  1. This is quite nice. The custom Snow White is of course the most eye-catching feature in this MOD. I must say that the castle feels somewhat cramped. It would be really cool if it would open up or something like that. I've wanted to make a fairy tale castle too for quite a while, but my other projects have been in the way. But I'll try to come up with something this fall.
  2. I told her it wouldn't be considered fair, but I also said I couldn't stop her if she wanted to do it. It was her choice, I did not encourage her. Besides, she only confirmed what some players already knew (that the second Jolie was actually Crudo under the effect of Polyjuice Potion), so it wasn't a big deal in my opinion. But if you guys disagree with this, just say so. Just remember that I cannot affect what happens via PMs, other than to stress that messages beyond the grave are considered cheating.
  3. Current Vote Tally: Big Cam/Crudo Alakhazam: 5 (Eskallon, CallMePie, Lord Arjay, Inconspicuous, Shadows)
  4. You can now start voting. You'll once again have about 48 hours time to make a conviction. It takes 6 votes to convict someone.
  5. I agree that this is a nice little house that reminds me of the style of the Blacksmith's House set released about a decade ago, as well as the style of the medieval Playmobil houses. However, the aforementioned lamp above the bed is the only thing I don't really understand. Houses didn't have electricity in them in the Middle Ages, after all, and it doesn't look like a gas lamp either. So can I ask what was the thought behind it?
  6. I've only seen this happen this day, but I agree it needs to stop. I'm looking at you specifically, iamded. Don't make me reconsider your prolonged stay in the game.
  7. He obviously isn't having a very good time doing it, though. Poor boy...
  8. The eighth day is now up, so go check it out. I hope everybody also got their night action results I send earlier. It was a crazy night, and as a result we have to bid farewell to Escape The Fate and badboytje88. You were both dedicated players, so hope I'll see you in another game! Thank you! It looked better in nature than in the pictures, though. You couldn't see the side windows in the photos, for example.
  9. The following night saw some truly bizarre coincidences. With the Auror guards gone, the Death's Hallowed seemed to get an upper hand on matters. Professor Rhubarb Uxley hailed from the land down-under, Australia, that had the most unique wildlife on the whole planet - or so Uxley had thought before he had visited the Forbidden Forest. Now the grim preserve was his favorite place on the whole world. He had tamed numerous beasts and monsters that lived there, but he could not think of using them for evil, unlike his most devoted student, Brandon Townsend, had done. The thestrals and the hippogriffs and all the rest were Rhubarb's friends, even though they understood his twisted sense of humour even less than the people of Hogwarts. The old prankster had lost pretty much all credibility among the school's faculty, so every time the atmosphere became too stiff, Rhubarb sought solace from the forest and its creatures. As he was petting some of the beasts that he had familiarized with, suddenly something upset them and they fled. Turning around to see what had caused the disturbance, he saw a dark-robed figure. "So, I'm next, huh?" Rhubarb asked with a wide grin on his face. No use fighting it, he thought. "Oh yes, I've been waiting for a chance to wipe that smirk off your face for good", the dark figure answered in disdain. "Avada Kedavra!" The Death's Hallowed searched Rhubarb's body, and found a potion and a rare artifact. "So this is how that screwball got around to do all those pranks! I bet this enabled him to use those mysterious votes, too. Well, it's certainly nice to have this all to myself now..." Satisfied with the loot, the dark figure returned to the castle. Desiree Jackson had looked everywhere for her target, but so far to no avail. Finally she arrived to a solitary storage room. "Not here either, huh? Where could he be hiding? I want some petrifying to be done!" "Boo!" shouted someone behind her out of a sudden. Desiree shrieked and dropped her pearly pink wand. Seeing a dark-robed figure enter the room, Desiree found herself petrified - with fear. The figure laughed mockingly. "Little girls should stay in their beds at night, or else the boggart will snatch them." "Y-you're no boggart! I-I-I'm not a-afraid of you!" Desiree mumbled, failing to sound even a bit defiant. "Oh? You ought to be. Crucio!" A stream of bright red light hit Desiree, and she hit the ground in agony. "Now, little Miss Jackson, tell me what