  1. If you see all LEGO LOTR Elf-minifigures, especially torsos/faces/weapons and accessoires for Lothlorien-elves (LotR-theme), Silvan-elves (Hobbit-theme) and other Elve-folks, than you will be thinking that you need these Tolkien-lines. The elf from the series 3 CM would be no comparison. And please forget all LEGO-dwarves and -orcs from the Castle-line. Ok, they are nice, but they are also no comparison. Tolkien-minifigures would be generally some levels "higher" (like Star Wars) as Castle- or Kingdom-minifigures. And no, the Tolkien line would not be the end of the classic Castle line. It would be the same thing like Star Wars and Mars-Mission, Space Police, NASA-Program, Alien Conquest and so forth... And LEGO-bricks? It would be a new theme associated with many really fantasie bricks for Elf- or Hobbit-houses. It would be interesting to build Rivendell or Moria with especially new bricks (allone for those buildings). At the time the LotR-buildings on MOC-pages or flickr looks like a LEGO BlackTron-assembled X-Wing Fighter with many old LEGO classic Space-bricks. Yepp, that is why the Tolkiens-license my absolutely dream LEGO license is. New bricks, finally "Fantasie-bricks", the possibilities would be endless and many many many beauty minifigures. Greetings Elander
  2. I believe Tolkiens World would be the second theme were we get Battle Packs (just see the Battle of Five Armies). I've tried to transform every possibility into LEGO-sets. (see here). -> and that is impossible, because Tolkiens Middle-Earth is endless huge. But with "The Hobbit" get LEGO a small window from these world were they can to build some sets like PotC. No, more. It's to say that just alone with the Hobbit LEGO have definitely more possibilities like PotC. But that is no secret. Alone all the minifigures would be spectacular. If they made minifigures in really orc-/ or dwarf style like here, ....ohh my god..., anyone questions? The classic castle-lines would no ending if the hobbit come out. See for example Star Wars and Mars Mission or other space-themes. So it would be too.
  3. What? Just three cannons? That is a joke. This ship have place for 10 cannons. I don't know. Three cannons without wheels... That is no good sign for the Black Pearl. Come on LEGO. If your ships get no enough cannons than need your "Pic a Brick" -Onlineshop cannons. And grey or brown cannon-wheels! Oh-man, Blödhammel!
  4. I need wheels and more cannons for the QAR (and other ships, for example Imperial Flagship). I hope we can buy this in next time on LEGOs "Pic a Brick"-onlineshop.
  5. Hi folks, I have to list all your ideas in these post. And I must say, these are a lot. Someone like Port Royal or Flying Dutchman are double, but in summery have every person shared us his own ideas. I think here have everyone a overview. Thank you for sharing and LEGO have a lot to do. @ Dr.Cogg: Flying Dutchmen, Port Royal Pirate attack, and Tortuga Tavern, now for lame ideas, Calypsos Release(sorry for the mispelling),Sao Fengs bath house and Jacks crew of Jacks @ halfpenguinhalflego: UCS Flying Dutchman and The hangmans noose at the end of the first movie (when Jack is about to be hung) @ lt.Gonville brickhead: Maybe a Brethren court or a tavern fight from the 2nd movie when norrington returns. @ Fives: Anything with Davy Jones, and maybe his heart (I've got a jar of dirt!) @ Gryphon Ink: -a high-quality version of the Governor's house from the first movie -Tia Dalma's shack mixed with some of the river exterior. An awesome, spooky set with potential for really cool accessories in the shack. -Sao Feng's bathhouse: Playability would be pretty high if they did it right, as you've got swords being launched through the floor, exploding walls and other action features. Not to mention a Chow Yun Fat minifig, which would rank right up there with Indiana Jones and the Squid Warrior in coolness. @ gotoAndLego: Imperial Flagship. Maybe even a UCSer version. @ Perfectionist: I hope to see more pearl gold, the globe will do fine for a captains cabin and the minifigs will be a very welcome variation too! @ narbilu: -Davy Jones organ room Figs: Davy Jones (with the octopus armed face, would be so cool), Will Turner, Bootstrap Bill -The Flying Dutchman Figs: Davy Jones, Bootstrap