I wouldn't call it too hard. I'm just not as into the big modular buildings as little small hole-in-the-wall size of homes. Modern I think is really simple. Lots of white lots of windows. Weird square hanging bits....

The brick built deer is absolutely terrifying. I've been sketching out some other ideas for backgrounds.. I was thinking some wheat field... or maybe a subway station...

Some more work on the winter background. Still not sure what to put on the little clearing. Maybe nothing.... Travis! Don't forget to check out blue render!

Here is just a slim modular duplex loosely based off of one of the first things I ever made in LDD way back in the day. Knocked out windows for clarity Here is the larger upstairs apartment with a bedroom and access to the roof. It has large windows around the outside edge of the building.... well there would be if it wasn't for clarity's sake. Here is the back side of the smaller apartment downstairs. You get in through the back door of the apartment. There is a small bed crammed under the stair like Harry Potter. It has a small kitchen and eating area. There is also windows between the steps so the under the stairs bed doesn't feel so cramped.

Sure share away! I've been hoping more folks would give it a try, It makes LDD moc photos look amazing instead of a mud of colors -
Oh I forgot to ask. What type of scenery would you think fit in the winter background.... I'm scratching my head and the moment.

That's what my old "bag of ideas" topic from a few years ago was kinda suppose to do. Find old pictures of "last of it's kind" style trains and experiments.

Just a small segway.... Those are XL BBB wheels right? I thought they only sold them in black grey and red? Or am I just missing something >-> -
There we go. More work on the winter scene! Using some old trees from a really old Lego idea book.

Lego Pneumatic train build... [Dump blog thing]

Hrm. That won't work on the train either.... I'd need to press out the boiler by another stud. I think a healthy amount of glue might be the safest option -

the metroliner seems to be the most iconic Lego train..... IF there is anything special. I bet it will be something metrolinery -

I've tried a dome and a plate before but it's not flush with the front of the boiler..... or its too high up and not center... -

I'm not sure how I might even attach a headlamp without it being elevated and strange... the boiler front end is a big mess of snot. -
I'm having too much fun... someone stop me. I made a little background for some of my trains and as you can tell I've fallen in love with BlueRender..... That is all.....

Wow.... just.... wow........ I've seen a couple monorails in the past using the single rails..... but they were NOTHING like this.... heck even my monorail was just a train with training wheels. Amazing work man!

Just a really small steam locomotive I was messing around with. I guess it would be a nice little train to move some carts around a yard... I don't have much to say about it I've just been toying with the idea of tiny locomotives (much like tiny homes) that fit on one track length. There isn't many ways to get steam drivers on the one track length unless you have some medium drivers or using the small wheels with the crank shaft pins. Quite small compared to my big pneumatic train

I got some more work on the tender, it's very rough but I can work with it. I decided against putting the pumps inside of the tender because of the limited space. http://imgur.com/a/rKcRM (Better pictures) -
How in the world............ My mind is hurting trying to figure out how they navigated that mess of tracks... Must've been like those old sliding puzzles...

I've heard you guys say over and over that it's cheaper to bricklick out the parts for it.... Whats the best way to order parts for trains off of it, I honestly have no clue where to begin. As you know I need to get bricks for my LPL... I just need a lot more cheese wedges then I have in my own horde...
