  1. This is all exciting, but like someone said before me, kraken attackin is a pretty weak name. and while redbeard was a great name, brickbeard is...ehh. im sure itll grow on me. i just wanna see some pics, cause right now im a little worried. i dunno
  2. the guy tied up in the flames with a scared face, what set is the head from?
  3. Moose

    What do you do?

I'm going into my third year of college for mechanical engineering
  4. I voted that i love them because i do! i remember as a kid them sticking out in the magazine because of the colors and how cool they were. the new hair pieces looked so cool that i had to have them. sadly i only had 6 figures, 4 from double 6256 Islander Catamaran and 2 from double 6246 Crocodile Cage. Crocodile cage remains one of my all time favorite sets because of the hinged roof with spears and my first ever lego crocodile! The only downside was that Kahuka was in every set (except 6246) and that the islanders were all identical (however most tribesmen look nearly identical in real life, i think). Islanders were a great addition to pirates
  5. can the magna guard heads fit on regualr minifigs?
  6. They probably were rerealsed, because i bought the x-wing with han chewy leia etc last week. i usually go to tru 2-3 times a month at the very least and they never had then up until then.
  7. I cant see whyd they have another whole line of fantasy. the castle line is already chock full of it with dragons, trolls, dwarves, elves, undead skellies etc. So i think theyd stay (mostly) with the original idea of pirates, maybe with a minor fantastic element here or there. I think Lego knows that if they stray too far from what pirates used to be, it won't be too appealing, resulting in lesser sales. And i hear mention of pirates vs ninja often. While i love pirates and i love ninjas and both lego adaptations of them, i think a lego line of pirates vs ninja would be one of the worst ideas lego could ever go through with. its just dumb
  8. I have that bag and it is indeed old. maybe not ancient, but a few years at least. My gf got me lego from the legoland cali. and it came in that bag, but that was in 2006. Anything i buy from the lego stores nowadays comes in a plane yellow bag that has the lego logo
  9. Although random characters have appeared in other comics before, these just seem too out of place. i know im probably wrong but since we havent seen the knight or pirate before, maybe there will be a new knight or other addition to the castle line along with the reintroduction of pirates. as for the aquaraider dude, maybe it means there will be new sets since many ppl have wished that that theme would continue. so maybe theres a reason for those three guys in the comic...or maybe im just reaching
  10. i read in another post however that the set of that picture (the skeleton chariot) has been cancelled
  11. Reading the thread about the possible new pirates minifigures, i saw a few ppl mention a cameo of a pirate in an indy comic. I don't remember that in any lego magazines i received, and can't seem to find any of the more recent magazines. could someone possibly post a picture of it so i can see? thanks a lot Edit by Phred & Mister Phes: Thanks to Axle and then Shoc, the pirate has been found!
  12. I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but with the arrival of the trolls/orcs does it mean that the bad guy skeletons are done? Will/are their line of sets over. If so thats not too fair, because the Crownies still have the knights and normal warriors as well as the new edition of dwarves in sets, but the only bad guys in newer sets are trolls.
  13. On july 3rd i bought 7029 skeleton ship attack at toys r us. it was marked as $65 but when it rang up it was only $55. might be too late now....
  14. Hi everyone, I'm a new member here (but a loyal viewer for months). I'm not sure if this has been posted before but here goes: My cousin was down for the fourth of july and i was building Skeleton Ship Attack. We got to talking and he offered me his entire collection of legos from when he was younger because he and his girlfriend only build the spongebob ones (weird). I've inherited both my brother and sisters collections years ago along with a few of my neighbors sets. So, I was wondering what your best Lego inheritance was? It can be a single set, a large number of sets whatever... Moose
