  1. Nice and fast. You have a perfect garden for rockcrawlers!
  2. Hello, Eurobricks Technic, Mindstorms and Model Team! I have been without internet for some time, and just logged into Eurobricks again. I cannot embed an image, so here is the image location on postimage org: I am Kieran Chamberlain, and I present to you a rendering of a Harley Davidson custom designed using LDD that I will be building soon. It is my first LDD to POVRAY rendering, and uses the default render settings. The tyres in the render are for representation only, the real model will have tyres synthesized from pnuematic tubing, etc. 98% complete, It comprises a heady 3000+ parts at 65cm length, with the following functional features: -45 degree single cam V-twin engine with two pushrod operated valves per cylinder -Front and rear brakes with hand and foot controls -Springer front suspension -Foot gearshifter with nuetral and first gear -9v motor in gearbox, battery pack disguised as oil tank -Steering Enjoy!
  3. As a motorcyclist and the a moc motorcycle builder, I can tell you that the 42007 is a good model of a motorcycle, and that they chose a speedway bike as the B model is wicked
  4. I don't know the exact value, lego is expensive here so maybe 5-8$ aud. Thin liftarms would be good, I don't really use thick ones much.
  5. I need more of these, if you have any: toggle connectors, in light bley or black http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=11&itemID=888 any angle connectors on light bley or black http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=86&itemID=525 36t gear in black or light bley http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=11&itemID=17382 these tyres http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=11&itemID=1817 steerinw wheel/ pulley in black or bley http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=86&itemID=688 If not I would consider swapping any dark/light bley or black technic
  6. Anything compact is a real challenge, well done
  7. Absoloutely, I'd consider any technic!
  8. Technic 8857 "Street Chopper" has a dragster B model, the most realistic Lego have ever made. It is proudly on my bookcase, and the only vintage set I have purchased thus far.
  9. Nice, very smooth. Putting the slopes on the rear quater panels mad a nice difference, and the roof looks much sleeker now. I don't know why people are asking for bigger models, it's more of a challenge to build a detailed small model, and giant models are dime-a-dozen. Beside, thanks to the old square-cubed law, one can build three awasome small cars, using the parts that would make one big car that would only be twice as big. If you catch my drift.
  10. That's a wowser, check out the double-wide back wheels! Is that the ONLY LeMans prototype-class car lego have ever produced?
  11. UPDATE: 90% finished. Over 700 Parts! I've never done a full fairing before, I prefer naked bikes. I deliberately left the engine uncovered. I am satisfied with the way this came out. Allmost retro looking with the round headlight, but it looks thoroughly modern from behind - which is what most motorists would see of such a machine in the real world.
  12. Thanks! I love that virago chop. "Frameless" bike rule. I think it looks a lot like the Confederate hellcat too.
  13. You know, I'd never considered building an adventure bike. I will now! Here are some pics of the bike in my avatar: and this is how it looks now, crapppy photo's though.
  14. Challenging indeed, do your best, by the looks of your cars it will be good enough to do it justice
  15. Sure, once I have built it for myself Hell, I'll write a book one day, "how to build Lego motorcycles". There's plenty more where this one came from.
  16. Awesome. Finish it, since you are 9/10ths there. Take a photo, and you'll have it forever! My only constructive criticism: I think the rear windscreen is a bit jagged where it joins to the roof. I think you should use your parts, old school taste and skill to build a 1970 GT-R KPG10
  17. Datsun's Celica, transam prepped
  18. Would it be possible to put two or 3 XL electric motors on one shaft in one XL motor housing? There's definately room, but I don't know if it's easy to change the steel centre shaft.
  19. Thanks! I'm working on the fairing, windshield etc now. I do plan on building it this year, I have many LDD bikes to build for real. This one has priority, and will probably be built first.
  20. Oh, a price might be useful Say, $8 AUD plus postage.
  21. Then build a motorcycle... they win the Dakar most years you know Just pulling your leg, cool truck, looks lightweight and strong
