  1. Good morning, sunshine! Also, you're the demon. The original one, that is. You now have five members of the group converted. I believe strongly that one of them is Siegourney, and one of them is Diana. Sheldon, I apologize for accusing you over the last few days, I think you are clean, actually. Either you or Diana is. And if you're clean, Siegourney is certainly one of the demons. I have no idea who the newest convertee is. Mystical Images 201 is sure paying off! Thank god I got that secondary college degree! *While Sylvia talks, she tries placing ice cream on the eight knobs from oh so long ago.*
  2. If there was a problem with this XP system, Sandy would have said something. She hasn't. Brickdoctor has not handed out XP willy-nilly. There are 80 pages in his quest, and maybe at most 7 levels of XP have been gained. He has shown over the course of two quests that he knows what he's doing.
  3. Super super cool! I'm a little confused by the "hair", it seems long and straight, but the rest of it is so impressive, and so inventive! You tried something different and new, and succeeded.
  4. The QM's write me the blurbs. I just have to format them and alphabetize. It sounds easy... but it's a lot of time. But thank you! If you don't feel like joining another Zepher quest, but want to meet Wren again... there will be a chance to do that. I hope I'm not giving too much away. But it will be fun!!
  5. Boomingham snorts awake at the bar. He starts, sits up, looks around, and is assailed by the vast number of new voices and faces. He is overwhelmed. Clumsily, he lumbers from the bar over to a big, comfy chair, sits down, and closes his eyes. He smacks his lips a few times. Barty whizzes in his normal agitated manner. "I'm not leaving this hall for a good long time," sighs Boomingham happily.
  6. I gotta get off my lazy butt and finish the NPC index. Merf. But like I said, I'm super pysched! Tell me if you'd like any of my NPCs to pop in and say hello! Though, as those of you who are fans of Wren Quests will find out in... oh, maybe a week or two, most of my NPCs are FAR from Eubric. and they're hanging out with some of our other old friends... from non-Wren quests...
  7. You know I've been waiting for this one!
  8. Docken, you are going to be impossible to fight between your shield and your dread hat.
  9. Vote: William Falcon (Whitefang)
  10. Vote: William Falcon (Whitefang) Vote: Donna Falcon (Dannylonglegs) Vote: Siegourney Harcourt (Siegfried) Vote: Sheldon Wills (Shadows) I'm nominating Sheldon with three relatively trusted people. If we get back a "should not be trusted" result, we'll have learned that a) the demons CAN grow in numbers, and b) Sheldon is more likely to be one, though the proof will still be very flimsy.
  11. The conversion theory was not mine. The intended victim theory was mine. Really? It leaves Sheldon? In what way does it leave Sheldon. We have confirmed that puddle three can ONLY point to Sheldon...
  12. Thank you, thank you! I have a lot of fun writing, I'm glad people are able to enjoy it as well.
  13. The people we can't trust, and why: Diana Mantino (Fugazi), Fred Thomas (CorneliusMurdock) and Chris Owen (Tamamono) (nominated untrustworthy group) Interesting note on that, supporting the conversion theory: "At least one person nominated should not be trusted" Sheldon is very clearly linked to puddle 3. So, I urge everyone to NOT vote for these people. We have tons of people in the clear. Furthermore, and I hate to once more rag on this group, but if there are conversions, the people receiving lots of clues and lots of challenges should probably be under scrutiny. The demon would convert those getting and giving clues to "keep it all in the family". It's a good thing I took Demon Spotting 101 when I went back to college that second time!
  14. I think anyone who is confirmed to be tied to a puddle (no one else can be tied to that puddle, we had two of those kinds of people yesterday) and everyone on the list of people to not be trusted should not be given a clue. That is five of us. There are still a number of people to receive clues.
