  1. That is very impressive. I can't wait to see the final product!
  2. This depicts the scene wonderfully! Nice Job!
  3. I really like all the details on walls, and of course the waterfall!
  4. Just got all my pre-Dark Ages legos out of storage. Let the sorting commence!
  5. Looks great! The fireplace is a nice touch.
  6. I really like how you did Saruman on his balcony, and the ents. Looks great!
  7. That looks awesome. I love the Doors. After seeing this, I might try my hand at Minas Tirith in LDD.
  8. I was actually pleasantly surprised by this set. It was bigger than I expected. But I probably wouldn't pay $80 for it though. Luckily I got it for $60 including shipping. And I don't mind a few stickers, but there were so many of them.. .
  9. I'm glad I snagged this set a couple weeks ago at $85 on eBay, since now all I see is $140 and up. I'm thinking about getting a second one.
  10. Wow, this is...Amazing! The Castle looks awesome. One of my favorite dioramas/mocs.
  11. That picture of Orthanc is definitely fake. It was somebody's MOC. I've seen that picture months ago. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/208940
  12. Even though I wasn't supposed to spend any more money on LEGO this month, I saw the Goblin King Battle on amazon for $65 and couldn't resist.
  13. Never played that game, but the building looks great, I love the floor pattern on the roofs.
  14. I'm in school for Electrical Engineering and Piano Performance, and almost done with both. I start my masters in electrical engineering this fall (or possibly this spring as some of the classes I'm taking might count towards it).
  15. I agree, just the base of the tree looks so massive, that once you actually start building it, it is going to be very impressive. I've started my Lothlorien: I'm still waiting on a few pieces from bricklink. Also, does anybody have any ideas for replacing those reddish-brown 1x3 inverted slopes, tan ones are about $5-6 dollars each on bricklink, so I'm not getting those.
  16. Has anybody even mentioned most obvious choice for a brick build with a "witching/eowyn battle"? An oliphant/mumakil like this one I found on the mocpages: or this one Just my thoughts, it might need to be a tad bit smaller than these. But it doesn't look like a set that has the witch king/eowyn battle is even going to be released this year.
  17. You combined my 2 favorite childhood things, Legos, and RCT! I really want to do a mini amusement park in real bricks, with a working roller coaster. It'll have to wait a couple years, since I am just beginning to rebuild my lego collection. These are great ideas, I love the scrambler. and power launcher. Do you know if they'd hold up well with real bricks?
  18. I will definitely be finishing up my collection of Hobbit sets, and getting the new LOTR sets. And I want to get down my old lego collection and sort it, but that's going to take a lot of work and I need to get a lot of smaller storage containers. After all of that, I have a few MOCs that I want to do, like Lothlorien.
  19. About 7 for me I think. I just got back into lego Summer 2012. Every once in a while during that time I would peruse down the lego aisle at target, or browse the internet just to see what Lego was up to, but never bought anything. And then I found out about the Lord of the Rings line, and couldn't pass it up. Unfortunately I missed some other good things while in my dark age, like some of the town modulars that are now retired. I want to get out my old collection and bring it down to school, but I already have almost no room in my apartment.
  20. Really cool! The Dart Board is a good touch and the basement.
  21. I believe it would be these pieces: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2341 Very useful. Very nice structure, I agree with Brickington that the colors are all over the place, But if you tone it down just a bit, I think it will look great!
  22. If the orcs are going to have an actual armor piece, they would have to make a new mold, which i'm not sure if they will or not. I don't think a regular breastplate would work.
  23. I just blew my lego budget for this month (and possibly next). Mines of Moria (For $50!!!) Escape from Mirkwood Spiders Barrel Escape and accidently got 3 Attack of the Wargs (on ebay). I'll just leave one in the box and resell after it's no longer in production.
