I've drifted away from my army building for a bit while I had other sets and projects I was working on. But I just added some more droids and Gungan warriors last week, and have started ordering Geonosians this morning.

Surely you are purchasing them with their blasters? :D Personally I really wish we has two Geonosian warriors in there and no zombies. Then I would be buying alot of the sets as opposed to be trying to source them individually

My local one in Alice Springs, however, I imagine that it would be across the board considering all other price decreases have been the same It certainly is making me reassess my purchase strategies. With a smaller discrepency in prices I will be eyeing off threads like this even more in the hunt for bargains

Must say I am suprised at the price of the UCS R2-D2 at S&H. $249.99 for us against the $179.99 US price. I was expecting at least $299 in comparison

Quick question, in the past did people get one figure per every $75 (or whatever the price) they spent, or just one per order? I've been holding off on the SSD and with R2 coming out that same week am debating whether or not to make two seperate orders or one big one.

As do I. I remember paying $500 or so for the Death Star from K-Mart, I sorely regret missing out on that initial error at S@H where it was $320 or so. I currently have 4 of them after importing them cheap, so the sooner Lego discontinues them the better :D People have been pillaging our local K-Mart of their older stock, and why wouldn't you when some sets are 60% off or more. I wonder how many old sets are located out the back which will find their way onto the shelves sometime in the near future! I'm still eyeing off the Harry Potter Hogwarts set for further reduction, as well as the Battle For Naboo set (one can never have enough battle droids!) They did have the Hoth Board Game for $47.25 as well, tucked away behind some of the others. It's a shame Myer did't have their sale on last weekend when I had access to a store! I would have loaded up on the Endor battlepacks
