  1. That one is a whole lot better than TLG´s. Thanks!
  2. I´ve been searching the web for an accurate yet not over-sized Buzz Droid MOC for a few days now, but as I can´t seem to find one, I´m asking here. Has anyone seen a good Buzz Droid MOC? Have you built one yourself? If so, please reply here and send me a link or post a pic. Thanks.
  3. Thank you. Yeah, I´ve been thinking of putting a "VW" decal on it, along with a chrome stripe on the hood. Thanks. Heh, mine is nicer from the front, yours is nicer from the back... I think the 45 slopes make them blend in pretty well, but I guess that´s a matter of taste as well. Thanks. Yeah, I agree the front looks a bit long on some of the pics, but it isn´t really, look at the bird´s view pic.
  4. Thank you. Yes, it´s MF scale. Thanks, you too.
  5. It´s really great! I love how you built the front with only plates and slopes. That windshield is perfect for the Beetle (same as I used), but what I love most with your one is the back. It´s incredible, as it´s authentic yet doesn´t "disturb" the build of the rest of the car. I feel that the back is the weakest spot of my Beetle, but yours is great. But you might want to replace the black 1 x 2 modified plates at the bottom of the car with bluish gray ones, and the wheels look a little out of place on an old vehicle like this. This looks partially more like a redesigned Beetle. Great work!
  6. Why, from TLG of course. At least originally... TRANSLATION: Ras , living in Gothenburg as well, took advantage of the move and stole the figs while pretending to help CM to move his stuff into the mowing moving truck. However, being a cop (well kinda ), CM didn´t want to confess his defeat, which is why he didn´t tell us the details. The "Ssh, secret..."s are still because CM is lazy.
  7. UPDATE 2010-02-17: (WIP) I have been wanting to make a VW Beetle-MOC for a long time, but I had no idea how to make it look accurate. However, I asked member and MOC Expert Ralph_S to build one too, as he is my favourite car builder, and he said yes. Excited of the thought that I might beat my fav builder in a build competition, I actually got a fair few ideas. I combined the best ones (duh), and eventually ended up with this. Time for the pics: I chromed the bumpers myself. However, the colour I used wears off if you touch it often, so it´s only good for display models. Yes, I´ve modified that piece. :blsuh: It´s the best looking solution I could find for the back. That black piece resembles the roof hatch (look at a pic of a real model). However it looks kinda out of place, so I´m thinking of replacing it with a white one. A height comparison pic with my sigfig: I consider myself pretty good at finding different solutions for steering wheel connections. I´m using a new one in this MOC: Comments and constructive criticism warmly welcome.
  8. When I made my 500th post topic, I got a reply asking if I would do the same for my 100th post as well. I was young and foolish ( ), so I answered "Yes". So, when I thought of what to build, I joked asround with the word "1000" a bit (the word, not the number). As I knew "Millennium" meant "1000", I wanted to build something with "Millennium" in it. The obvious alternative was to build a Millennium Falcon MOC, but as I soon found out I had way too few of the oieces I needed, I abandoned the project and googled "Millennium". I found a bridge called "Millennium Bridge", so I decided to build a MINI Millennium Bridge. Here´s a pic for reference: And the MOC: Yes, I know the hose should be white, but unfortunately they don´t exist in white. There are a few BL sellers who sell custom white ones, but I didn´t want to make a BL order just for that. Use the Force your imagination! The back isn´t very good-looking, as some of the techniques used is showing. However, I decided to take a pic of the back of it anyway: I know some string between the bridge and the hose should make it look a bit more accurate, but, er... I don´t have any white string... Comments and constructive criticism welcome.
  9. With all the 12-13 year olds here, you have to say that to me, just because I was the one brave enough to call you old? This is discrimination, people! Okay. Let´s form 2 teams, 1) All underage and 2) All oldies. Everyone will meet at my place and we will fight. Who do you think will win?
  10. Here´s a pic from his BrickShelf:
  11. Well, as I told him: Now it´s too late. You officially got your own design before me. You´re going to put this decal on your LAAT, right? If you do, please post a pic of it.
  12. Wonderful! Just wonderful! My favourite is the LAAT/Rep. Gunship. I´ve always liked that spaceship, it´s one of my favourites, and this really captures it´s looks! This is the best mini-scale LAAT I´ve ever seen. Is it OK if I make a copy of it? And the way you made the LAAT/c capable of carrying the AT-TE on such a small scale is really great! You´r way of using classic pieces really amaze me! You certainly deserve your "Moc Expert" tag. EDIT: Also, can we please get some close-up pics on how the LAAT´s wings are attached? Thanks. EDIT 2:Never mind, just noticed that you can click the pics...
  13. Plates with studs on both sides! Example: (Sorry for the bad quality, didn´t spend too much time on the sketch.) I´ve been wanting this piece for years. It would make SNOT so much easier, especially on small MOCs where you have very limited space. TLG should´ve maked this piece a long time ago. Seconded! We really need an inverted 1 x 1 cheese slope! So much more useful than the 1 x 2 cheese slope which TLG actually made...
  14. Nope. The lowest BL price for a MISB one is $200, so they are all expensive.
  15. We have around 10 cm of snow currently. It´s around 3 or so years since we got some "acceptable" snow in south Sweden, so I´m happy... mostly. I took some SW Diorama pics out in my garden with real snow, but when I was finished taking the pics I forgot one of the Snowtrooper figs outside. When I found out I had forgotten it, it had snowed too much to find it again... Oh well, at least it was in the garden, so I´ll probably find it, sooner or later.
  16. Wow, you´re old. I´m 16.. and a padawan, serving under and learning the ways of the Force Lego.
  17. Perfectly satisfactory? So you had the couch in the background in the upper right corner of the pic on purpose? I know how you feel. Sisters...
  18. Haha! I love it, it´s a really funny idea. Just make sure KimT won´t see this...
  19. He´s referring to Zorro...
  20. Nice! It looks really good! However, I think that you need a studio (i.e a big white paper which you can use as background). And yes, as Clone O´Patra said, the white cape does exist. It comes with Mon Mothma, and also in some of the upcoming -10 PoP sets. Last pic: "Watch out! Murder cat incoming!"
  21. Well, we can´t do that until CopMike has announced the prizes. Just imagine; -Hey, do you want to trade your "Sssh, secret..." for my "Sssh, secret..."? -Yes! I´ve always thought that "Sssh, secret..." is wayy cooler than "Sssh, secret..."!
  22. THIS year?! In two weeks? No, probably not... Don´t you mean in 2010?
  23. Thanks. Thanks, although that head looks a little too tall. However, if I can´t find one of the other Ki-Adi Mundis to a fairly reasonable price, I´ll probably go with this one. It´s definately better than a cone piece!
  24. Yesh... About as important as your "Cornflakes-I want it all" banner in your sig.
  25. Correct. Rest of the cookie goes to you. Yes, I meant Fisto, sorry. I´ve edited the post now.