Bill, Maccus, Koleniko, Palifico The Flying Dutchman was an infamous supernatural galleon. The Dutchman was first -Edinburgh Trader Figs: Will Turner, Elisabeth Swann, Captain Bellamy, Crewman (or 2) -VooDoo Shack Figs: Jack Sparrow, Tia Dalma -Port Royal Figs: James Norrington, Mullroy, Murtogg, Elisabeth Swann, Jack Sparrow, Governer Swann (plus 1 or 2 royal navy figs) @ Elander: A prison including three captives and the incredible Dog with key. @ Blackknight112/@ joeygunns : -UCS flying dutchman = epic win!! -krakken attacking @ punkkid364: Maybe the Hai Peng (the junk used to get to Davy Jones' Locker) and something from the Brethren Court. There are too many cool pirates there (READ: KEITH RICHARDS) to not have minifigs of them. I can see TLG putting out a "Blacksmith Duel" set from the first film. @ mattb483: sets with lord cutler beckett: I would love to have them make the hms endevoar but that's a long shot.. so maybe cutler becketts office from dead mans chest or another captains cabin from at worlds end when him and jack make there deal... @ Captain Becker: -The Inteceptor for sure! -Dauntless or Endeavour @ blueandwhite: -a UCS version of the Pearl would look perfect. @ kurigan: -duel in the treasure room, or simply HMS Dauntless/Interceptor -something like a large one piece water wheel for the three way duel over Jones’ heart, or cheap Chinese plastic, the theme should do well. @ CallMePie: -Blacksmith's Shop $10 Includes Jack, Will, and donkey. Maybe some wooden structural stuff, a forge, different swords. -Port Royal Prison $20 Includes Jack, prisoner, warden, dog. 2 cells, a destructable wall in one. The chair Will gets Jack out with, and some spares furniture in the cells. -Port Royal Fort $40 Includes Jack, 2 guards, Norrington, and Elizabeth. Pretty much a re-done soldier's fort, with Jack's dingy. -Beckett's Office $10 Elizabeth, Beckett, Norrington. Letter of Marque, Jones's heart, desk, chair, big map. -Tia Dalma's Shack $20 Tia, Gibbs, Elizabeth, Barbossa, Jack the monkey. Kind of an almagamation of scenes, mostly because the jar of dirt included. -Shipwreck of Doom $30 Ship ruins on some rocks, Will, 2 crazed crewmen, Davy Jones. Falling mast? -Tortuga Tavern $50 Includes Norrington, Jack, Gibbs, Elizabeth in pirate diguise, random pirate. The bar itself, maybe a 2nd floor overlook. Bottles, cups, and goblets abound. - The Flying Dutchman $130? Includes Davy Jones, Bootstrap Bill, 3 crewmen, Will. Not much to explain. -Sao Feng's Throne Room $10 Sao Feng, Barbossa, Elizabeth. Throne, those steamer things, weapons. -Singapore $20 2 soldiers, 2 Singapore guys, Gibbs. Just a dock, with a small building and a cannon, possibly a destructable wall. -The Singapore Junk (Whatever it was called)$50 Barbossa, Will, 2-3 Singapore crewmen. Rather small, but the upper deck has a function that allows it tip slightly in either direction. -Beckett's Ship (Endevoar) $150+ Beckett, lieutenant, 3 crewmen. That huge ship at the end, lots of destructable functions. @ Runamuck: Life sized ultimate collectors Jar of Dirt!
  6. Hi, also I would say LEGO have to change it. The Black Pearl is so popular, ...here they should make a exception. But my really wishful thinking is, that LEGO put correct small wheels in correct colours for cannons into his "Pic a Brick-Onlinestore". My next wishful thinking is, that we could in this store to buy flesh hands and heads for our yellow soldiers. That would be great!
  7. This would be very beauty ships but I believe these would more to cost as 90 U.S. Dollar. These looks like the 10210 Imperial Flagship. Maybe will LEGO creating the Black Pearl in future in two versions: 1 x for 90 USD as normal playset version like LEGO Pirates Brickbeard's Bounty 1 x for 180 USD as UCS version like Imperial Flagship I think, than could it happen that we will see this Black Pearl in a real version.
  8. I believe everybody would be happy if LEGO give every minifigure in every Clone Wars set two arts of faces. -Face one: Cartoon-face like cartoon-style -Face two: Classic-face like PT- or OT-style Other possibility: -the head have two faces (like other themes). One side for our cartoon-friends. Other side for a classic-face. So have for the minifigures everybody his personally favorite face.