other tricks you have up your sleeves besides Petrificus Totalus?" the figure interrogated. "N-nothing, I swear! Please, stop! It hurts so much!" Desiree begged. "Please, I'm telling you the truth! I only have that one spell left! I already used my Amortentia potion and the scarf I had! Pleeeease!" The dark figure humphed, but stopped. The pain subsided, but a sudden chill overcame Desiree. The dark figure looked up. "Oh, it looks like my baby has arrived. It's so nice that those nasty Aurors aren't here to bother you anymore. This one is all yours, darling, she was useless to begin with." Another shriek escaped Desiree's lips as she saw the Dementor sliding over her. "Pathetic little girl..." the dark figure said as it left the storage room, leaving Desiree in the Dementor's deadly cold embrace. Elsewhere in the castle, Jolie Jadis sneaked towards her next target. Sensing someone coming, she hid in the nearby cabin. Another Jolie Jadis walked into the corridor from the opposite direction, wondering what was the voice she had heard. When she had passed, the first Jolie Jadis let out a sigh of relief. Who knows what would've happened if the two of them had encountered each other? The eight day after the initial attacks dawned. The number of the residents of Hogwarts had twindled down to twelve and a ghost, excluding the guests from the Ministry. Auror Potter recounted the results of their investigations. "It would seem that the mischievous house-elf Jingle had indeed allied himself with the Death's Hallowed. You have managed to smoke out two of them, but there must be more among you, for two innocent lives were lost last night: the venerable professor Rhubarb Uxley and the fair Desiree Jackson from the Gryffindor House." Hearing this, Professor Neville Longbottom burst into an agonized wail. "Nooo, Desire! My one true love! How can this be?" he cried and bellowed. The others looked at the Head of Gryffindor in shock and dismay. "Professor Longbottom", Headmistress McGonagall gasped. "Are you saying you had an affair with an underaged student?!" "Uh... I don't think I had", the teacher of Herbology said, confused. "I thought I was deeply in love with her, but as I speak, those feelings are going away. We never did more than hold hands, anyway." "Sounds like a classic case of an abuse of Amortentia, the strongest love potion there is", said Professor Sicilia Bathory knowingly. Shrugging it off, the crowd began going through the events of the night once again. Rules: 1. There are two opposing sides in this game, the Death’s Hallowed and the Innocent. The Death’s Hallowed win when they outnumber the others. The Innocent win when they’ve vanquished all of the Death’s Hallowed. 2. Each day, the players will vote out one amongst them with a majority decision. To vote or to draw back your vote, you must use the following sentence in your post: vote: character/player or unvote: character/player. If you want to change your vote, you must first unvote before the second vote is calculated. 3. During days, there is a 24 hour period before anyone can vote. Once the majority decision is reached, you cannot unvote the player in question anymore. 4. Every player will get a short list of items, spells and skills at their disposal. These can be used only at nights. 5. Each night, the players can use one of their items, spells, OR skills by sending the host a PM about it. Some items and skills have an automatic effect, which will be handled by the host. Items can be handed over to another player, but that will cost the giver the night’s action. 6. To give someone else your item, send the host a PM stating the item you wish to give, the name of the player you wish to give it to, and whether you want to remain anonymous or not. Items cannot be exchanged without the host acting as an intermediary. 7. The night abilities have a pre-specified order of effect. If you don’t send your night ability by the time limit I’ve given each day, you will miss your chance to use it. 8. The Day-topics are meant for active players only, so do not post in them if you are already out of the game. The Discussion-topic is open to everybody. 9. Do not edit your posts, because it is considered unfair to other players. 10. Do not directly quote anything I’ve sent to you via PM. Use your own words, please. 