I Googled it then the name rang a bell. But in many series, Babs was the first:(B:TAS, YJ, 60s TV show[that I grew up watching reruns of, introduced me to the Bat], The Batman, etc.) I knew it. Yes Barbara is the most recognizable Batgirl out there, so it was a smart move by Lego. Maybe instead of multiple BGs we'll see Spoiler and Black Bat. Then I can make funnies using "Spoiler Alert" as a joke.

She was? Huh, I never heard of her. I guess I have to do some more Bat-research. Wait a minute, she was in Young Justice. Huh, I would have never guessed she was a hero.

Barbara WAS the first. Then Joker killed her legs, and she became known as Oracle. But I don't like Oracle 'cause she sits at a computer most of the time. The only part of her story as Oracle that I like, was when she got to walk again. It's in some comic. I just don't get why one would like the replacement more than the original. I realize it's a preference, but I like Babs as Batgirl, or as Com. Gordon(BB). Steph is good as Spoiler, and that's my preference. You took what I said the wrong way. I wasn't trying to be "condescending". I wasn't saying this: "You're dumb, what you like is dumb, it is beneath my notice, and I must re establish what is right." At all. I like Stephanie too, but I think Lego made a better choice making Barbara Batgirl. She is the most iconic. And I'd probably skip the set if they put in Steph as Batgirl. I just don't know the character that well, and so I just gravitate to a character I know and love more. Anyway, you say potato, I say potatto, and I respect that. Friends?

Um, the real Batgirl is Barbara Gordon. She's useless as Oracle(and booorrring). Who wants a figure that JUST sits in a wheelchair? Xavier can pass because he's Leader of the X-men(technically). I think BTB Batman is a figure every DC fan should get. That style suit(B:TAS throwback) will be the suit I'm gonna use mainly. Riddler's awesome, and if you don't want the character, use the parts to make a custom villain or whatnot. I just feel uncomfortable around creepy stuff. It's nothing against the character, it's just how I feel. Either way, you like what you will, but I just can't get the appeal of the Lab Smash. Also, if I want Stephanie Brown, I'll just ask for Spoiler, thank you.

Hate to double post, or bump, but I've got more ideas. Throwback time! Gotham Academy Battle: Amazo, Ivo, Two MONQIs, Superboy, Kid Flash, Robin. Green Lantern Interceptor: Aya, Hal, Kilowog, Razor. T-car: BB, Cy, Rob, Star, Raven, Slade. The Flying Batmobile: Batman Beyond, random Gotham Villain. Others: The Bat-Tank: Batman, Killer Croc, two crocodiles. Star Labs: Green Arrow, Star Labs security trooper(2), Star Labs Scientist, Batman, Deathstroke. ACE chemicals: Joker, Batman, Security guard(2), Joker Goon(2). Batman vs. Bane: Battle Beneath Wayne Manor: Bane, Alfred, Batman, Bruce Wayne. A Batcave redesign/expansion. Comes with platforms for the Bat-vehicles. Batman in Wonderland: Search for the Mad Hatter: Comes with a blond civilian(could do a nod to Young Justice and throw in Artemis), Mad Hatter, Tea Table, Batman, A big building with 'Alice in Wonderland' themes, like Tea cups, tea rivers, playing cards, Cheshire(Villain, with removable mask). Batman vs. The Brotherhood of Evil: Vigilante, Batman, Stargirl, Robin(Dick), Brain, Mallah, Rouge, and Immortus. Scuba Batman and Aquaman vs. Black Manta: Batman, Bat-Sub, Buildable shark, Aquaman, Black Manta.

What about Batgirl? My main problem is that while TM and MODOK are good villains, Their appearances creep me out. I take that into consideration when looking at something. "Do I feel comfortable around it?" I only have the Doc Ock ambush set, so I'm looking at getting Cap, Thor, Falcon, Hulk, and IM for a Justice League vs. Avengers battle. Since it's cheaper to collect DC heroes than Marvel Heroes, I try to collect DC first, then get the MARVEL sets as I see fit. Plus, I still want to collect this year's Hero Factory, Star Wars, Police, a couple of Friends sets, and a few sets from last year's Chima, Star Wars, MARVEL, and HF. So I have a lot to do before buying these MARVEL sets. But, I can't go without Joker and Flash any longer!

Steamroller and Riddler chase for me. Yes. I don't see what others see in the Smash Lab. I don't like MODOK, TM creeps me the hell out, I may get this set JUST for the Heroes. I'm not really feeling it.

We seriously needed some non-black eyes. The Blue-Green-and Brown pupils we got with the CW faces was need in my opinion. Either way, I still hate that snowtrooper backpack design. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's how I feel about the new snowtroopers.

Oh, my. It could've at least spread to two studs wide. Either way, definite gets are: B-Wing. (Airen Cracken!) ISD The Phantom/Ghost combo : (Need the combo, must collect the series) AT-AT I've still got other themes to collect, so this should be good for now. Edit: I'm now a Knight! A Jedi Knight.

However Lego did Groot, it's fine. Y'Know, seeing that GL "Lite", I'm thinking whatever the exclusive that's coming this year, It'll come with him. On one part, I'm excited. On another, afraid for my wallet.

I just like stylized stuff. Having uniform with everything is boring to me. I don't see why the Rebels figure don't have anime faces. The show style is the same as TCW.

Dude, it's fine to have an opinion, but don't say other people's opinions are wrong just cause they differ. You're acting immature. Some of us like HF, and this years sets. Get over it.

I just have to answer this. Variants don't count. Since we got GG in the first Spiderman license, doesn't count, or DC would have even more figs than Marval that are new. 2014 Batmobile is the coolest I've seen Lego make. The Duckboat is cute, and a good vehicle for a parade float. Steamroller: It's Joker dude. But, remove the smile and viola! City Steamroller! so anyway, Rocket is definitely in an orange jumpsuit. Groot has no uniform, Star Lord has on blue and brown, (I think ), and Drax is half-naked(he's supposed to be I know), and Gamora is the only one in an all-red uniform.

New Batmobile: Cool. New Steamroller: Cool Peguin Duckboat: Cool New figs: Damian Wayne, Batgirl, Manbat(though really lame), Flash, possibly future GL. Colorful: Steamroller, Duckboat. Ha ha haha ha. Back on topic, I didn't notice Gamora's sword. Could someone share a pic?

Do you realize how slow GOTG posts are? Anyway, They look like passable sets to me. Not really recognizable to me, and they would look weird in with the other MARVEL/DC heroes. Though more pics may change my mind.