  15. WEll, that's certainly a terrifying thought. I was thinking that the pools of blood were telling us who to trust, but this seems compelling too. I was trying to figure out what the gens could mean. I was actually searching for them in the water. Something intriguing happened while I was under there. Someone tossed something in... if you're not a demon, and want to tell me what you're doing, please explain it to me privately. If you are a demon, and want to tell me what you're doing, please do so publicly and explain that you're a demon. Thank you. The converting theory does make sense. I was going to say, if there is only one demon, the chances of us nominating them is 1/14, but, if you're right and there have been converts... that would be very bad. But make nominating one more likely. I think everyone who was nominated and everyone who is tied, for certain, to a blood puddle must not be trust.
  16. Challenge: Begin
  17. Here's a rough draft of a short fairy tale I wrote for a friend:
  18. Scheherazade, who has not appeared in a long time (Boomingham misses her ) is from One Thousand and One Nights. I'd also assume Byblos is from the Latin words for library.
  19. Ever since Hoke had left, Boomingham had gone between chugging drink after drink, and passing out on the bar. He was currently in the latter state of his cycle. Barty hovered near the quest board and signed him up for Quest 17. "Hopefully we'll be able to get away from all the free drinks..."
  20. Vote: Chris Owen (Tamamono)
  21. "The monk has been clear, these belong to us." "It has been revealed by the monk that these belong to us." "We know that puddle three had a dark blue fabric and a black fabric thanks to Chris Owen. That makes it look like the blood there is from Sheldon or Siegourney. What puddle did you ask about, Fred? This further supports my theory. If these puddles or blood are from different people, they must relate to not demon people, because there is only one demon!" "And just because I don't want to miss the public vote, since all this thinking has made me tired, I will vote now." Vote: Sylvia Berent (Zepher) Vote: Fred Thomas (CorneliusMurdock) Vote: Chris Owen (Tamamono) "The other two have shared their clues in the past, I will share my clue. We need to get all the fabric from all these puddles and see what we can figure out from it. I trust these two to cooperate. We should also have people double check the puddles already checked. Not Chris Owen's, as his found fabrics doesn't connect to him, but we should check Fred's, and see if we can't figure out if he was lying about the fabrics to get himself cleared and make it appear like he might be killed. Sorry Fred, I just want to double check you, you can imagine why it's important as your clues are the reasons that I trust you, and you could easily be lying."
  22. "That seems to leave us with a strangely low number of suspects... but yes, it is possible it's one of the two of us, and then it's down to the others to pick between the two of us." "Is there anything else anyone could think of these fabric bits meaning? Also, it has been revealed that these pools of blood belonged to someone in this room... a fact I forgot due to the hole in my head. Let's thoughts flow more freely, but sometimes I lose a few... No one is bleeding... is there another way to lose blood I'm not thinking of? Does anyone feel faint? Is there a body hidden in the room?! WAIT! How many members were part of the last party here? Could these blood puddles relate to them? Could they still be here?" "Wait, wait, new scary thought people! We're finding the fabric in the blood. People bleeding is not good, even probably for a demon person. Maybe these fabric bits are telling us who will die, if they belong to people in the room, and if the blood belongs to people too. Which would make mine and Fred's futures look rather... deadly. Oh my. Any thoughts on that theory? I'm just spit balling here!"
  23. "And to me too. We're actually the only two it leads to, and since I actually know that I'm not a demon, forgive me if I'm a little suspscious. Especially because the only reason you'd lie about your clues is if you were the demon. So again, you'll have to forgive me to mistrust you. Even though the demon wouldn't lead us to himself... unless you think we'd note that the demon wouldn't lead us to himself...."
  24. "Very well. Let's hear your course of action. Who are your suspects currently? Why do you suspect them? Let's hear it. Shooting down ideas is all fine and dandy, but what have you figured out." "Any progress on that, Diana? That was just a few minutes ago, but it seems like ages ago. But don't think we've forgotten. We'd love to hear all these clues. The voice in the sky would love for us to hear them too, it appears."
  25. "A total of two. I have put forward an effort since I've gotten the hang of things, sweetie." "Solving clues is one way of trying to figure things. Actively trying to figure out where behavioral patterns could lead us is another. And do you really think that the one and only demon would be sitting by idly while we soaked up all the clues? We have each other to lean on, he or she does not. I think it is actually reasonable to assume that they may be active." *No I am not.*