11. All out-of-character discussion must be kept in the Discussion-topic. Likewise, all talk about game tactics and roles must be kept in the Day-topics and PMs. 12. Since this game deviates quite a lot from other Mafia-games, please ask any questions or doubts you might have directly from me, and you will be answered. Players: Hogwarts Faculty: Brigelda Hearth, nurse (WhiteFang) Crudo Alakhazam, teacher of Charms (Big Cam) Eloquence Malleus, teacher of Transfigurations (Shadows) Neville Longbottom, teacher of Herbology and Head of Gryffindor House (professor flitwick) Sicilia Bathory, teacher of Potions and Head of Ravenclaw House (Eskallon) Hogwarts Students: Jolie Jadis, Slytherin (Lord Arjay) Loki Malfoy, Slytherin (ILikePi) Prion the Centaur, Hufflepuff (Forresto) Rocky Broomwell, Gryffindor (hewkii9) Valerie MacArthur, Ravenclaw (Inconspicuous) Xander Lovegood, Gryffindor (CallMePie) Others: Dementor #2 Tea Ching, teacher of Divination and a ghost (iamded) The Deceased & The Convicted: Brandon Townsend, Hufflepuff (Oky Wan Kenobi) - Impartial (killed on Night One) Oraman Furbad, caretaker (JimButcher) - Innocent (slain by a monster on Night One) Angela Weasley, Gryffindor (Burman) - Innocent (voted out on Day Two) Francis Rowan, Ravenclaw (ADHO15) - Innocent (killed on Night Two) Nene Grandstaff, Hufflepuff (Millacol88) - Impartial (voted out on Day Four) Tea Ching, teacher of Divination (iamded) - Innocent (killed on Night Four, now a ghost) Todd "Bulltoad" Bulstrode, Slytherin (Roncanator) - Innocent (voted out on Day Five) Harriet Pewter, Slytherin (YG-49) - Innocent (killed on Night Five) Stephanie Kingston, librarian (Zepher) - Innocent (kissed by a Dementor on Night Five) Sheila Bones, Ravenclaw (Matn) - Death's Hallowed (voted out on Day Six) Jingle the House-elf (Dragonator) - Death's Hallowed (voted out on Day Seven) Rhubarb Uxley, teacher of Care of Magical Creatures and Head of Hufflepuff House (Escape the Fate) - Innocent (killed on Night Seven) Desiree Jackson, Gryffindor (badboytje88) - Innocent (kissed by a Dementor on Night Seven) There are 11 players left in the game, thus it will take 6 votes to convict someone. Voting starts 24 hours from now.
  10. Yay, congratulations guys! This was a fun and certainly different raffle contest, and most of the entries had some real effort put to them, unlike mine.
  11. I've now received all night actions, and I'll process them later today. I will also try my best to get Day 8 up today, so look forward to that.
  12. If there really is a big Harry Potter set coming up - and I trust Svelte enough to believe so - then there really is no other option than a Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley set. All the other options (Ministry of Magic, Gringotts, Malfoy's Mansion) are not varied enough to be bigger than Hogwarts. And with the upcoming sets being quite unspecific about which book/movie they are based on, I don't believe this special set will be any different.
  13. Wow, some of these sound like total must-haves! An elf, too?! How could you tell it was an elf? Did it have pointy ears? Also, did you mean "mummy" as in the monster or as in mother? It's obvious many of these figs were created as counterparts to the ones released in the earlier series, like the samurai, the karateka, the Native American chief, the alien, the male singer, the surgeon and the snowboarder. I don't mind, though.
  14. The seventh day's conclusion has now been posted. I want to thank Dragonator very much for playing, even though you could fully join the game later than the others. Hope you had fun! Keep them night actions coming, the rest of you!
  15. Final vote tally: Jingle/Dragonator: 8 (professor flitwick, Lord Arjay, Eskallon, badboytje88, Inconspicuous, Escape The Fate, CallMePie, hewkii9) Jingle the House-elf let out a big sigh as the crowd surrounded him, fingers pointed to mark him convicted. "Oh, alright, I will go with the Aurors if that is what you want. Hopefully the little information I have is of any help..." Then the petite creature started shivering. "It's so cold outside... I'm not used to being away from the heat of the kitchen stoves. If only I had something to keep me warm...", the house-elf whimpered. "Here, I have this scarf", said Desiree Jackson out of a sudden. "I can't think of any use to it, anyway, so you can have it." "Wait, no!" shouted Auror Potter, realizing what was happening. But it was already too late. Jingle had wrapped the scarf around his neck. "Whoppee, I'm finally free! So long, suckers!" In a flash and a loud pop the house-elf had Disapparated away, never to be seen in Hogwarts again. Everybody glared at Desiree Jackson. It was supposed to be common knowledge that if you gave a house-elf a piece of clothing, he or she would be set free of servitude. "Whoopsie..." Desiree muttered. With the Auror guards gone, the Dementor was now able to roam Hogwarts without restriction. It would surely snatch a new victim tonight... Day Seven has now concluded. Please send me your actions for the following night.
