Boomingham, for all his insistence on saving her, is unable to talk to the troll woman. He hangs back calmly, looking at the ground and clenching his jaw. He looks like he is concentrating on the ground with a terrible intensity, a mix of anger and confusion, perplexed, all wasted on the floorboard. Barty zips forward. He looks the troll girl up and down in disgust. "Where has your master gone? He must be punished," Barty demands. -

That's in all technicality their classes when they fight with the party. And I think I'd like to, maybe after the Wren Quests are over. If the mood strikes me. I won't force it, but it would be a nice reward for the heroes, I have felt bad each quest that they don't get reputation bonuses!

I waited until we were done with the scientist's, but I'd really like to return to him if anyone can hammer down the door. Perhaps the key? I do not think not voting is an option again. Something must have happened during the night to someone, and I doubt we will avoid a nightly death again. It seems a death was blocked, so the chances of the Royals having a kill as well seems unlikely - there is probably only one kill, and it most likely belongs to the Assassins. Bess and Charles are clearly not two people that we feel strongly about. Unless something new has come up about them, I say we look at other people today so as to avoid the lock we had yesterday. I wouldn't want to make the same mistake twice, am I right?

Round Three Maw Battle Atramor Gibbin heals Harkenshire - Heal More Mallelio heals Thothwick - Heal More Tarn Valco v. Maw - Critical Hit Thothwick v. Maw - Special Damage Nyx v. Maw - Miss Counter Strike William Harkenshire v. Maw - Special Damage William Harkenshire v. Maw - Critical Hit Mallelio and Atramor start off the round by healing their two charges completely. Tarn, feeling empowered, charges forward and sinks his axe into Maw's shoulder. Blood spurts outwards ((10x3)+13=43). Maw wheels around and shoots flames outwards, burning all the heroes (Atramor: -0, Nyx/Harkenshire/Mallelio: -2, Tarn/Thothwick: -3). Nyx gets slashed by Maw (-7) but fires back a darkness smell that lands in his open shoulder wound and festers (13x2=26). Maw shoots out another flame (Atramor: -0, Nyx/Harkenshire/Mallelio: -2, Tarn/Thothwick: -3) and then William fires a shot that lands in his other shoulder ((5x2)+11=21). Wren Hunters might exist some day, but not for a while. I have no idea what their characteristics would be. Felton and Hans (and Co, though they don't have official "Wren Hunter" titles) are so different I don't know what the basics would be. ALSO, I apologize to my questers, I will only be on once each day for the next two days (and the last two) as my Art AP is on Friday. We must submit 24 original pieces. At the beginning of the week, I had 19... so I've been in my art room at school upwards of 12 hours each day all week!

Anyone can condemn SOMEONE by simply unvoting who they've voted. That's all you have to do if you feel strongly about convicting someone but don't feel strongly about who it is. I just believe that neither of the two we went after are scum. Neither had anyone rush to their defense, as Fairon pointed out, and Shanalan is correct in saying that at random, we have an equal chance of hitting either royal family or assassins. Now, I really want to go wear the hay, if you're following me.

Atramor attempts to slash Maw, but Maw is too busy swinging at himself to hit (-15). William Harkenshire fires on the stumbling U'Kin, but the U'Kin is moving too quickly and the shot skims his skin (-5). William reloads, and this time his weapon malfunctions to his benefit, firing three times on the poor soul (16x3=48). Tarn is also unable to get close enough to hit Maw as he flails wildly, but he takes care of himself for Tarn as well (-15). Thothwick and Nyx charge the stumbling creature, each landing solid hits ((8x2)+15=31) and (((13x2)+17)+((13x2)+17)=86). Nyx's attack is accompanied with a hail of pebbles that bruise the cultist. So we're just going to sit around and wait for the assassins to kill one of us. We won't be using the only weapon that our fair sorceress gave us. Though, that being said, I don't really think we're between two potential assassins right now... so... I don't know. This gets me all wiggly, if you catch my drift.

Round One Maw Battle Nyx - Special Damage Tarn - Hit Atramor - Shield Thothwick - Damage William - Special Damage William - Hit Mallelio does nothing The battle starts off horridly for the heroes. Nyx charges forward, but Maw catches all the heroes in a black flame, dealing 2 damage to Mallelio, William, Thothwick and Nyx, 1 damage to Atramor, and 3 damage Tarn. The fire burns them all. Tarn growls and attacks Maw with his weapon, which Maw meets with his sword. The force of Tarn's swing is so great it sends Maw spiraling across the cavern (-23). Atramor takes his chance and hexes Maw, who's eyes start to glow red. Atramor regains one health. Sensing that he will be unable to hurt the heroes the following round, Maw makes good on this round, slicing Thothwick up a little (-8), before shooting out a black flame once more dealing 2 damage to Mallelio, William, Thothwick and Nyx, 1 damage to Atramor, and 3 damage Tarn. The burns sizzle, nice and fresh. William fires off a quick shot (-16). I think that the person angry over the accusations is the one that we should be investigating. Since whoever has the most votes will be lynched, I don't have to worry too much about splitting the vote even at this point. So I will Vote: Bess Bulton (Bob). The heroes follow Mallelio, who leads them for a half a day's journey to a near-by mountain. They hike upwards, Drakencourt nestled behind them, miniature. It's sprawling towers and ancient palaces are a sight to see. Mallelio talks the whole way up, pointing out places of ancient folk lore in the town, and telling of his own experiences with witches and ghosts and dragons. He seems so enthused by every adventure he's been on, the heroes are enraptured, and the time passes quickly. Soon they are at the mouth of a cave. Mallelio lights the way. Around them they see crumbling ruins - clearly once belonging to the fledgling Lion Knights. By the time the heroes hear voices... it is too late to turn back. The heroes hang back, hoping to remain unnoticed as long as possible. "Shall I just take it? Ho ho ho! Just place my hand on it and grab it! You know it killed many of my people, a long time back. And here I am, ready to just grab it and go! Ho ho ho! I thought being Sphinx's errand boy for the day would be boring! I didn't want Loran to send me from the front lines, but look how wonderful this is! Ho ho ho!" "Don't touch it yet, Lion Knight. We don't know if there are any traps..." "Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr." "Oh, you quiet down, won't you, Mane? Ho ho ho. I can tell you from Uland, these bad boys pack a punch. Never trust a Poggy, that's what I always say, ho ho ho!" "We have some visitors, Sir Lyons." "Oh do we, Claw?" "Hello heroes, have you come to try to stop us from trying to take the Tooth which we both want I would presume you have come to prevent us from taking the Tooth which we both want, yes?" "Let's rip them to shreds." "Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr." "Hold on, my boys, hold on. Are these some of the blokes from Heroica, ho ho ho?! Let me have a word with them, let me have a word with them. I know these boys, I know them. Well, their type at least... don't know any of these blokes persay!" The Lion Knight snatches the Tooth off of it's pedestal and swings his visor up. "Hello, heroes, hello. What can I do for you today? Ho ho ho. Excuse me, excuse me of course, I'm Sir Lyons, one of the four right hand men of Sir Loren, patriotic Lion Knight sent here to reclaim Dastan's shores. Have any of you worked with us Lion Knights before? I don't think so, I don't recognize any of you! Ho ho ho! So, what can I help you with, heroes?" -

Flitwick forks over 170 gold and Atramor gives 10 gold for 3 Phoenix Essence. Hans also pays 60 gold for 1 Phoenix Essence.
