Hi everyone. I'm curious about something: why have I not been able to find the latest Star Wars buildable figures in shops? I was at the Dreamworld Lego Store back in September and saw the sets related to The Last Jedi, but since then the range has dwindled to nothing in shops apart from the Lego Store. So, it has been about six months and it doesn't look like any other stores have had any stock of buildable figures delivered. What gives?

I'm currently building this set. I love it so far, the engineering is awesome. I'm very impressed with the Telelever front end, and it's just the right scale.... (Build it like a streetfighter. Leave the fairings off for some extra cool-factor)

Bear in mind that Lego Star Wars games already exist, so if you're in dire need to play Star Wars in a Lego game, go play those. Same with Avengers. And Harry Potter and Indiana Jones. Plenty of Lego themes already in games other than Dimensions.

Toyworld at Burleigh Waters (and, presumably, other Toyworlds) have got the new Ecto-1 and 2 set for $99.

Found this morning on a Facebook Lego group I'm on: "New sets at big w warringah City Airport Volcano Starwars Superhero Nexo Ninjago" So yeah, they're coming. Sydney first since the distro center is at Eastern Creek, then further out after that. For those upset about the delay in getting the mid-year sets, bear in mind that a supply shortage caused the USA to not receive the first run of SW sets at the beginning of the year until April or something, while we had them in January. It happens, yes, but it's not just Australia that gets shafted.

^ I'd love to know when the Ecto 1&2 set pops up in stores. Anyone have an idea of when this might be? And yesterday I saw that Target in Southport has Battle of Hoth UCS and Classic TV Series Batcave on the shelves, as well as UCS TIE Fighters back in stock. I'm pretty sure they're up for RRP, unless there's a sale on that I haven't heard about.

I spotted the new Speed Champions sets at Target on the Gold Coast. I picked up the Audi R18. It's sticker hell. I'm also curious to see how many Aussies purchased the GT3 RS. It's sold out already on Lego Shop. That's insane at the price it's going for worldwide.

I was looking forward to maybe getting this sometime soon. Uuuuuuuntil I saw the Shop@Home price for this on the Lego Store website. $500 AU. Now I'm doing the sad banana dance. Sorry Lego, I'ma have to skip this one, unless its on offer somewhere for half the price.

1) I signed up on their Shop @ Home website 2) Early access to new exclusive sets, and reward points for spending over $100, to be used in future purchases 3) Not at all. I base my buying decisions on whether I like a set/theme or not 4) It would be cool if we got a bonus after (x) amount of purchases, or time as a VIP like 1, 5, 10 year anniversaries or something. I wouldn't mind one of those chrome red minifigs, personally :) 5) I don't think I'd need any extra preferential treatment, over other people to be honest. Although, one thing I'd love to see is faster shipping to those of us in the Antipodes without a stupidly high shipping fee, and better knowledge of upcoming bonuses or freebies months ahead; usually Australians don't get to know of these offers until the last minute. Look at the size of that thing! It's probably on-par with the scale of the actual prop used in filming the opening scene of A New Hope (which I have seen in real-life, and it's amazing).

Darn it I came all the way here to post pretty much exactly what DarthTwoSheds said. In other news, I'd love to see Lego do the yellow Mining Guild TIE fighter with the segmented panels. Or this thing. This is pretty epic.

There definitely is double VIP points on now. I received an email from Lego last week advertising this.

Damn, that sucks. I can't see it on their website, and there are no stores near me anymore to go check them out. It's no biggie, though. I can use the King's Mech to pad out any Lego Shop orders to get past the free shipping threshold if I need to.

Speaking of Nexo Knights, has there been any sightings of the King's Mech yet? That's the only set in the Nexo range that I'm interested in.

Epic. Very, very epic.

They upped the price, While using less parts, And changed some things for the worse. Dubya-tee-eff? But I still bought one anyway. Looks good alongside the previous Jedi Interceptor, which is saying a lot for a prequel-era set. I think the best part is that they fixed the flimsy-ness of the droid socket, mine is constantly coming loose on the Anakin version. But now R4 sticks up way high. Harrumph!

Heaps of 2016 sets now at Toyworld Southport (Gold Coast). I would say almost all of SW and City, didn't get a chance to really see as it was still being unpacked.

I like the idea of merging (kit-bashing) the canopy pieces from the rather average Rebels TIE Advanced Prototype (75082) with the awesome TIE Fighter from 2012 (9492) while using the design of the very awesome First Order TIE Fighter (75101) as the basis. I have tried doing just this, but of course between the two donor sets there isn't enough pieces to complete it. I hope Lego gets to it very soon and updates LDD with the new parts from 2015/16 so that I can design something worthwhile.

Woolies supermarkets have remaining stock of SW Microfighters going for $5.
