Not nerfed. You may not have known it, but they've always been that way. Except that one time where you totally KO'd one of my bosses on the first round with it and were totally alright.

I won't lie, I did laugh a little bit at the improbability, even though I felt bad. Dyric is the least lucky character (that's why he has that die of his), just like Hoke is the most obsessed with his sword, and Cronk is the most meditative.

I don't think it's going to be changed. It's funny you guys keep wanting stronger classes, but as the enemies get better, you complain. I think people ask for changes in the game too often and in too great of numbers. If something seems mechanic breaking or TRULY balance breaking, maybe it should be discussed, but sometimes I also feel that people just complain to get better (CMP, I know you won't take this as a personal jab, so feel safe saying it ). Leave the game be. When stun get nerfed, it hurt one of my weapons, but it was the decision made, so I kept quiet. Do I wish Paladin were a more exciting class? Yes. Do I think it pales in comparison to both other types of Knight ACs and Cleric Acs? Yes, sometimes. But it is what it is, so I leave it be. I think there should be a mini celebration every time Hoke doesn't roll enchant.

Yes there is. Your deadly poisoning and ability to heal yourself is your gimmick that is the same as the 1/6 chance and the high SP of the other classes.

An assassin v. two powerful opponents doesn't want a shield because their chance of hurting either of the opponents is 1/6, as opposed to critical hit or hit. Wardens v. lots of small critters might want an aura, but against two huge monsters may pray for a critical hit or hit. Against one enemy, a mystic knight can afford an enchant, against many, he wants a spellspin. Each class has times it is better fitted, and times it is worse fitted.

I'll update in an hour or two, folks. Running rounds takes time, so I'm sorry if it ever seems like I'm popping in and ignoring you guys- sometimes I have time to post as a character/in the R&D thread, but not run a round. I'm still trying to stick to a 24 hour window though! CMP, stick around for my next few quests. While the next Russel and Guffington are both only in planning stages, they will both feature for every battle a fewer number of enemies than heroes. A situation a Witch will thrive in, and Assassins/Raiders won't. I stick by that the witch needs no buff. It's ridiculous to want every class to be able to handle every situation.

Scrolls aren't affected by effects such as lucky. Neither are item's effects.

Right you are! Most effects along those lines have a timer (and CMP clearly designed the item under the impression that it would have a timer) so I forgot, but looks like you're correct!

I think 3 would be a nice change. It would not really change the battle, but still give the witch a nice little perk.

Magical Illusion, the way it is, is sentinel along with gold gaining along with assured damage to the enemy party. I'm with Scuba, having hosted a witch I personally find them quite balanced and exciting, with (as with every other class in this game) certain advantages and disadvantages.

I think that the fact that you think Pretzel is nice speaks to your character. The Hall is a vicious place. Everyone thinks mean and bad megablocks are the same thing. Cronk is a perfect example of how thats not true. Also, the Inquisitors look AWESOME. I wish we had seen more of them before now!

With all the heroes of the hall... the chances of making a friend off the bat are slim. Romulus, Sarge, Eric, Atramor, Arthur- everyone is either angry, sworn to bother people, violent, cocky or stubborn.