  9. Hi again, I've a idea concerning Far Harad. When I saw "The Return of the King" I've got by the scene "Paths of the Dead" the idea about a in dark shining elephant graveyard in Mumak-style (huge elephants). ->Here, by the movie-scene "Paths of the Dead" to appear shining houses were comes out many death soldiers. This part of the story is one of my favoriete LEGO-dreamsets (see "Hall of Fame"). Now the "Mumak Graveyard". This is for the Haradfolk a sanctuary. Why just a Royal Guard near by the entry-area sitting in a tower to keep watch. In case that the peace would be violated is near the Watchtower a beacon. The old Mumak-bones and Mumak-skulls shining in the dark (these bricks would to be made of the same material like the LEGO-ghost). Here living the old spirit of the Mumaks. Why sometimes comes a old shaman to bring gifts and prays for the death Mumakils. Summarized: Exclusive-Set (8+): 01 Mumak graveyard/ (2 Minifigures) Royal Guard with chrome black/dark red armor and dark red/golden helmet with dark blue hackle, lance and horn. Shaman with dark red robe (golden symols signed), blue/white colorfully painted face, bronze helmet with long feathers and two bones, magic wand and magical book wooden tower with banner of Harad, beacon, in dark shining bones and skulls, rocks, 2 x small Mumak stonesculptures and grove of palms Yes, I would love this set. Would this be realistic?
  10. Hmmm, ok. The Crusader-theme would be to violently. You are right, I agree. I was shocked when I saw nazis including the Indiana Jones theme. But I haven't problems concerning different religions. The killings weren't only in the name of church, it were in many names. I thinking a bit relegion would enrich some historical themes. If: -buddhistic temple or Shiva concerning Asia-theme -roman, egyptian or greek gods -Christs, Moslems or Jews ...but first have LEGO to produce a real historical theme. I can't remember that LEGO have done it. LEGO could create a real Egyptian-theme. What we will see. A Pharaoh action-theme like Indiana Jones. LEGO could create a real Asia-theme. What we will see. Ninja-Go action consening freaky skeletons and gaudy colours. LEGO could create a real Roman or Greek theme. We see Atlantis including some monsters and treasures. I think a real historical theme would be very interesting. Primarily to see if more older peoples buying these sets. Why LEGO didn't? ------------------------------------------------- Ok, back to topic. I missing the old modular style from the 80ties and 90ties. LEGO could create a city-wall system in two or three parts. -City Gate -City-wall with tower -City-wall with catapult In combination with the Market Place and some other city houses could everyone collecting these sets and building his own city. (As example like the exclusive city-houses: Green Grocer, Cafe Corner... But not so huge and expensive!) I agree with you conserning UCS Castle so huge like Death Star. With many many details and well-appointed rooms. Exclusive aristocrats, knights and ladies. No risk, no reward LEGO.
  11. Hi, sadly but true. The Queen Anne's Revenge(Sailing Ship) from the new Pirates of the Caribbean theme hasen't cannon wheels for the cannons on board. I've looked for the wheels at LEGOs "Pic a Brick Shop" and found Rim Narrow W. Hole Ø8 in white. For the cannons we need brown or grey. It would be nice if LEGO put small grey/or brown Rim Narrow-wheels into the "Pic a Brick Shop". So we can create complete cannons.
  12. Yes, this brings me to the subject of Robin Hood! But no just Robin Hood. What do you think about the complete world of the dark middle age where King Richard and the crusaders are fighting against King saladin for Jerusalem. Where Prince John to exploits England. Where Robin Hood and the Black Knight Ivanhoe fighting for law, order and peace in several fronts. Whoa, we would see soooo many characters and locations. Armies and peoples. Cities, fortresses, houses and castles. Some of my favorite locations would be: -Locksley Castle -Torquilstone the fortress of Reginald Front-de-Boeuf -The Tournament including civilians, aristocrats, juggler and knights -The Dungeons of Nottingham including Mortiannas Witch-cave -Jerusalem with awesome crusader- and saracen minifigures -The Fortress of Dürnstein, Austria (King Richards captivity) including Leopold V and Philip II of France - aaand don't forget "The Sherwood Forest" with some treehouses and forestmen. I believe these complete theme would be very realistic. Because: -the actual lion emblem does fit ideal to King Richards emblem -the POP-theme give LEGO good possibilities for Jerusalem -everybody like Robin Hood
