    Well, Greek highways tend to be with less traffic in comparison to the ones in the cities, although that's not always true.. Yep, that's an orange painted solar powered emergency phone. I only wish I had more space for the nearby facilities I want to build. Thank you very much for your comments once again! ?

    Thank you for your kind words guys! This highway actually occurred from my necessity to create a display for my 4-studs wide trucks and vehicles. I'm a huge fan of the Classic Town & Legoland themes. I grew up building those majestic old sets and somehow got stuck to the 4-studs width for my moc vehicles. I believe they fit more properly to Lego's road plates than today's 6-studs wide cars. I'm a member of the greek GRICKS Lug (Bricks + Greeks = Gricks... ). We participate in various Lego and toys exhibitions and events mainly in Athens region but in North Greece as well.     Hi guys! I'm trying to upload my Flickr pictures. i follow the procedure as before copy & paste the picture's link from Flickr, but I keep getting stuck to the attached picture. The panel's background turns to light red and the "insert into post" tab doesn't react. Tried with small sizes and even small pics ~300KB, still doesn't upload. Any ideas please?

    Thank you very much. I totally agree about the Octan sets of the 90s, not even close to the earlier Shell ones. Probably the not so nice colour combinations, but I believe Lego did it also for a change to more "environmental friendly" reasons of those days.. Thanks so much for your kind comments. Yeah, there's a difference between European and US commercial vehicles transportation sizes. Such one is that in Europe you will mainly see 2-axle tractors with 3-axle semitrailers and the opposite on the US roads. My approach was to kind of merge both with a sence of Classic Town Legoland.. ?

    I really appreciate your kind comments! I'm a big fan of the late 70s, 80s and some 90s Classic Town, Legoland vintage sealed sets. Although those two sets (1651 & 1552) were made in 6-studs, I'm also a huge fan of 4-studs wide vehicles. About ten years ago I was lucky enough to get both MAERSK sets per 2 copies. Each one sealed and each one used with complete sticker sheets. I spend hours and money in order to replicate those stickers in as much as possible detailed manner concerning dimensions, colors and thicknesses. I have kept a few sticker sheets like the ones I used in those two mocs.

    Thanx again, I do like as well the color combination and unfortunatelly I only managed to get as much as possible parts in ''Old Grey''. The tipper lifting part is a pneumatic cylinder indeed and does not work other than keeping the structure up. The logo of the tipper though is of one the major European tipping companies (Meiller Kipper - https://www.meiller.com/en/ ) and the attached picture shows my effort to get as close as I could... ;-) 05a by George Legoman, on Flickr
