources' costumes.
  4. These post Convergence costumes are hideous. I know I said a while back that I can tolerate the costumes and overlook them while reading but... Seriously? All of them look like crud! I hope we never get figs based on that. I do like that new WW costume they posted yesterday however. And the Flash looks okay too. But other than that. Please, if any of these costumes are used I'd probably just buy more of the old ones and buy the new set just without figs!
  5. *Waits patiently for John Stewart GL and Hawkgirl.* I think we're going to be getting a lot more figs before Raven. I could see them doing Wonder Girl before Raven. I really hope LEGO does some comic based stuff as the Marvel theme does so well. Since the DCCU is just now getting on board the train. (VERY late however. They wasted a lot of time between 2013-2016...) I hope this opens an opportunity to get some CW sets. I'd really enjoy those. If not I'd probably be even more welcoming to comic sets. Hopefully more diverse than JL. But that's just hoping Batman and Superman won't occupy each set one way or another.
  6. I quite like the New 52 suits. I don't see a thing wrong with them. When reading comics you really just enjoy the art and the stories. I can't remember one time when I was reading a comic and said that a character had a hideous design. That's not the point of comics, if you want the old suits read the ~1000 something comics they are in including those suits. Pre-52 and Post-52 both gave great stories and something to enjoy. I just think nagging about the suits is the dumbest thing ever. I used to dislike a few costumes when looking at some covers/art/etc. but then I realized I was being to harsh to the people who get paid to so such work. And just ended up disregarding my dislike as I read more and more. On another note, I'd like to just take a moment to praise the new Batboat set. That mixes a new style in with what I loved about the old set. Personally, DS is cool and so is Robin. The more the merrier. I'm definitely going to try and buy that set more than once.
  7. Scarlet Witch seemed to be the cheapest of all the Avengers! I got one for $6 with all of the accessories.
  8. So, I've been thinking about how large the Marvel Universe is. I obviously know it's fairly large. One thing I must say is, I love these movie sets and such. But I would like to have some more comic based sets. Now that the next waves will probably most likely be filled with movie sets. Is it possible LEGO could make subthemes of the two existing subthemes (DC and Marvel) one dedicated to movies and the other to comics. Like how Star Wars mixes up Rebels and I-VI. I think a lot more could be made from there. As I am quite iffy about some movie sets. I just think comic sets may have a bit more well, imagination? It's debate able and could probably use it's own forum but, would anyone like a resolve like this or some sort of compromise or am I the black sheep of this merry crew?
  9. Awh man, both of them look so nice! Great work! Jealous of that Arsenal combo.
  10. I still have yet to get the winter sets but finally got some money to spend on something other than headphones that always break (curse you Sony!) Anyways, I'm planning on getting the Green Lantern, Black Manta, and Gorilla Grodd set. I really like how they all look. Personally I don't watch any reviews to spoil any sets but on these forums I've heard good and bad about both. Hopefully I'm buying the right stuff!
  11. Captain Panaka's face in the new Lightspeeder set would serve as a useful head for Black Adam.
  12. The Baron. Nothing good IMO, the torso seems nifty. The head might be good for The Penguin too. And the inside of the base. A lot of people were wondering what was inside. Nothing spectacular however... Again, all these photos are from a good friend of mine.
  13. Quicksilver everyone! Thanks to my good friend Brandon. He just got the Hydra set today from Toys R Us. I'd recommend checking there for this set.
  14. It wraps around the back quite nicely. And shows on the inside of the leg. This seems pretty new for LEGO. In time it could happen. I wouldn't bet money on it but in about a year or so LEGO might be able to do it. Just in time for his appearance in the MCU. (Civil War, hopefully.) I don't mind it, personally they still are a great addition to a rather lackluster figure. It's a surprise the boots aren't in the Juniors set but rather a red hip piece. And I think a red hip piece looks rather odd with that torso. So, I'm cool with the boots.
  15. Yeah, I fixed my mistake while you were writing that not so nice comment.
  16. Easily the best figure of the wave. I'm in love with the boot printing MOULDING ( ). I don't care about anything else... This was the best thing ever. I'm planning on buying all the Spider-Man sets. Just a great assortment of figs and parts. Also purchasing the Ant-Man set which is also great. Funny to think everyone thought Hank was the villain
  17. A fantastic look at The Winter Soldier's new torso! Thanks to taobao.
  18. For those wanting to see Batzarro's face.
  19. Correct me if I'm wrong but this looks like a new Lando face, perhaps?
  20. Thanks! And I just didn't have a Thor figure and I needed one that looked good. Glad to see it turned out alright and I'll take your advice on the hair!
  21. Top Row - Bucky, Cyclops, Vision, and Sam Wilson. Middle - Ant-Man, Mockingbird, Warp, and Black Panther. Secondary Middle - Rocket Raccoon, Moon Knight, Hawkeye, Ice Man, and Nova. Front- Daredevil, Captain Marvel, Star-Lord, and Punisher. Avengers (Updated)