  13. @ Jack Bricker: Absolutly right! I believe the Queen Anne's Revenge have place for 10 cannons. This ship would be a bestseller if every place have a cannon with wheels. That would be a ship including 10 cannons(!) Hello? And I believe these bricks would be not so expensive to produce. And now as your words would imply. This ship would be a bestseller (a expensive bestseller) if these would have more simple details inside this ship like doors, detailed cabin... (just see Imperial Flagship). But we talk here about "Pirates of the Caribbean" and no normal LEGO Pirates-theme. Here we have a exclusive expensive license-theme with "flash-heads" and high quality. And all fans of these license-series want to see high quality. Ok, and now also if I take a look of the Queen Anne's Revenge I have to say. Yes, the quality is very high, but if I see what is up inside the Queen Anne's Revenge... hmmm, not so much. My resume: This ship is a pre-product. And now the final-question! What is for this license-theme the right way to go. Have LEGO to go the expensive way? ->High quality, many details, design par excellence -or- Have LEGO to go the easy way. Good solid design, no much material, like the LEGO Classic-themes. I prefer the expensive way. I think LEGO have to make the best of every idea. Here is the wrong place to economize material. I don't mean LEGO have now to create only huge sets. But to meet the quality standard for Pirates of the Caribbean. Some examples: -Isla Muerta: Yes, that is a small nice set including important caracters. One boat, small rocks and some details. For this cave is the design "ok". But it could be better. -> I missing some dripstone columns, a small treasure-hill, ... if you watch the film-scene you will find more pertinent details. Now lets take a look of the minifigures. Yes, the design for every minifigure is very well. But what could LEGO make better. One look to Barbossa (skeleton) and you now what I mean. Yes, where are the excellente skeleton-torsos and skeleton legs for Jack-Sparrow and Barbossa. Torsos in skeleton-style including clothes in tatters and some pieces of meat. -> And now we would have a LEGO-set in a new quality. Plus it would give us a new perspective for the design for the other skeleton pirates. -> These skeleton pirates we would see including with the Black Pearl in another set. A real ghost-ship with sails in tatters with lot of ghost pirates and a frightened Maria Swan. LEGO, you have so much luck. You have the chance to create some of the best movie sailing ships of all time. Don't produce pre-products. Pirates of the Caribbean is worth much more.
  14. I don't like the cannons inside the Queen Anne's Revenge. Why these haven't wheels?? LEGO, you have paid for the PotC-license lot of money. Here is the wrong place to economize material. I'm dying to know what we will see inside the Black Pearl. I hope cannons "with" wheels...
  15. ...and here again a another picture of my favorite idea. As next I would love a Tortuga-set including these scene: better in LEGO-style: and the Lady in red:
  16. I think since LEGO have produced Pharaoh's Quest is the Indy-line died. In this theme are listed the same characters, have the same style/design and does not have to pay the license. Sadly, but so is it. May LEGO-Indy rest in peace.
  17. I think it too. But unfortunately LEGO did it. Two examples from the pirate-theme: I don't know what happend with LEGO. Why a NinjaGo theme were skeletons fighting against Ninjas if they could make a real Asia-theme. Why a Pharao-Quest theme if they could make a real Pharao-theme? Why a Atlantis theme with buildings in antique-style if they could make a real Antique theme. I see here on Eurobricks in different threads your amazing ideas concerning these themes and what doing LEGO? ....hmmm, I'm speechless. Why ignored LEGO us?
  18. Wookies! New detailed Wookies would be awesome. What do you think about a new Kashyyyk-treehouse including some Wookie-warriors and Yoda with his small spaceship?
  19. Your windows are very good designt. Plus I like the Castle-lion-bricks on the columns. Very good work!
  20. WOW! A greate MOC! Super details, super design and a super LEGO-technique. I see your pictures and feel really the atmosphere inside thismachines.
  21. Hi, here are more pictures about the walls. I believe now you can better see the controls/ monitors, table and robots. -tabe with Vader Uploaded with ImageShack.us -wall 1 Uploaded with ImageShack.us -wall 2 Uploaded with ImageShack.us -wall 3 Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  22. ...uff, thanks!! I hope now is allright. And thanks for your good feedback. @ Brickdoctor. Thanks too, yes, the Theta Shuttle is one of my favorite shuttles.
  23. Uff... sorry! Is it so better? Can anyone explain me how I can to show you the pictures in a resize form?
  24. Hi, do you know this LEGO set? I think that is one of LEGOs best small sets. Unfortunately I don't have it, so I thougt "if I don't have it -than I want to brick it". First it was only Darth Vader and the table. I thougt "yes that is nice, but maybe it will be better if I build a wall around the table." And after the wall came the computer. As I was finished with the last robot I thougt "so, now is enough and that is the output of my brickingfever: The complete Darth Vader Transformation. Have Fun! -general view Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us -topview Uploaded with ImageShack.us -Emperor Palpatine Uploaded with ImageShack.us -Vader gets the helmet Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  25. A prison including three captives and the incredible Dog with key.
