  1. Hello! I"d like to show a model I made a few years ago of a cottage. It's still together, so C&C is welcome, especially on the windows. Outside shot: Rear corner; a better view of the windows: Small interior: You can see these pictures and browse others on Flickr. Thanks for looking!
  2. Hello, all! A couple of months ago, I made Harrogate's Royal Pump Room in LDD. Harrogate was built up around a spa, and the Pump Room was built to tap the water. The building has since been converted into a museum. You can read more about the building on Wikipedia. I owe the success of the tiled roof to Bram's Sphere Generator. View more on Flickr. Thank you for viewing!
  3. I listened to the music "Duel of the Fates" at the same time I read this, and the minifigure posing and the larger build definitely hold the same emotional power that the original scene had. The only concern I have is that the wall at the back of the energy barrier hallway perhaps makes it too dark to see the bright red barriers as they are in the film. That said, I really like the choice of the ridged 1x2 bricks that give the hole through the floor a certain industrial texture that would otherwise be lacking. Great build, MaceWindu!
  4. This is a great model, viracocha! It looks like it would fit into the winter village wonderfully. The little details on the building really make this look special: the wind vane, the desk on the upper floor and the bookshelves are all nice touches. I also like the recessed windows behind the tan arches.
  5. Hello, everyone! My name is jamesn. I've lurked for a long time and have finally joined EB. I'm a student in Chicago, but I live near Washington, DC. I have some old-ish MOCs to post, which I'll do soon. I've been into LEGO since I was young. The first set I can remember fondly is 7101 Lightsaber Duel. I remember pawing through catalogues long ago wishing for all of Rock Raiders and Alpha Team. My non-LEGO interests include music (both listening and playing) and cars, among other things. I'll start contributing to the discussion of LEGO here shortly!
