  5. Perspective can be a terrible thing. If I had known would change greys and market jelly beans as knights I probably would have bought the whole FK theme... Back on topic: I think you're better off with no new pirate them to disgrace the legacy...unless it had somedecent parts. God Bless, Nathan
  6. It is definately a lot less bulky than the 1st generation in brickfest pics from lore... Nice find Phes and God Bless all, Nathan
  7. Nice work. I like the shape and feel of the ship, but I to would recomend some colour adjustment- maybe less red? I haven't built anything space in ages so I can't really comment but I remember it being harder to achieve a good colour balance than with buildings (and I find that hard enough : ) Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan
  8. I know, I've just been gone awhile.. God Bless, Nathan
  9. I would be holding something a little more substantial than a power-ranger sword when I confronted a guy with an axe like that...green hair or not. God Bless, Nathan
  10. Thanks for the handy reference! God Bless, Nathan

  12. well this link might be useful... notable extras it features: "CRAPP: Crummy Ramp and Pit Plate - the baseplate with a ramp and pit." "ALE: Adult LEGO Enthusiast. This term was coined as an alternative to AFOL, since it is easier to pronounce." "BSB: Black Seas Barracuda, 6285." SES,RBR etc (Phes, how could you miss the ships? ; ) "MIB: Mint In Box/bag" "MISB: Mint In Sealed Box/bag" "NLSO: Non-Lego Significant Other." "POOP: Piece [that can or should be made] of Other Pieces." (this one is new to me, but I like it...) "S@H: LEGO Shop at Home" and for Mr Yoda: "SPUD: Special/Single Piece/Purpose Ugly/Useless/UnLEGOish Design/Decorative. Many people think that the many meanings of this acronym make it a great one, as it is not Single Purpose at all." God Bless, Nathan

  21. A late welcome... God Bless, Nathan
  22. Thanks for the review! At least with stickers you can reuse the pieces :) God Bless, Nathan
  23. Beautiful MOCs! Especially the tractors... Interesting you should mention the spheres Hobbes... I've often wondered why lego put so much emphasis on spheres and fine art during hiring when there is so much raw talent out there. God Bless, Nathan (who is not bitter ; )
  24. The new yellow is the one most of us would regard as 'old'. Let me rephrase that ; ) the old yellow (which I've never seen in person) was used before the yellow castle which marked a transition to the 'new' yellow ~30 years ago... God Bless, Nathan
  25. I've had a few hands become loose... but no more than any other piece (arm/leg/head) it has never seemed more major than a law of averages thing to me. I even included a glove seller in my last MOC... God Bless, Nathan