  16. You can start casting votes now. Voting will last 48 hours unless a conviction is made before that. It takes 8 votes to convict.
  17. The headmistress wants to make sure that everybody knows that night actions can be targeted at yourself as well as others. Doing so has never been forbidden.
  18. Last night was a fortunate one indeed for the innocent residents of Hogwarts, for none of them were killed. But for how long could such luck last? There was still the Dementor left to be concerned about. Even though it did not succeed to give anybody its deathly kiss, it still went unbanished. And there were spells other than Avada Kedavra to watch out for, like the Petrificus Totalus charm that hit Valerie MacArthur just before she was casting another spell herself. But although the residents of Hogwarts lived to see another day, it didn't mean there weren't any casualties that night. The bodies of a total of seven Auror agents were found lying haphazardly in front of the entrance doors, with an eerily glowing symbol of the Deathly Hallows etched on the floor between them. On the doors, there was a text saying "You will all die for the Hallowed rising!". The Death's Hallowed had sent a grave warning. The next morning, people gathered at the Great Hall once again, finding Headmistress McGonagall in a heated debate with Minister Granger-Weasley. The leading Aurors were not present. Rumours of the deaths of the seven agents spread among the crowd. A little later, Nurse Hearth brought Valerie MacArthur to the Great Hall. The Ravenclaw girl had made a stupendously fast recovery. Just as the headmistress started to tell the crowd about the events of the night, Aurors Potter and Weasley dashed into the hall. "This does it!" shouted Auror Potter. "This insanity will not cost the life of any more of my agents. From here on out, you must do without the protection of the Aurors!" "As if that has helped us before this..." someone murmured in the crowd. "Auror Weasley and myself will be the only Aurors left to help you solve this tragedy - and that's only because you finally managed to catch one of the Death's Hallowed, Sheila Bones." "She was indeed the werewolf that was spotted a couple of nights ago", Auror Weasley continued. "It's a shame a girl from such a prestigious family as the Boneses was so easily converted to the dark side..." "You better get equal results today as well, or I will finally do what I should've done in the first place and ship the whole lot of you to New Azkaban!" Auror Potter threatened. The Aurors pushed their way out of the hall, with the Minister of Magic on their heels. The headmistress opened the discussion. 19. Sok117 has now been replaced by hewkii9 as Rocky Broomwell. Welcome into the game! I have to apologize, yesterday was a hassle and I needed to get to bed early, so I didn't have time to make Day 7 come true, but it will be launched today, promise.
  20. I hope all you absentees follow badboytje's example and post whenever you can. I wish you could've told me about these leavings sooner, though (aside from flitwick, who did). I don't know if bringing in reserves this late in the game is worth it, but sok117, two weeks without any input from you is just too long. I will have to contact hewkii and ask if he still wishes to play instead of you. Hope you had fun playing with us, anyway!
  21. A very nice MOC that goes brilliantly with your Ronald McDonald custom. I just have to wonder how you managed to misspell "Hamburglar" wrong three times in a row for this topic...
  22. That hairpiece is from the Agents set "Robot Attack", but that's the only set it has ever been released in so far.
  23. I'm really flattered that you like the game so much. It's easy to be dedicated to it when you players offer so much fun and excitement to me as well. JimButcher, I use PhotoShop, nothing fancier than that. The ghost effect is done by taking a picture of the minifig, changing it's color hue, then pasting it onto the bigger picture (cutting out it's own background of course), adjusting size/tilt, then making it opaque and finally slapping some opaque light blue color onto it for the glow-effect. I'm self-taught with PhotoShop, but I still don't know all the intricacies it offers, so I'm improving constantly with it. EDIT: Sorry guys, you'll have to wait for Day Seven one more day. I have to watch Project Runway and then head straight to bed in order to wake up at 5AM for work. There just has to be priorities in life...
  24. I've asked that same question from myself, trust me. But I'm only waiting for one person's input now. EDIT: Results from the night actions have now been sent, but you'll have to wait for tomorrow (or possibly longer) before the seventh day will be launched. I have my work plus a couple of meetings coming up in the next couple of days, but I'll try my best. But now I've got to get some sleep.
  25. Patience, my dear blondie. I'm only missing two people's night actions.
