Added Poes Xwing and the FO Transporter to my growing TFA collection that already included Rey's Speeder and Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle. After building all 4 sets I have to say Kylo's Command Shuttle was my favorite in building, displaying and playing. The interior is so good with the detailed pilot seat area, ramp that doubles for seating and small area in back to seat a couple more. Love this set and it's probably my favorite SW yet. I plan to buy the Special Forces Tie next and just bricklink Finn and old Han.

Better look at Kylo shuttle according to this site. Looks darker than Lego one more dark dark grey almost black but Lego did a pretty good job. Oddly the wings look a bit slanted maybe? The front of the main ship looks similar to Lego. Went to Target and got Kylo's Command Shuttle and Rey's Speeder. Was very tempted to pick up transporter and Poe's xwing but decided to wait. Can't wait to build the sets after work today. :) Too bad the FORCE25 coupons exclude Lego, oh well.

Where did you see the designer confirm this info? Just curious if it was a designer vid or something Lego officially posted. Thanks!

I hate the employees lie about a recall it's insulting to consumers. I mean they expect us to believe an item will be recalled for less than a week and then miraculously be allowed to be sold on release date? I worked in retail for several years and I don't have any qualms about upsetting the status quo or causing a disturbance. They stocked the shelves early and broke their own embargo, we as consumers should not be penalized or be expected to uphold something we never contractually agreed to in any capacity. Short of it, I see nothing wrong with what you did and it's well within your right to inquire about a product made seemingly available to you at the store.

Lucky you got sets! None of the stores will sell even a small Microfighter polypag of Kylo Ren water bottle. Enjoy and please post reviews tomorrow!

The Poe Xwing review really put it into perspective. $10 more for Poe set and 200 more pieces plus you get bb8. It comes down to which design you prefer ultimately but poes xwing is the better buy with price per piece count. Need to see the review first.

Definitely getting these two along with Rey speeder day one! I took pics of almost every scene from this commercial. Such a fun Lego ad, Kylo looks like a jerk trying to mow down poor bb8.

You're awesome. :) Glad to see a place where corporations can't exert total control over the populace. Knowing how the system works benefits us all.

That hasn't been confirmed and is speculation. Look at the evidence, same engines and same wing length as well as same dark grey colors. While it's possible there could a variant it's not likely a different ship. Also think of the context. The shuttle in teaser is accompanied with 4 or so Transports all returning to the Finalizer Star Destroyer. This scene must follow after the Jakku village attack. We know Kylo has his shuttle there from EW pics. So either it's the same ship or Kylo changes shuttles. Think of it is this way, Lego may have decided they could not replicate all of the features because it would require more pieces or less stability of the model overall.

I'm still so conflicted which version of Kylo looks better. I won't know until I try both! I do plan to add a custom cloth hood just to see how it would look with the helmet.

Thanks for the review! Did you see any other sets when you picked up yours? I desperately want to see more of Kylo Ren minifigure and his command shuttle. If possible could you take some pics of Finn?

Oh nvm I have that pic thanks anyway. I thought it was a more clear image so we could see the face print or mask whatever it may be. Certainly looks too dark and metallic for a face.

I hope the $500 set is TFA either the Finalizer Star Destroyer or the FO Snow Base (that may be too much like Hoth lol) so maybe another Maz Castle set...

It's still possible to get Luke in Hall of Mirrors if Lego includes him as the teaser force vision/flashback version.

The arm is dark red but the hand looks reddish brown in the image. Unless it's just lighting possibly?

It's my favorite set and number one purchase on Force Friday. It comes with a good selection of Kylo's crew: officer, two ground crew/tech and the right hand Stormtrooper seen by his side from EW pic. I love shuttles and this is a great evolution of the lambda class design. The three compartments are fun and cannot wait to see if modding the interior is necessary. Has the ramp like Tydirium, the front cabin and a rear hatch that has some other features. Only concern with this set is that the engines are red when they should really be orange but that's minor. Side note 3po looks really good but why is his hand brown?

Kylo ren certainly looks better when viewing higher quality images. He went from the worst minifig of the wave to top 3 easily just behind the Stormtrooper/Phasma and Rey. Can't wait for these sets officially on Force Friday! Thanks TLG for making these amazing sets and we understand the harsh pressures from a mega corporation like Disney, no hard feelings I'm sure. Besides we can discuss everything in just about two weeks. Also thanks BrickDoctor for clarifying that we can discuss grey areas, much appreciated.

BB-8 is underwhelming, it is perplexing why Lego decided to leave so much of the body unprinted. Of course the light silver printing gives the illusion that the detail has been faded which does not flatter the model. Sadly, BB-8 may be the worst minifig of the TFA wave.

Speculation but informed based on the details provided. We will have to see and hopefully soon if someone can provide the back of the box.
