  1. Jess pops her pellet and a red aura covers her body. She begins to shake violently and her eyes roll. The others run to her, but are thrown back. Suddenly, it all stops, and Jess feels her body grow stronger from the experience! Her power goes up one permanently.   4. Well, I've found my problem with my quest! I want to make quests that foster character growth and interaction, but this one, with all the one-on-one fights, sadly doesn't do that. But my next one shall, I promise! I'm really excited for that in the quests I participate in and really am going to look to force it upon others in other quests. That being said, the reason I'm sad I didn't leave much room for it is because these are some of my favorite characters. Thanks for questing with me so far guys, and you are far from out of the woods.

  7. Cronk can sense nothing in the tunnel, even with his super Orc powers. Time Remaining: 8 Hybros walks down the tunnel. The roof grates on his hat, so he removes it. He gets to the end of the tunnel and faces a wall. Hybros is confused for a moment before a small root like object bursts through the wall. Hybros is then even more confused. The root seems alive and places a small, rolled up note in Hybros' hand before pricking it and taking three drops of blood, costing Hybros 2 health. It then drops the three drops of blood back into his hand, but they have now become a red pellet, a blue pellet and a yellow pellet. Hybros walks back to his friends.   8. Cronk moves the rock, and a small tunnel is fully revealed. Hybros could, in theory, fit down it, as could Henry or Jess if they crawled. Strangely, though Cronk has put a lot of effort into the rock and grunted a fair amount, the guards have not stopped him, and in fact have a glazed over look in their whenever they turn to face the tunnel's direction.   9. Jess goes to talk to the Lady in White. "Hello!" beams the lady. "It's nice to see another female warrior! My name is Bell. I'm hearing murmurs of escape, but I would never be part of an attempt unless it really seemed to benefit me. I'm confident I can fight my out in the arena, so unless you guys make a good case... of course, I'd PREFER to beat the jerks who put us in here, but not if it results in me being killed. Make me a good offer, and I'll help you guys out!" Time Remaining: 14 Master Docken mumbles and grumbles his way around the cave. He sees not exit except the one that the guards block and a small tunnel with a rock covering most of it. The heroes would not be able to pass through the tunnel unless they first moved the rock and then also had someone really small and impish to walk down the tunnel. Time Remaining: 12

  12. Hybros goes over to talk to the Skeleton. "Oh, you're... you're small. You're not that scary. Hi, my name is Garrison." Garrison offers his hand and Hybros shakes it. "Listen man, we got to get out of here. I'm not fighter. I can't survive up there!" Garrison moves his hand to his face and rubs it, revealing skin under what now appears to be white make-up. "I'm not strong. I just pretend to be! I wear this skeleton mask to scare people, but I'm just a normal guy. I think we should make a break for it now! I heard what Felton said! But maybe the cleric's only a rumor, and maybe there aren't less guards and maybe we'll just have lost more people. You heard what that archer did with that Orc. That could happen to me! I think we should just go now. If you go later... well, I'll probably still be with you then, if I'm still alive!" Time Remaining: 18

  14. "Alright. And you could always resell that shield! With your crazy hiked up prices you could probably get a ridiculous amount for it!" Boomingham gives the lady fifteen gold and his bone for three canteens. "Can I ask you a question? Free of charge hopefully. How many days do you think we'll most likely be out in the desert?"
  15. There's a reasonable idea. I agree, Barbarians are friggin' invincible as of now. They just have to survive a battle at a time, where usually the challenge is surviving numerous battles in a row!
  16. "Only good for one day? You're practically killing us right here and now!" Boomingham says to the lady. "Villains and rogues." "Hey!" protests some passing rogue. "Tell you what lady. I'll give you... fifteen gold and a bone for three canteens. And tell you what, just since I like you and your pretty face, I'll throw in this shiny ol' shield (WP: 2), and expect the map in return." Boomingham continues to haggle, reminding the woman he is a knight and has a special knack for this... hopefully.
  17. "Hey," says Boomingham all of a sudden. "I'm feeling really powerful. If I had to put my power form into a number, I'd say 15! Not some measly 11! I don't need exercise, thank you very much you little whelp." Boomingham bursts out laughing. "Oh, and hello to the town. Let me check you out!" Boomingham replies to the market worker. "I'd like to buy a canteen. I'd like to use my natural knightish charm to see if you wouldn't mind selling it to me a fair price of five gold!"
  18. The Man in the Hat nods to Cronk. "Hello! My name is Felton. It is a pleasure to meet you Cronk!" He lowers his voice to a whisper. "I too would like to escape. I have heard stories about these games... while the tales may not reach Eubric, rumors have been flying across the countryside for a few months. Strong folk disappear for a long time, and everyone once in a while, one or two of them stumble back and say that they were forced to fight in an Arena, but they cannot remember how they got to and from the Arena. Most people label them as crazy, but I listened. Knowledge is power, and you never know when it will come in handy." Cronk nods. Felton steps a little closer. "My advice is this. I have heard that between rounds, that is once the first eight fights have been had, a Cleric comes and heals everyone who has fought. I think we should wait for that and then escape. When that time comes, I will fight with you against the guards, but right now Hans and I are both injured. We will lose more contestants that way, but it is quite likely that there will be less guards than and we will all be at full health. If you wish to try to escape now... well, best of luck. I'm waiting." Time Remaining: 22

  20. Master Docken approaches the skeleton, who speaks in a frantic manner. "You... you want to talk to me... wait... you killed, you're the one who, that poor Orc, I'm sorry, I don't think I should, I mean, don't hurt me, will you, do you, I can't talk to you, the guards, sorry." The skeleton scuttles off to another corner. Time Remaining: 26
  21. Is it the shark?! I bet it's the shark. I have to say that I do not envy the people in Brickdoctor's quest currently...
  22. The contestants all turn to look at Cronk. A few look like they might be interested in speaking, namely the fellow in the hat, the skeleton, and the female, but a look from the guards puts them back in their place. Clearly the party will have to go up to the other contestants one at a time. Perhaps, as well, so as not to make the guards too suspect, they should designate one person to send to go talk to each specific other contestant, so that it does not look like a big gathering. <Please specify who you would like to speak to, and which of you would like to go speak with them! They don't like being yelled at! >
  23. "Why not?" says Boomingham. He takes off his helmet and mops his wispy gray hair with a tissue. He is sweating heavily. "I love to see new places." He turns to Nyx. "I'm glad you're enjoying the weather, Mme. Mage, but I am not doing as well. All this extra weight makes the me feel the heat of Ennoc ten times more than you." He pats his tummy a few times. "I could lose a few pounds. Crazy that we haven't thought up a spell for that yet."

  25. Master Docken tires to subtly walk around the cavern. He spots a total of 11 guards, all armed and ready to fight. They all attempt to stare him down, discouraging escape. Time remaining: 28
