Eurobricks Event 2010 in Billund.

Useless? It´s treason, then... *triggers lightsaber* Nah, seriously though, a day with us members in a LEGOland Park can never, ever be 'useless'. Loads of fun is 100% guaranteed! -
Have you seen this cool photography method
Dennimator replied to Badsneaker's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Mmmm... Sugar.... It has a really nice effect, I have to try it out sometime. Thanks for posting this! -
Thanks. Thank you. Well, slopes just didn´t look good in this scale, and IMO it kinda fits in ´blocky´. I for myself have no problems in seeing the front as rounded. I guess that´s different for everyone. Yeah, but there isn´t really a cockpit that fits better, and the 'non-lego elements' are only stickers. Okay, I´ll post a shot with a fig as soon as I get back home. Thank you.

Nothing, nothing... Just messing with´ya. You were lucky he had 2 more bags, that´s all.

Heh, buying the Tantive IV is not even 2x that cost! Shouldn´t had let go of mine so cheap...
-
Lucky, are we?
-
Unfortunately no, it´s a mis-mold that was (and maybe still is) only in the Tantive IV set.

Wow, nice! That´s a really big area you´ve got for your lego! Welcome to EB, I´m sure you´ll enjoy your time here.

---UPDATE--- I was watching Star Wars: The Empire Stikes Back, and when I watched the Cloud City scene, I thought "hey, it would be cool to have a MF-scale Cloud Car". I don´t like the official one (who does? ), so I searched the web to see if someone had built a nice one. To my surprise I couldn´t find any decent MF-scaled ones, so I decided to build one from scratch. My first thought was; how should I build the rounded shape? I tried different solutions, and finally I settled with using lots of jumper plates (there´s over 100 of them in this MOC). It may seem a little blocky at first glance, but IMO it is the nicest solution overall. Enough talking, now to the MOC: The back was tricky, as I wanted it to have that wierd off-set shown on the 'real' one. I used a 4 x 4 dish connected to a 1 x 4 plate in order to get the off-set: A pic of a 'real' one for comparison (note the off-set in the back): The cockpit: (Sorry for the blurry pics) It can seat a minifig, but as I don´t have any where I am now, I couldn´t take a pic with a minifig in it. The Brickshelf Gallery (when moderated). Feedback and constructive criticism welcome.

Can't we ask Lego to have this customize choice ?
Dennimator replied to angel1802's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I wouldn´t mind employees giving away such business cards! But as Omicron said, there are a few brick engravers who probably could do such a fig for you. -
Oh, ok. Thanks anyway. Anyone else?
-
Er, random bags kinda taken already sorry..
-
I´d like to buy all the 'random' bags. Seems like you´ll send afew packages to Sweden.. How do you want me to pay? Through PayPal? PM me about the details.

'Mint in Sealed Box' (MISB) means that the box is still sealed. If the box is opened but the contents are still in their plastic bags, it´s MIB (Mint in Box). No matter how crushed the box is, as long as it´s sealed, it´s MISB...
-
Oh.. Okay, sorry. I won´t use it then.
-
Yeah, but they´re still "members", right? Banned members have a number, too.. It´s wierd that the counter doesn´t count banned members.

Okay, so this is a little off-topic, but I couldn´t find a better forum to write this question in (I don´t want to start a new topic just for a single question) and as this topic is for questions anyway, here we go: Is there a way to make the bold and *insert a colour here* "standard" when posting (so that you don´t have to click the B and the A (for colour) every time you post? It would be useful so that you don´t have to think of it every single time I post. Like JCC1004 for instance: He always has bold green text, so does he just add it on every single post? I would like bold blue (as in this and my most recent posts), and would like to know if I can get it without adding it to each post individually. Now don´t call me lazy, I´m just asking. Thanks.

Wait, wait.. How is that possible? My friend is member #9191...
-
I should be included in that category... Welcome, my friend! (Sorry, I forgot to post it earlier...) Jag måste prata med dig imorgon om ett speciellt PM... Oroa dig inte, jag ska berätta allt så att inget ska hända.

To qoute a well known Simpsons character: Excellent! Or, in his workshop? (Just kidding, Jamie. ) -
Oh, okay. You should try describing the details (like I for example described how the plastic bags was "melted together" or glued, how the box smelled like super-glue (they usually don´t) etc. Also, just add the description, no parts in the "bag". Otherwise I think they will just ignore the Fox order the way I mentioned in my last post.
-
Good that they solved the problem for you too. Sure. I hope they are prepared with a "if THE day comes..." sign for their employees, because I´m calling the FBI... I´m pretty sure they have some employees who go through every order, and just ignores the suspicious ones. However yes, some might slip through. It can´t be massive though, and I hope it never will, otherwise they maybe have no option but to close the Customer Service off..

Okay, thank you.

Yes. That has been TLG´s initial plan. Slowly, the amount of flick-fires in sets will increase. When the day when you see a "Flick Fire Missile Battle Pack" (Contains:300 pieces, which makes 100 Flick-Fires), beware, because then armageddon the day when TLG unleashes their secret weapon is near! When we go to Billund in order to try to destroy the 'weapon', they will say; "I believe you have been tricked. Oh, and I´m afraid the battlestation secret weapon will be fully operational when your friends arrive! *insert Sidious emoticon here* The secret weapon will be a "Flick Fire fastener" which will be the content of ALL lego sets. As soon as you open it, it will turn one or some of your body parts into huge flick.fire missile launchers (with huge, non-LEGO compatible pieces )!!! You may say I´m crazy, you may execute me because of this, but remember, that´s what they did to Jesus! Who was right back then? And who will have right this time? OKAAAAY, on topic... Yes, I´m extremely addicted to Eurobricks. Want proof? Just read this post again... (Off topic again, I hope I won´t get a huge flick-fire in my pants... )
