Recently I saw a pic on some custom chromed rims. They looked really like TLG´s chrome silver, and I wonder, is there anywhere I can get this paint? What kind of paint is it (spray etc)? The pic (sorry, I dunno how to post direct pics from FlickR) Thanks.

I got the automated e-mail, I meant that I didn´t get anything else. I´m not surprised though, as they probably are busy, especially now when Christmas is closing up.

Could anyone please do some alternate faces for (yellow) Young Obi-Wans/Lukes head, something like following: An angry face (preferably with open mouth) A happy face (smile, closed mouth) A blood-stenched face, with about the same face as the original A scared face A worried face (like if he was saying "uh-oh") A proud face Something like Cpt. Kirk´s ones, but with Luke/Y-Obi´s face. I´d really appreciate it alot.

I´m currently working on a Twin-Pod Cloud Car MOC, but tin order to build it in the right colour, I need 38 of the "Plate, modified 1 x 2 with Door Rail" piece in Red. As they haven´t been in any set so far, this is a big problem. There is a BL store which sell them, but they only have 1 in stock, and it´s $2. So I would like to paint some white plates red instead. Is this possible? Is there anywhere I can get a red colour that doesn´t wear off the bricks easily and is similiar to TLG´s red colour? Also, how do I paint them without making the bricks too thick due to the colour´s "mass"? If you know something that could help me, please respond, as I really want to build this MOC. Thanks.

I´ve mailed TLG, no response yet. I really hope they won´t just ignore the mail, even though I described it all very detailed... Well, that doesn´t mean I´ve got unlimited money, I just like the set. Besides, the TRU´s over here have their shelves full of them, plus a "pyramid" built of 7754 boxes. I did, actually. They just told me again to call or mail TLG. Yeah, that would be even worse, because even if the store actually would be able to help (unlike swedish TRUs ), the "2-week (or whatever) money-back guarantee" probably would´ve ended.

YES!!! I´ve been waiting for that 1x1 piece with 1 stud in dk gray so long (since this summer, when I found out that they were making the pieces)! I need about 500 of them, so my local store better stock up on those impulses... (..Or I´ll use BL, and don´t have to waste 15.000 SEK just on impulses. )

Nice review, and nice set. I´m surprized TLG actually included a "named" fig, as they usually don´t do this in BPs. The back of the Ice Cutter is poor. Most of us will probably MOD it to be more... well, just more. :tognue: I will probably just get 1 or 2 of this. The Snowtrooper one is way better (better figs, and kick-a$$ white speeder bike)

I think you misunderstood me. I didn´t open the bags. I saw that it was... like, strange marks on them, like they have been melted, glued or something. I think he cut off the side of the box or something, as it was no problem opening the box. The seals etc was still intact.

Well, I bought a second 7754 Home One Mon Calamari Cruiser set in my local TRU (they were on sale for 1300 SEK), but to my horror, when I opened the box, none of the figs were in the bags! IT looked like someone had stolen the figs out of the bags, and then somehow sealed them again. I went back to the TRU with the set, but they didn´t believe me. They probably thought I had taken the figs myself, so they said "Sorry, we can´t help you", and that was the end of the discussion. I´m hesitating to call/e-mail TLG´s customer service, because I don´t think they will believe me either. If I send them an e-mail, they will probably ignore it. Ihave never called them before, so I don´t know how they will react if I do. I really want those minifigs, I mean, without them buying the set is a rip-off IMO, as I could sell them for over $70 on BL (quick check). I need advice / help, please...

Yeah, I´ve seen them. They are really good (much better than TLG´s, both in looks and size), but I prefer MF-sized ones. I wanted to build one which can seat a minifig too, but as it is at the moment I have to remove the legs in order to make it fit (yes, I´m building a sedan as well ). The sedan looks more "classic" IMO, and reminds me of the old "Herbie" movies I loved when I was a child. I look forward to see your model (and the one you are building at the moment too of course). I need to make a BL order for mine, as I´ve stolen parts from the Green Grocer when building the prototype ( ), so I won´t finish it for a while either.
